So after our first experience, which is typed up below, we ended up just hiring Eric to seed the grass for us. The quote he gave us was affordable and once we asked him to do it, he was very quick at getting us into his schedule. We let the weeds get out of hand again since the last time he helped us out, so we actually needed him to get rid of the weeds again before we could seed. He came one day and took out all the weeds himself. He also spray weed killer all over the yard. Left instructions on how to spray for weeds for one week. We needed to spray daily. Then he came back a week later and did the tilling of the yard, to get the dirt softened up. After that he had to haul away some dirt for us to the landfill as we had dug a hole for our trampoline to be in ground and had just piled it in the yard where the grass needed to go. Next he and his crew got the irrigation system set up. They brought in a trencher and dug the trenches for the pipes, connected everything, got the sprinklers hooked up, tested them, and then buried the pipes. He was able to connect the sprinklers to our watering system we already had on the house which was nice. When he finished, he graded and then seeded the yard, as well as put down the top soil. After the seeding, he watered the yard and then gave us instructions on how to care for the grass, what the watering schedule needs to be, and how long to stay off of it, etc. The whole process seemed long, but in reality it only took about 2 weeks, and that's only because he had to get the weeds out! He's fast, affordable, friendly, and good at communicating without trying to oversell you. He runs a really good and honest business and we'll definitely be hiring him again. I'll come back and add to my review after the grass is grown! We're very excited about it. First experience - beginning of summer We moved into a new house about a year before we hired Eric. The backyard was not done. Just dirt. We weren't ready to fix it up right away so we left it. Then the rain and and the MUD. ‍‍ And then after the mud came the MASSIVE INFLUX OF WEEDS!! Weeds of every shape and kind! Our poor dogs were constantly covered in burs and we hAd to go through their fur every time they came inside. Our kids couldn't play out there either! Anyways, we found Eric on yelp, hired him to clean up the backyard and get rid of all the weeds. He and his crew came, stayed for a few hours, and it was like a brand new yard! They even put the weeds in our green bin for us! We really liked how he handled business. He's quick, affordable, and a nice guy as well. After hiring him for the weed removal, we decided we would ask him about seeding grass. He was very open with suggestions, and even went as far as to explain the exact process of what we would need to do, the order of things, etc. My husband was considering doing it himself at this point, and Eric was very helpful and provided a bunch of great tips and info on how to get us going. Eric came and did the initial work. Was not responsive a week later to our continuing leak problem, would not return calls or texts. We fixed it ourself. When we tried contacting him again 2 weeks later about a new problem he set up an appointment and never showed or contacted us. Er hired someone else who when they came actually pointed out problems and continued leaks to the original repair by Eric. He is not ethical ( seems not to stand by his work) , is unresponsive and wastes his customers time by setting appointments he does not keep. Eric came out and took out a huge flowering bush along with a couple others dead plants and mowed our front lawn. We needee it done quickly due to getting the exterior of our house painted. Eric came out to complete our landscaping. We had agreed that he would dig 5.5 inches for our patio area. Instead, he only dug the patio area to 3 inches and let us know at the very end of the job that he isn't able to complete the job. He did not reduce his price appropriately for the incomplete work. Now we are left with an unfinished patio area that requires us to dig up ourselves or hire another person which will cost us more than the original quote. read more

Eric was punctual, and incredibly professional and polite. We ended up needing 3 pick ups instead of one which Eric took care of with no problems and came back quickly the two extra times. He helped the wife move the things out of the back yard and was patient with the wife while she finished prepping the last of the garbage. Eric and Cesar was always very difficult to get ahold of even from very beginning. I saw yelp reviews and I contacted them. I finally got ahold of them and hired them to take out old plants from my garden and put in new plants that I have purchased and add bark on top of the garden. It was a very straightforward garden work. When they put in new plants, they did not make sure all the plants are getting water. Therefore, some of my plants are dying. They left multiple drip lines hanging over the bark in my front yard which I almost trip over. I texted them that they need to come back to put the drip lines under the bark. They did not respond to me. Very unprofessional. They did not bring enough bark that day and told me they will bring more bark the next day to finish the job. Today is the 9th after the installation day and they still have not been back with the bark. They will not response to my phone call nor text messages. I have left them numerous messages and they do not respond back to me. I have purchased some plastic strips to hold drip lines in place. I bought extra but they took my left over. Now one of my trees seem to be dying since they redirected the drip line. I am very disappointed with their work ethics. They disappeared as soon as they got their money. Eric hauled away about 4 cubic yards of landscaping rock that we had removed from our front yard. I called him at 8 am and asked if he could remove it that day as we had mulch due to arrive that afternoon. He fit us into his schedule at such short notice and was reliable and reasonably priced. He loaded the rock into his trailer himself and worked super hard. He removed the first load the came back for the second. His honesty and integrity shone through as he could easily have stretched out the job to three dump runs but he squeezed in as much as he could on that second load so he didn't have to charge us for three. Eric came to my moms house here in woodland and worked on the backyard which has not been touched in several years. Nothing but weeds and old plants and bushes. I didn't even know there was a cement slab. He was very polite worked very hard and had it cleaned up and hauled everything to the dump in two days.
