    I brought my late fathers 78 Gibson Les Paul Custom that hadn't been setup properly in 2 years. I found Eric on Yelp and decided to have a proffesional do the job. I was not disappointed. Eric adjusted my tailpiece height to match up with the bridge, intonation is now on point, and my action is where it needs to be. The most noticable difference was when I plugged her into my tube amp. At the end of our transaction he had mentioned that he adjusted the height of the neck humbucker, which is something that was seldom adjusted (I've always had it high). All these years I thought that muddy dark tone of this humbucker was set in stone, not something that could change without swapping the whole humbucker. This new brighter tone is like playing a new guitar. It's a night and day difference believe me. I am pleased with his work and I highly recommend you give him a try for your next setup. His dog is pretty awesome as well.

    Eric knows his stuff and he is really friendly. Very easy to work with and his work is clean. He installed new pots and 5 way switch into my Partscaster and the soldering is some of the cleanest I've ever seen. I'll be taking my other guitars to him for some TLC as well. Highly recommend his work!

    I was looking for a tech that was familiar with working with Suhr Guitars and a friend recommended Eric. Brought my suhr guitar in that lost output volume and Eric was able to identify and fix the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was super nice and charges fair prices. Definitely bringing my other guitar for a setup soon! Thanks Eric!

    I had a fantastic experience working with Eric. He was very responsive when I requested a quote. Me being more of a player than a gear head Eric walked me through different options for pickup replacement and even sourced them for me. He also sourced a new pick guard that had a tighter fit around my pickups. The quality of his work on setup of my guitar has made it a real pleasure to play and really showed his knowledge in what a player wants. I will definitely be taking other builds to Eric, his workmanship and pricing is unmatched. THANK YOU ERIC!!!

My parents and I recently received it as a gift from my cousin who got it brand new as a kid over 50 years ago. My cousin wanted my teenage son to have it, so he shipped it to us and we decided we would surprise him with it. My son has worked so hard playing for the past several years and we felt he deserves an upgrade from his student trumpet to a professional instrument. I searched for local music repair shops in my area and landed upon Brass Attitude Mobile Instrument Repair here on Yelp. I was intrigued because this company is the only one I came across that offers to travel to the customer's location, provide a quote and pick up and drop off your instrument as part of their service. I sent a message requesting a virtual consultation and Richard was very responsive and knowledgeable- he took the time to answer ALL of my questions as I had no idea the technicalities of restoring an instrument. Richard accommodated our schedule and we set up a time for him to come to our residence to take a look at the trumpet. He offered several options and suggestions for finishes (lacquered, brushed/satin, and silver plating) and brought his own trumpet to show us what a brushed finish looked like. He evaluated the condition of the trumpet very well, shared his own personal experiences as a trumpet musician, and offered great suggestions for how my son can customize the instrument to his liking as he continues playing. Since the trumpet case was not in the best shape, Richard also offered suggestions on the best cases and stated would also be selling them very soon if we were interested in buying from him. He made great recommendations about the best mouthpieces and valve adjustments to fine-tune the trumpet for creating a better sound. Richard identified the dents that needed removal, valve felts that needed replacement as well as corks and screws that needed replacing. He stated he would give the instrument a much-needed "acid bath" to remove rust and other buildup. Richard assured us that the trumpet was in decent shape, but he could make it look better and get it in ready-to-play shape. We agreed to have the work done. Richard emailed a quote to me itemizing the cost of the service he was going to provide and stated that it would be 3-day turn around to complete the work. He kept great communication with us via text and sent us pictures of his work the night before he was scheduled to drop off the trumpet. We paid the invoice online which was in alignment with his initial quote. About 3 business days later, Richard dropped the instrument off this morning and we are very pleased with the work that he did. We can't wait to see the look on my son's face when he receives his "dream" trumpet on Christmas day! Thank you Richard for making this possible for us and we look forward to your expertise when my son decides to have additional customizations.

    Stop by this place since my boyfriend want to get cajon bag to protect his instrument. Upon…read morearrival, a group of staff were talking to each other and not paying attention who is coming. My boyfriend and I were walking around in aisle looking for the cajon bag many times. No one came to assist us. We try to flag the staff down in front by waving our hands and the group of staff ignored our needs as they were testing out a new guitar joking around. I literally had to call at them and one of them look like they are tired of their job. The girl with a black ponytail asked, what do you want looking pissed off because she had to break away from her group. The attitude is no good from her. She said go inside the cajon room and it will be there, immediately went back talking with the group. The fact that I had to wave and call at them loudly to get their attention is such a big disgrace. I never have to do that before at any Guitar Center I've been to in Montebello or Riverside. All I really want is for the staff to help me when my boyfriend is trying to purchase something for his instrument. After my boyfriend purchase the item, the girl cashier who has straight blonde hair went straight to talking to her coworkers. I mean, come on I had to call her out where is my receipt? Her face is so mad at me just because I asked for my receipt. What if the bag is broken or my boyfriend do not like it? Like what people say if you don't do your job properly, you will do it twice. The overall customer service experience at this location is relatively bad. The company needs to learn how to train their employees on how to become active at customer service. I understand how there are slow days but become considerate toward customers. We are the one who put sales into your business so it is running smoother.
