Their first priority was changing me too much. I didn't read enough reviews before calling. Most of their 5 star reviews are from people with 1-3 Yelp reviews. Many have no photos. This is a huge red flag for me. All I needed was the bracket bolted back on. This job would have been $50.00-$75.00 max with my other company. The owner calls and says his technician is there at 10:00am. I never agreed to 10:00 am.. I texted the day before to see if they could come after my doctor's appointment which was at 9:45am. The owner said yes. I rushed home getting there 10 minutes after the phone call. The agreement was that someone would come out after my appointment not during. I should have just sent them away when I sensed attitude on the phone. They, the owner and the technician who happens to looks just like the owner say $125. I agreed only because I wanted the job done and over with. 10:15 he started working and at 10:35 he was gone. Do yourself a favor and read the other 1 star reviews. They never told me the price was 125 before coming out. I have the text messages. Once at the house, they first asked 175 which I said was way too high. I offered 100 and they said 125. STAY AWAY ! This was our second time working with Mo. First time was back in 2017 and everything went smoothly but after this I have no idea how this company even exists. Called him to replace a door. He talked us into doing the motor as well. Said the door I wanted would take 6 weeks. Turns out as the install is happening I realized it's the wrong door. I had already paid in full. He offered me a partial refund or to wait another 6 weeks. I wanted the door I ordered so he assured me he would get the right door to just tip the installer. Six weeks come and go and crickets from Mo. After much pressing he states he didn't have money to order the door but he would that week. I did ask about a refund and he said that was not possible even though the wrong door is a cheaper door. Add another 6 weeks to the count, this time he sends the invoice. The door finally arrives and he demands we pay for installations despite being his mistake and the job paid in full. I stated I would take him to small claims court and he reconsidered. The right door was installed but he didn't bother to provide receipt or paperwork for the door. Im not sure what happened to him since the first time he worked for us but He is extremely inconsistent and will lie without a second thought. Has no regard for your time or your hard earned money. The owner Moe is the WORST!!!!! He literally threatened me multiple times when I asked him to no longer contact me!! His workmanship is garbage. This company is a joke and a rip-off to say the least! I scheduled those hours around his availability then later had to cancel multiple plans and prescheduled engagements due to the fact that he did not show up until 5 PM. In the meantime I text many times asking what was going on and when he would actually be here with the only response being, "what's ya address?" ( in his words). . By the time he showed up he stayed for all of four minutes then left with zero explanation to me regarding the issue, if he needed to get a part, or when he might be back...nothing. The property I currently reside in I rent so I contacted my landlord and made her aware of the situation and told her that I would no longer entertain the inconvenience of dealing with this company if its who she chose to go with. I then continued to message Moe simply stating that he was to no longer contact me and instead only directly contact the landlord to schedule any future appointments at a time when I was not home. He responded by telling me I didn't know who I was talking to, that I was disrespectful and that I better watch how I speak to him and never talk to him like that again!!!!! I hired them thru Home Advisor without looking at any reviews and obviously it was a mistake!!! Owner Moe came and replaced the garage door tension spring. After the replacement he adjusted only the right side of the spring and caused garage door to be unbalanced. I noticed an inch gap after I came back from my vacation. I called the Owner and he denied wrong doing or misunderstood the problem; but, luckily, I have a video footage of what he was doing from my Chamberlain/Video garage door opener. When I told him about the video, he accepted and said that he'll come back and fix the mistake that afternoon. But now, he ignores all the texts and phone calls. On the day of the service I could only be here to open and show the representative what was wrong and what need repairing, explained to him that all the wheels have been replaced and that only the bottom two have not been replaced. Pointed out the bad cable on one side and after consulting with me he would charge $200 dollars and also adjust the springs all went well I switched on the garage cameras and he did all the work and he even plugged in the freezer after he charged his drill as I requested this. Today I oiled the wheel bearings after the last service with them and found to replace the bottom wheel they forced open the track bent it and damaged it as per the images. After contacting this owner and explained the damage he went off making remarks about my wife what kind of person I am cause I pointed out that he damaged my property after he made a repair. I had this company install a garage door opener and it never worked. The Owner Moe told me that because I posted a negative review on YELP he would not fix it for me. This company uses non-certified installers so now Chamberlain is giving me problems fixing it. I found the problem myself. The garage door tensioner was installed improperly. There is no support for it and instead of installing it correctly this companies installer just jammed it open against the door rail. Chamberlain has agreed to fix this for me for free and is sending out a properly trained installer. Don't waste time and money with these guys it's just not worth it. What a nice surprise! I've been having garage door issues for a couple of months. When I finally had the chance I did a little research here on Yelp and found First Priority Garage. They accommodated me that same day and worked with me on a good appointment time for me. They did an assessment and found the biggest need was a quick adjustment to the automatic door opener. They then gave me a quote on a few door springs and told me to call when I was ready. After some good maintenance advice they said there was no charge. WHAT no charge?!?! Even though their visit was quick I'm truly appreciative of their honest approach. They were not looking to make a quick buck. I will surely call when I'm ready for those springs or any other future work I need on my garage. Update: I needed those springs and the second visit was just as good as the first. I rarely leave Yelp reviews, but Moe's attitude and workmanship is really remarkable. I text messaged him pictures of a problem late in the evening one night and got a quote back in minutes. A few days later (after much back-and-forth conversation) he showed up and fixed it within 20 minutes. They are very busy but once they show up they get the job done quickly and efficiently. Moe and his brother know what they are doing and are honest. They're also much cheaper than any other company around. This company is amazing. The team came onsite same day as receiving my call for help. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my 12 year old screw drive motor providing multiple options for resolution. Within a hour, the guys removed old unit and installed a brand new belt driven system including remotes. The guys also noticed the wheels were worn out possibly causing further damage. Now our garage door works with hardly any noise. There are three things I liked most about working with First Priority. Their ability to communicate, showing up within installation window and completing the job beyond expectations (now runs silent). The company installed a new garage door motor and cables for me in April 2018. Cost of the repairs was $742. In November, 2018, the garage door unit broke. After several phone conversations and requests for attention, the company did not repair, replace, or make any offer to mitigate my losses. I found another company, which replaced the broken motor and installed new cabled (again). The price from the other company: $596. Initially we had a good experience with this company. We had 2 new garage door Liftmasters and a new outside panel installed in late January. Less than 2 weeks later, we had to have the cables replaced (they weren't included in original install but expensive addition!) In late March, our new outside panel quit working. I went on your site to look for garage door repair in my area.  The owner of this company Moe called and came over within the hour on Sunday.  He gave us a price quote to replace both springs with the exact replacement springs on Monday after 5pm.  Moe was busy and we were free all day Tuesday, so Moe said he would send a technician out Tuesday.  The technician called and my husband questioned the spring size as we wanted an exact size replacement, the technician stated that he did not have that size.  My husband told him that is not was agreed upon with Moe.  The technician called Moe, who in-turn called my husband.  The owner said "you are not allowing my technician to come?" My husband explained to him that he did not have the same spring we have and we discussed a direct replacement.  Moe got very mad and stated that the spring he had would work fine.  My husband stated he wanted the stronger spring as agreed upon and was getting nowhere so he told Moe "sorry I wasted your time, have a nice day".  As my husband was hang up owner said "piece of shit". i have the texts sent by the owner. Stay away from this company he was caught stealing from our garage. My wife called the number on the garage door and moe answered the call. My wife was there by herself and he gave her a price of $700 to replace 2 springs. She calls me and I stated $700 does not seem right for two springs. I asked a co worker of mine and he stated he had his double car garage spring replaced for $300. We told him no thank you and automatically brought the price down to $450. Only reason we agreed to the cost was because he was already there and needed the garage door functioning. He asked if we can pay cash which makes sense as his corporation hasn't been active in the state of Florida since 2018. Both corporations under his name are inactive. He will give you the spill the springs have lifetime warranty and 5 year craftmanship warranty. After reviewing many complaints about not honoring the warranty it makes perfect sense, he doesn't have an active corporation what are you going after. It get worse, my wife sees him through the camera taking one of our ladders along with a drill bag that looks exactly like ours. My wife calls him out on the ladder and drill, he tries to give her an excuse it looked like his. The drill he showed her looked nothing like ours and our bag was on a shelf away from the area he was working at. Moe is a thief and he will try to rip you off. read more

This is worst company I had to deal with. They overcharged by $700.00. They installed a new opener when they could have changed the motor because it had a lifetime guarantee. They could-not program the blue tooth so the owner said he would replace it with a better opener. He didn't show up 3 times. And now he said he is not going to do it.
