Perez Auto saved my day! I was on a road trip from Denver to Milwaukee when my brakes started…read moremaking an awful noise. I stopped at an O'Reilly's in Lincoln who recommended Perez Auto and the owner saw that one of my brake pads had worn down so much that it was damaging the rotor. He was able to get the parts quickly at 8pm and replace the brake pads and rotor at an extremely reasonable price. He was very friendly and I was thankful to find a local auto shop who didn't try to overcharge someone who needed help quickly on the road.

I believe the owner, Al Perez, purposely messed up my car when test driving it. I paid him to put…read moretwo struts on it, and then asked him to test drive it afterwards. When he did so (alone) he was gone (test driving my car) for about 15 minutes, a ridiculously long time, and after he returned my car was extremely hot, as if it had been driven two hours, and I continued to have heating issues with my car every since, with the temp. gauge inside the car now not working (although it did before). This did not exist before Perez test drove it and my car had NO heating issues before I took my car to Perez but after he test drove it for 15 minutes, these problems immediately existed. I'm sure Perez did something to it while he was test driving it. Although I've talked to him about this, he dismissed it and denied doing anything but I know he did. My car was fine until after he test drove it. There is something wrong with this man. I'm also aware he never gives people a receipt for work done and when I asked for one, he gave me something handwritten that showed work he did but it did not show that I paid him cash for the work, as a receipt should show. I don't think this man pays tax to anyone and this is why I believe he doesn't give receipts for work done or money received. This would be proof that he's received money. Stay away from this place. This man is corrupt, and my car was "ruined" by him. I brought him a car with no heating issues and took back a car that had this. This can't be coincidental.

If it's an emergency they will try to put your car back together if you need it (if they can.) They just try to get you driving again which is what I love about this place.
