Well put it on your bucket list, baby, because Harvey House Salon opened not too long ago (November 2018) and it deserves a visit not just for gawking at the staircase which leads upstairs to the spa area, marveling at the kitchen which serves as the hair washing station now, or admiring the gorgeous ceiling; the co-owners and employees also make this salon a place worth visiting for their expertise and quality of service alone. Harvey House boasts an impressive list of services including skincare, makeup, waxing, spray-tanning, haircuts, hair extensions/weaves, hair highlighting, hair coloring, body massage, nail care, eyebrow tinting, eyelash extensions, etc. The amount of things you could do here are impressive and I've had the chance to get my hair cut (twice by Cassandra), my face waxed (twice by Chelsea [one of the co-owners]), and a couple's massage. All occasions have left me very satisfied with the results and I always leave feeling relaxed. I plan on coming in the future for a body scrub. The prices are just right for the services provided and the hair/skin care products that they carry for sale inside are high quality if you are interested in buying something for home use.

There were a lot of staff on hand to help us all get ready, and they were so sweet! The decor in the salon is gorgeous, it's very white and clean. They have large windows letting in a lot of natural light, which is wonderful. It doesn't have that dark, cavelike atmosphere that some small salons with no windows have. The salon has a clean and spacious bathroom, a keurig fully stocked with good coffee and fixings, and the stylists were so helpful. They have Kevin Murphy and Moroccan Oil products to offer (love Moroccan oil's argan oil)! They have glo-minerals makeup, which I'm not a fan of, but the ladies that were doing makeup for the bridesmaids and bride were using a large range of professional makeup brands (urban decay, MAC, etc.) Kate did my hair and she did a wonderful job! She did a great job making my fine, straight hair look beautiful and voluminous in the up do that I chose. I showed her a Pinterest picture and she did a great job recreating what I wanted. Renee did a great job with my makeup, I love that she started by asking how I did my makeup every day. When I asked her for extra coverage for my rosacea she did an awesome job making sure that my makeup was on lockdown.
