When I find myself in need of picks Tuners and such while I'm on my anual cross country road trip I like to stop in at Eric's Guitars. The thing that keeps me coming back is that since I first met him he treated me as a friend. That's important to me. Earlier today I was in Troy and stopped in Trojan City Music. They had a tuner at half the price that for my purpose would have worked. I didn't buy it because the young man at the counter didn't display an once of friendliness towards me I walked out and drove to Dayton and stopped at Eric's. This is the best place in Dayton to get your guitar set up. If you have intonation or action issues with your guitar, call Eric. I don't think you'll find a better price on a setup and Eric goes above and beyond what I would expect. I brought him a 15 year old guitar to set up - he not only set it up perfectly, he cleaned it up and made it look brand new. I've paid twice as much at places like Hauer and Guitar Center and don't believe they took the time to clean the guitar or oil the fretboard. He also installed a neck on a separate guitar and went above and beyond to give me a great deal - he threw in a few things that I didn't expect too. We stopped by so my daughter could look at the guitars. The employees were so very nice. They let my daughter play one of the electric guitars and hooked it up to An amp for her. They also offer lessons. They have drum sets and also a few other instruments for sale. I enjoyed how friendly they were and will definitely return and shop locally with them in the future. read more
