BE WARY! My wife had to have a root canal and crown installation this month and it left her with…read moreseveral cuts in her mouth. The procedure ran nearly 3 hours and she was still actively bleeding when we left. They close at 1pm on Fridays and we could tell it all felt very rushed. There was next to no post surgery explanation or after care instructions. Just a quick exit and a "we will call you Monday", not even information about an emergency dentist just in case the bleeding did not stop. We were also NOT informed that the crown she received that day was temporary and that she would need to return two weeks later to get the permanent one. Beyond the actual damage done to my wife and their lack of up front communication the. The doctor was defensive when we returned for the follow up crown and took no responsibility. Rather explaining to us how everything was successful and that nothing went wrong. When this was the worst surgical experience either my wife or I have ever encountered.  We still had to pay full price for the horrible experience since all the services were "completed". Sure she did in fact get a crown, but only after a traumatic surgery experience that required numerous staff to be brought in, several days of intense pain and bleeding; and then another unexpected visit just to be gaslit and talked to like we were crazy.  This clinic had EVERY opportunity to make our experience better and they failed to do so. Having to pay full price for a botched job that left my wife in extreme pain doesn't sit well with me and I hope this review is a warning to other folks in the future!

I had an "initial" appointment. During the 1.5 hours before I walked out; I had x-rays. That's…read moreright....x-rays- no dentist, no consultation....just x-rays. The dental hygienist (whom I will not name) was a very professional and friendly person but also clearly inexperienced. The office is clean and nicely decorated. However, the equipment is "vintage". In the day of instant digitized x-rays, 3D scanning, and camera probes; why would you want to go someplace that still places EIGHTEEN films in your mouth and takes photos with a cheapie digital camera and mirrors!!! The office manager called after my visit to inquire why I left before the appointment was over. She was pleasant and reassured me they use "digital xrays". Remember; a 1990 Casio "digital" watch and an Apple watch are both "digital watches"- which would you rather have?? Again, the office staff that I met (never met the dentist) were pleasant and professional- Hence giving 2 stars vs. one. However, when your out-of-pocket expenses are going to be essentially the same wherever you go.....why wouldn't you go to a modern facility?

I tried again a year later and well I got a root canal that seemed a bit rushed. The crown was sitting kind of weird and just overall it was a weird experience. It's been about a year and a half now. Why did my crown fall off, and why did they finish my root canal if there was still decay and infection in it. So this whole year+ a crown has been sitting over a root canal that still has an infection FESTERING inside of my mouth. Which I wouldn't have known if my crown didn't pop off when I was eating....Moral of the story, don't go here. I wouldn't tell my worst enemies to come get treated here.

The waiting area was dated and basic, and the carpet seemed like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The TV was set to MTV which was playing (blaring) some awful reality show about sexual relationships and nude selfies. One of the forms they asked me to sign was a Privacy Release stating that I had received a copy of their Privacy Practices and that I had read and understood it. But I didn't sign it, because I Never Received Anything relating to their Privacy Policy--other than said form asking me to agree That I Had Received It--and at no time did any staff member attempt to provide me with a copy of the notice in response to my refusal to sign. I was not called into the clinical area for my treatment until some 40 minutes after the start of my scheduled appointment time. After undergoing a 35 minute surgical extraction, involving a litany of different tools, a whole host of stitches, and what tasted like gallons of blood, I was provided with Virtually Zero aftercare pain management. I was literally told to 'go and buy some Advil'-- which I did--but it has had almost no effect, and the pain I'm experiencing right now is nothing short of excruciating; my head is pounding, my jawline is throbbing, and eating or drinking is impossible; my entire body aches; the pain is so intense that I can barely see, move, or think straight, and it took every ounce of my strength and constitution to write this review.

They are huge they overflow the bottom of my mouth and the surrounding gums after wearing them some for the last not even a full week yet are raw and bleeding and I can't stand to put them in my mouth again and so what do they expect a person to eat when they have been given a poor set of teeth!? I have made myself try to make it work for at least one week and I plan to call tomorrow and see what they say about this. But no matter what they are going to do for me to get this fixed it's putting me in the bad position with the few choices that someone can eat when they don't have any teeth. This set turned out to be worse than what my first set were like that I had them done at a School for Dentistry. And then really this review should be for whatever lab that they use to make them. This office has been great and they have been doing perfect for everything else that I have seen in the past 5 visits with my process that they did for me. Very nice place and professional service. This lab needs to be investigated by them a little more and they might want to see about choosing another one to make sure that they will receive better reviews from people.

After 6 years of using this office, we found out from an invoice from our insurance company that they are billing us for the full price of the services, demanding payment before we leave, and THEN billing our insurance company, after we have already paid. When I contacted the office and asked for an explanation, the cheats told me that any overpayment was then applied to future costs... meaning that this is what they do to EVERYONE! EVERYONE OVERPAYS SO THEY CAN HAVE A MONEY CUSHION FOR WORK THEY HAVEN'T DONE, AND MIGHT NEVER DO. By the time that the insurance company pays them, they have collected 170% of what they are actually owed. (100% from the patient, and another 70% from the insurance company)... They claim to apply any "CREDITS" to future work, but what is actually happening is that you have paid for something that hasn't yet happened, and all this is done without your knowledge or consent. Our family deserved better, and THIS COMMUNITY DESERVES BETTER! They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau. They have been reported to the Dental Licensing Board in Jefferson City. They are now under investigation by Met Life for their billing practices. Be aware.
