We hired The Grounds Company for a major backyard cleanup, and I honestly can't recommend them enough. Our yard had gotten away from us after years of neglect, and with a new dog in the family, we wanted him to have a safe, open space to enjoy. After doing some research, I found The Grounds Company and decided to reach out -- best decision we made! Sebastian, the owner, is incredibly professional and just an all-around great guy. He came out for a consultation, walked the entire yard with us, and within a few hours we had a clear, itemized estimate that was very reasonable. The breakdown included everything: overgrown weed removal, tree trimming, debris haul-away, and even stump removal. Rain caused a couple of delays, but Sebastian was always quick to communicate and had us rescheduled within days. On the day of service, Sebastian and another crew member arrived earlier than scheduled and got right to work. They worked fast, efficiently, and did a tremendous job transforming the yard. What used to be an overgrown, cluttered mess is now clean, open, and dog-friendly. Our dog was absolutely stoked once the work was done -- the backyard is officially his turf now! If we ever need more work done, we're definitely calling Sebastian again. Sebastian and his team did an excellent job installing a French drain in our front yard, removing plants that were too close to the house, and installing a drip irrigation system including a new valve with pressure regulator and filter. All this work was needed to keep water away from our house where it had previously caused damage. I had to wait a couple of weeks for The Grounds Company to have an opening in their schedule to do the work. But hiring Sebastian was worth the wait. He wrote a detailed bid that was reasonable, was great at communicating, followed through on all of the work that I contracted for, and cleaned up the jobsite when finished. Sebastian helped me with not one but two thorny messy yards. He was responsive, easy to schedule and most important, cares deeply about producing quality work. Just as an example, he asked for a different date to do the work when rain was on the forecast as wet grass wouldn't result in clean yard that I was looking for. A good landscaper is hard to find. It's one of those trades that seems easy on the surface but somehow impossible find good quality ones unless you've got an established relationship with someone. Contacted SUV Landscaping to remove the weeds on the side/backyard of our house. Sebastian was great! Our initial visit, he was able to get rid of most of our weeds but because it rained the next few days, some weeds grew back quickly.
