Ordered a pizza, wings and a cheese steak. Said it was going to be 15 minutes, I go inside to pick up the order and they told me the cook wasn't satisfied with the how my pizza came out so they were making a new one. I said that was fine, I could wait. They brought my order to the car and I checked the bag and they forgot the cheesesteak. So I went back in, as I was coming out the worker was coming with another order saying he gave me the wrong order. So they let me have the old pizza for free? And I also noticed my wings were boneless on my receipt when I ordered regular. I left and got home. The cheesesteak was super soggy and cold. The boneless wings were cold. The 2nd pizza they made was the only thing that was edible. And it cost me $51... not returning!!! read more

Doesn't look great from the outside, or from the inside. Definitely used to be a 50s diner. But, the pizza is amazing. Pulled me off my local favorite. They have their own brand of sodas (which sell out quick) and they're always making little limited time items like dessert cups or fried chicken wings. Old-school mom and pop feel (the owner knows all the regulars' names) and the faces working the counter are familiar and friendly. read more

We used to always call this place the Smiley Face Restaurant. Actually, we still do. We had our breakfast here on the next-to-last day it was open for the season. They closed until the Spring on 9/3/12. It's a shame it's not open all year, as the motel next door is, because that's a long lonely stretch of road out there in the off-season. They mostly have kids working there, but our service was just alright. You could tell they were probably (not) ready to get back to school. They congregated in the back more than they waited on people, but I've had way worse service, so I'm just going to see how it is next time. It did take a little bit for our orders, and they weren't busy by this time of day. I got scrambled eggs and plain home fries, and he got a pork roll, egg & cheese sandwich, with a side of plain home fries. The prices could've been cheaper, and I will say that this place acts like a "down-the-shore" place, regarding prices and how long they're open for the year. I always found that strange. It's not even anywhere near the shore. The food was good and stuck with us (as opposed to greasy glop that upsets your stomach), and we'll go back, but we don't know when they open for the season. I guess we'll just have to see if there are any cars out front. I'd recommend it. We always look for "Old South Jersey" places like this to eat. There aren't too many left, sad to say. read more

I grew up hearing about this place, drove by it all the time. This weekend my fiancee and I finally stayed there for the night (we got a room with two beds so stop thinking we went there just to get freaky). Worst mistake ever made. The room cost my fiancee $75. RIP OFF! The room immediately smelt musty when you first walked in. Under the table I noticed a huge stain on the carpet and a bucket of "Damp Raid". Later that night I couldn't breathe through my nose. I woke up early that morning, around 6, and I still couldn't breathe through my nose and my throat was sore. My fiancee was coughing and felt sick from it as well. We left at 7am and had to go for a walk and eventually we started to feel better. NEVER GO THERE! My guess is there must be mold under the carpet. read more

Everything is really good. The omelettes are especially tasty and the service is friendly. We stop here every year on our way to OCNJ for our family vacation. I hope we get to do it again in 2013! Also the house special home fries are a must-try! read more

My wife loves this place.. she's the biggest pancake fan. So we stopped by today, and were not disappointed. Her favorite is the Elvis pancakes, made just like the King would like: peanut butter, bananas, chocolate chips and bacon bits! Amazingly, it all comes together in a delicious combination. They have many more varieties of pancakes, it's definitely worth the trip on the Black Horse Pike to Folsom. If you live in Hammonton, go there. Or if you're on the way to the shore.. stop by. Food is good BUT OMG it took so long to get and they weren't terribly busy either. The second cup of coffee was ice cold before the breakfast showed up. Even then the order wasn't correct and we had to wait even longer yet. It's a shame, the food is good but I can't recommend this place unless they can fix the issues with the kitchen.
