On the block where I live, my neighbors have more than a few visitors that park as they please. Sometimes they block my entry into the driveway or other times I have to carefully maneuver my vehicle through the limited space I'm faced with. This time during the maneuvering I heard a noise. I happened to pass too close to the wooden gate. Total shock followed by anger took over me when I stepped out and noticed not only a scratch on the front bumper, but an open tear as well. I will spare you the aftermath of my emotions and fast forward to how I ended up at Gold Coast Collision Center located along S. Dixie Highway. I found this small paint and body shop through Yelp search. I met the owner who was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable about the work and labor that has to be done. Since the damage on my vehicle was minimal, I was told to bring it by the next day and the work should be completed within 24 hours. 24 hours later.... I arrived at the shop within two hours after receiving a phone call informing me that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. The owner was not there, but I met an associate of his who took me into the work area to take a look at my baby. I was speechless and very happy at what I was seeing. The scratch and tear was gone like it was never there. They 100% matched the color and the gloss of the paint was exactly how it looked the day I drove it out of the dealership. I really appreciate the swift and efficient work the guys at Gold Coast Collision Center has done. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing paint and body work. They work with all insurance companies.

You said you would get us something stating the damage on top of car was not collision damage. We forgot verification after car was completed and we picked it up. Weeks later I called Gary's on phone to get new receipt stating, OBVIOUSLY not collision damage, and that's what was told to Gary's before repair. Gary's owner said he would email me a new receipt with non collision statement. A month went by and nothing! We called a final time. Gary's owner stated, "I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH DOING THAT". Why did he say one thing and after paid not follow say another??? We wouldn't have used Gary's for that reason not to mention work was poor.

To the manager or owner (the one with the cute man bun)…read more Let's start here,I walked into your shop and the first thing I noticed wasn't the cars. It was your employees. They looked absolutely drained, like they were walking on eggshells. Then I watched you, the way you talked to them, the way you carried yourself. And the moment you opened your mouth to speak to my fiancé and me, your energy confirmed it all: arrogant, condescending, and dismissive. You asked how you could help then acted like our decision to think before committing was some kind of personal attack. Let's be honest: your reaction wasn't about the insurance. It wasn't about the process. You were just salty we didn't pick your shop right away. You let your ego take the wheel. We simply said we wanted a minute to talk things over, like any normal person would. Instead of respecting that, you got defensive. You basically told us if we left, you didn't want our business at all. That's not confidence that's insecurity masked as control. A real leader wouldn't fold just because someone didn't immediately say yes. A real professional knows how to keep their cool. The only reason I didn't walk back in there and tell you all of this to your face is because I've grown. But don't get it twisted it took everything in me not to, that's why I we spend so much time outside. So here's a little advice: Pick up "How to Win Friends and Influence People" book , Might be the most valuable thing you ever learn because right now, your people skills are stuck in reverse and so as your leadership. Do better.
