Flickering lights, outlets that were blowing and a sizzling electrical panel demanded quick attention and Bayval Electric were one of four companies who we asked for a bid from for the job. Bayval Electric was our first choice very quickly due to their timely response to come out and they were the first to get a detailed bid quote to us, despite being the third to look at the job. They were also a couple thousand dollars less than the highest bidder. Communication and professionalism was outstanding throughout the entire job. They answered every question, were always on time and demonstrate a meticulous work ethic. At the very beginning Bayval Electric knew exactly what was required to get Modesto City permits and coordinated with MID to complete the work in a timely manner that was a week ahead of the original schedule. They went above and beyond to ensure that the job was done right and in addition to the required work, they eliminated a fire hazard in the house by replacing an outdated screw-in fuse panel and pulled new lines back to the new main panel. They also ran additional grounding lines to the natural gas and water service entrances to further protect the house from lightning strikes. Bayval Electric identified and corrected an installation error on a previous electrical EV charging line done by a different electrical company. We will call them first, without question if we ever need any electrical work. Our home is up to code and we feel so safe due to the diligence and expertise of their work. He registered and set up the charger with Tesla, and showed me how to utilize key parts of the app (while we tested the charger and saw it quickly reach the unit's full capacity of 11.5 kW) with some nice recommendations. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of work, and the finished product looks great.
