He eventually called me back about a week later, by which point I had already gone somewhere else and had the service done. When he called, I told him that I didn't remember why I had called because it had been about a week and I had already taken care of the matter elsewhere. Instead of simply explaining what the call was regarding, he responded in an incredibly rude and condescending tone, saying, "You don't even remember why you called?" I asked if he was calling regarding the service I had originally been trying to ask about, and he responded, "We don't even offer that here," in an unnecessarily hostile and disrespectful tone. Before I could even respond or finish speaking, he hung up on me. I understand that businesses don't offer every service, and that is completely fine. What is not acceptable is treating someone who is simply trying to communicate with you like they are an inconvenience. There are professional and respectful ways to handle a phone call, even if you cannot provide the service someone is looking for. The fact that this interaction came from someone running his own business makes it even more disappointing. If this is how potential customers are treated before they even have the opportunity to become clients, I would absolutely not feel comfortable giving this business my money or trusting them with my care. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
