During my visit, I observed one employee educating two, young future DJ's on the proper use of specific pieces of equipment and which affordable items to purchase (no upsell observed) One item on my bucket list is to learn to play the bass guitar. Because she also plays travel sports, finding time for lessons at a traditional music school can be difficult. We were so happy to find this studio locally in the Diamond Bar/Pomona area. Monica, the owner, is friendly and welcoming, and Mr. Chen, her viola teacher, is knowledgeable, encouraging, and supportive. He's been great at helping her continue developing her technique and confidence while preparing for the demands of Symphony. The studio is upstairs in a busy shopping center, and sometimes parking is an issue. Every time we come in there seem to be kids coming and going--which I take as a great sign! We've had a positive experience and definitely recommend them.

He asked what I needed, and I explained that my acoustic guitar had a broken peg tuner. I already had the replacement part with me, so I handed it over. Instead of jumping straight into recommendations or upselling, he immediately tried to fix it on the spot. Once he confirmed it was repairable, he quickly cut the string, replaced the tuner, and got everything back in place. The whole process took less than 10 minutes! I live in Carson, so driving out to Lakewood and getting it fixed the same day was such a relief. This guitar isn't for professional use--it's for my daughter who's just starting to learn--so having it ready right away saved me a lot of time and hassle. He even tuned it by ear in seconds, which was really impressive. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. I really appreciated the quick, no-nonsense service and would definitely come back again for future repairs!

I've been looking for a place to get my fingerboard taped, and was so relieved when I called and they said that they could help me out! Not only did she help me with this, she also helped me tune my violin and, noticing the bridge was crooked, put it back in place. When I offered to pay, she said it was for free. When one teacher wasn't the right fit, the staff was flexible and supportive in helping us make a change. The director and front desk are thoughtful, accommodating, and always focused on what's best for the students. Recently, my daughter switched to cello and absolutely loves it--her teacher, Jasper, is genuine, respectful, and makes learning the cello feel relaxed despite its challenges. Recitals are fun, and we're so happy with the program and its affordability that we plan to enroll our other kids in piano group lessons for music theory. We'll update this review then!
