Wanted a broccoli rabe, egg, and cheese sandwich but they were out of the broccoli rabe so I got spinach as she suggested. I requested wheat bread and she asked if I wanted it toasted. Yes please! When I went to pick it up it was ready in time and exactly as ordered. Also it was packed lovingly as requested- cut in half with each half wrapped separately. They used wax paper which I liked. Hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time. So cheesy!! Perfect ratio of ingredients. I did make an impulse buy of the homemade oatmeal cookies on the counter. Winter on a Saturday night two weeks ago before a storm came through a good portion of the east coast. Channel 6 Action News in Philadelphia gave continuous coverage of the storm and we decided to wait it out at Eric's restaurant. We were already there and ate Greek food and a seafood scampi. The owners were great, very hospitable and talked to us and the other customers who were mostly locals and regulars. It was some of the best food we have had and good conversations. COVID-19 curbside pick up is super easy at Eric's. We placed our order on the phone and just called when we pulled up. Jimmy came out to deliver our food and take the payment. We ordered their stuffed shells, gyros, and chicken princess over rice instead of pasta. It was all really good and they provided desserts for ordering during this shut down. The banana bread and chocolate chip cookies were our favorites. They have a pretty large pizza menu too if you're looking for decent pizza during this shut down! read more

Servings were very big and the prices weren't to bad, I liked everything i ate while I was there.

My husband and I ordered take out last night (1/14/22). He got the gyro and fries which we have had a few times and Is always good. I decided to get something different and ordered chicken Parmigiana dinner. Well I regret ordering it. It was horrible, the sauce was tasteless which was only on the chicken. The chicken coating was soggy and there was fat none chewable pieces in the chicken that turned you off from eating it. The pasta had no sauce but the oil from the soggy chicken. I would never order this again. On a side not the onion soup that came with the meal was good. I guess I will stick with the gyro and the soup and will not venture on trying new things from the menu. read more

we went to eric's for dinner the other night and it was honestly great. the food was really good, the portions were generous, and although we took it to go, the staff was very nice. after we ate we looked back at the menu and saw they served breakfast til noon so, the following day we went back to try it. i was extremely disappointed. i ordered the waffle and i wish i could tell you how it was but they didn't have have any, so i settled for french toast. i'm not a fan of fake syrup so it was very dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. my dinner experience was a 5 my breakfast experience a 1 so my review is right in the middle. i'll definitely be coming back, just not for breakfast. the inside also seemed pretty clean, not somewhere i'd go specifically for the ambiance or anything but it's perfectly fine to sit and have your food. read more

Eric's used to deliver so we used to eat a LOT of take-out from Eric's. Huge portions and really good take-out deli and greek influenced food (and pizza which I've never tried.). Their salads are phenominal and HUMONGOUS. If you go for sit down, don't expect ambiance, it's a pizza joint inside. They usually have one server for the whole place. But it's family friendly. Great for lunch or a quick dinner. I recommend their really tasty monster greek salad for 8.99. They also serve breakfast from 8-11am (which I've also never tried.) read more

Eric's has pretty good food and generous portions. The menu is really long with Greek, Italian and American food options which can be a little overwhelming but they definitely have something for everyone so that's nice. Great family option for that reason. read more

I took two days to think about whether to write this review. It kind of pains me to write a bad review of a local restaurant, that appears to be family owned, in a bad economy. However, my experience was just awful. I have been meaning to eat here for quite some time. I was on my way to Olympia the other night for dinner and my friend suggested we try this place. I was all for it because I keep forgetting to go here. I knew the inside wasn't going to dazzle. I don't really care about that. I will say the place seems very clean. Our server was pretty good. She was working the entire floor by herself and seemed to be taking care of everything just fine. There were maybe 5-6 tables seated at any given moment. We ordered the saganaki, the crab bisque and two greek entrees. Saganaki was not bad. Crab Bisque was so gloopy I think I could have spackled a wall with it. The flavor was not horrid, but not great either. I could not get over the disgusting, thick texture and the fact that it started growing a skin almost immediately after serving. I ate two mouthfuls and pushed it aside to take home. We are not getting off on a good start. I ordered the Chicken Mykonos and the description read "Sauteed chicken breast with sundried tomatoes, mushroom, broccoli, diced red onion, dill, and feta in a butter wine herb sauce over pilaf " When the food came out I was stunned. I don't even know how else to put it. I saw maybe 4 tiny, tiny pieces of diced sundried tomatoes. The broccoli was frozen. I saw no red onion and no dill whatsoever. And, there was an abundance of frozen succotash and chopped green bean thrown all over the top of the food. There was TONS of it. First, it has no place in the meal. Second, it is not listed in the description. So I had copious amounts of diced carrots, green beans, lima beans, and CORN in my "Mykonos" dish. I began to eat and of course the flavor was just not there. How could it be when I was expecting the flavor of dill, red onion, and sundried tomato yet none were to be had. I ate three mouthfuls and took it home. My friend's dinner was the Chicken Ala Lipsos. That was chicken with mushrooms, black olives, fresh diced tomatoes, onions, dill, and feta in a butter wine herb sauce over pilaf with pita. What arrived was a dish slathered in a runny tomato sauce that appeared to be manufactured in a plant not fresh made, no fresh diced tomatoes, and about 2 olives, and a ton of halved, stewed plum tomatoes floating in the sauce. The flavor was not there either. So not only where our dinners not what is listed on the menu, but the "alternative" they slopped together did not even taste good. $15.99 for each entree. Very, very disappointing. We both do not like to waste food. Even if I don't care for something I will eat it reheated the next day for lunch so as not to waste it. Both entrees and my take home soup was thrown out today. I couldn't even bring myself to eat my food. Our bill came to over $40 for food that in my mind was barely edible. I have never eaten here and I will not be back. I am wondering if their sandwiches and pizza are better. However, there are 18 greek entrees on their menu. If they are going to make the decision to put that much selection on a menu they have the responsibility to execute it half way decently. Not only was this not Greek American food at all, it wasn't even palatable food in my book. I feel that I wasted my money and I had to go to dinner at Olympia the next day just to have the decent meal I had been craving. I actually feel bad writing this review. The family is there working hard, you can see them. They rung me up. Wait staff was nice, the place looks really clean which I always like to see. But, if they allow food like that to go out of the kitchen I feel I should warn other diners. I've had to update my review since visiting a few times since the first initial visit. I will not deny - the food is good for this diner-type astablishment. I can't complain about it at all. all of my complaints lay in one place - the service. Both me and my boyfriend have experienced horrible service here - one time he was even completely ignored after sitting there for 20 minutes after the waitress took their drink order, and no one else was even in the place. The second-best Greek food in Vineland. The best being Olympia, which is just the best, most authentic Greek food in the area. Eric's is very good, but it's a more Americanized version of a Greek restaurant. They supplant the Greek specialties with pizza, cheesesteaks and the like. Food is good quality, huge portions and satisfying. While open for dinner, I suspect that Eric's does bigger business to the lunchtime crowd. They specialize in quick turnaround and take-outs. The interior is very spartan, open and noisy--not really conducive to lingering over a meal. read more

I should start off by saying that I made my Yelp account for the sole purpose of reviewing this restaurant -yes, it was that bad. My husband and I decided to try out Eric's "Vegan Tuesday" menu after reading about it in the local paper. The article made it look like it was going to be a very enjoyable event. However, when we arrived, we were informed that we would be paying upfront (a fee which would have totaled $68.00 for the two of us had we not gotten small discounts for being students) for a set menu consisting of two appetizers, soup, a main course, and dessert. We were a little off-put by this, but decided to pay and try out the food anyway. After we were seated and received our appetizers (a grilled veggie plate with hummus and pita bread that was actually quite tasty, and a pretty decent cold bean salad) and the restaurant began to fill up, the staff began to seat random strangers with us. The couple that was seated at our already cramped table, and were offered no appetizers of their own, decided to move after a few awkward minutes. Normally we would not mind having a communal dining experience, but the food was very expensive for what it was, was half eaten by us, and it didn't look like they were getting any new plates of their own -not to mention none of the staff even asked us/informed us about table sharing ahead of time. An hour later, we were stuffed on our hummus platter and wanted to take the giant bowl of bean salad (that we had maybe taken two or three spoonfuls of so far) home for later, but when we asked for a to-go box, we were rather rudely told that no boxes were being given out and without even asking if we were done, our barely touched food was taken away and promptly trashed. Quite sometime passed with us just sitting there while everyone else finished their appetizers and we asked several staff members if we could just have the remainder of our meal to go. Instead of an answer, we were brought soup that neither of us enjoyed. When our untouched soup was taken away, we told a waitress that we were in a rush and would very much appreciate it if we could just be given the last two courses to go. She left and didn't come back for thirty minutes, then made an excuse as to why things were taking so long, but didn't answer our question. We were getting fed up with basically being ignored and finally waved down a different waitress, explained that we had other engagements later on in the evening, and that we couldn't possibly wait for very much longer -not with how slow things were progressing. Before she came back, we were given our main course and after a little more persistence we were finally given a box to take it home, since it would've just been thrown away because we were too full to eat it. We're pretty sure they just gave us the box to shut us up. Thoroughly off-put, we decided to just leave without dessert, since they weren't going to just give it to us and it would've been another good forty-five minutes before it arrived. Overall, it was not a good experience. We payed over $50.00 (after our discount and leaving a tip for the waitresses) for bad service at a poorly organized event, and food that was sub-par. The whole idea of the event itself (exposing people to vegan cuisine and the beliefs of the movement and etc.) was fantastic to begin with, but it was executed terribly. Sadly, my husband and I won't be returning to Eric's for anymore Vegan Tuesdays, let alone their normal menu. read more

We are a local family that loves Eric's Restaurant. The staff is friendly, our favorite waitress is Maria. The food comes out fast and absolutely delicious. After eating there so many times I figured giving a review was necessary so here it is. Today my husband and I came for lunch. I ordered the chicken marathon burger. It is a chicken burger stuffed with feta, spinach, roasted red peppers, and feta cheese it came with a side of Greek salad. It was beyond delicious. My husband had the bruchetta salad with chicken. He originally planned on saving the Salad but once it tasted it thay went out the window. Overall it's a family atmosphere with large portions and good prices. read more

I've been to erics a handful of times and i can say the food is very good. My first time i ordered a seafood stromboli. Holy cow it was HUGE! That was by breakfast lunch and dinner the next day. Other times i tried other menu items and they were good. Staff was pretty attentive for the most part though some didn't look so happy to be working which can ruin the atmosphere a bit. Plenty of tables to hold large parties and plenty of selections to choose from. All in all a nice place for lunch or dinner. read more
