I found ESBI international salon after my cancer battle. I was left with extremely thin and damaged hair post chemotherapy. The damage and random bald spots were permanent. The Chemogirls extensions were the only answer to restore my hair. These extensions are non damaging to the fine brittle hair, as they are held with a tree sap bond. Its an amazing process. I was so relieved to find that I could once again have a beautiful head of thick long hair, that I would actually get compliments on. I finally felt like myself again after all of the cancer treatments. I have been doing these extensions with Cheryl at ESBI since 2018. I will need this service a lifetime. Her skills are amazing and am so grateful to have found her and her salon. The staff, salon and Cheryl are top notch. I have been getting my hair colored and cut for over 30 years at ESBI. My stylist is Cheryl. I make my appointments every month for a year. If I am unable to make my appt I cancel per policy and am offered another stylist if Cheryl is booked. All the stylists are taught amazing color. Their color and products are 100% top grade!! Cheryl was trained from specialists all over the world! She has been a leading teacher on cutting edge color and cuts!! Her staff is continually learning new techniques from her. Cheryl and her team are amazing. I walk in for my appointment and there is always someone there to greet me with a smile, offer me coffee, tea or water and of course a cookie. They are always dressed professionally and it is a high class, clean, professional environment. Every time I am there, I am told how beautiful I am, how nice I look and I always feel very welcome. I feel it is a fabulous place to go spend a little while to just get a haircut or a day to also get your lashes, nails and a facial. I had my hair cut here about 3 years ago. I don't remember the name of the woman who cut my hair (she was heavy set, tall with red/orange/pinkish long wavy hair), but she was so rude and hurtful I still think about it years later. She insulted my hair cut, my natural hair color and thickness of my hair, but not once --repeatedly throughout this 45-minute ordeal. I just went in for a trim. Nothing grand, just a trim. I had to fight back tears as I walked to my car. Anyone who talks like that to a customer should be fired. It's not OK. read more

The salon is beautiful and the staff is so sweet. Elina is absolutely amazing !!! She is a complete pro with a blow dryer and will give you the best hair style ever. My hair was so dry and dead and by the time she was done it was soft, smooth, and so much volume ! Elina is fabulous. read more

I received a gift certificate for Esbi salon from a silent auction at a fundraiser. The certificate was a $130 value and was good for a highlight & haircut with Patty. The certificate was only good for a 6 month period of time and I called within the last month. When I called to make an appointment I was told that Patty was no longer with the company and that the owner would call me back. The owner called me back 3 days later to tell me that he was the only one that would be able to honor the certificate. The owner then stated that he was booked for the rest of the month. I am shocked that he wouldn't arrange for someone else to take me or fit me in. They must not care about gaining a new customer. Based on their lack of customer service I would never come here again. read more

Let me start by saying, I have a serious problem letting people cut my hair. I've had horrible experiences and my skepticism for stylists is astronomical. Finally, through much trial and horrible error with salons, I came across the wonderful Danielle at ESBI salon. She is able to tell me exactly what I need done and execute it very well. Which is really all I'm looking for from these people. She has talked me out of rash hair decisions and I'm extremely thankful for that. I'm confident going in there that my hair will look great when I walk out. If she ever left, I have no idea what I would do. I won't let anyone else touch my hair. It can be a little pricey, but I think it's worth it if you don't look like you had a three year old cut your bangs (Which has happened at a salon that shall remain nameless...). Spend the money and look great. Everyone is very nice and the shop is well kept. read more

The training and out-of-the-box thinking of this salon really sets them apart. They truly do have innovative coloring techniques and cutting styles - they never let you leave with a wet head after a cut because it is not finished. They take the time to go through the hair, fully blown dry and styled - and they take out weight and make sure its all even. The way they hilight is just...out of this world - no one else does it this way - and if youre still getting packets done - youre in the stone age. This salon is good with everything except for bangs. I got my bangs cut here twice and the first time it was a minor fixable issue but the second time I was really disappointed because it was way shorter than what I said that I wanted I didn't even know if they listened to what I told them. read more

It is so nice to have such a high class salon nearby. I trust them completely and I am VERY picky with who I let touch my hair. Having thick hair can sometimes be a pain but these people really know what they are doing! Everyone is trained by the owner himself. They use styling techniques from Europe and the end result is beautiful. I have gone there multiple times for highlights and haircuts and will continue to be a loyal customer. They used to be in Strongsville but moved to brunswick for a new location and more space that can handle all their business. It's very nicely decorated and they usually have current pop music playing. It's really a great place to feel like you're being pampered and get some quality "me time"! read more

Each stylist is trained by the owner's Nucchio and Cheryl Baslisco so I can honestly say that they all do a fantastic job! The new shop is Brunswick is artistic and beautiful! You must see it. Every time I come here I am extremely disappointed. One time I went there to get my hair dyed and the stylist was extremely rough with my scalp. She pounded the dye brush onto my head and I actually got a burning sensation. The second time I went to another stylist hoping I would have a better experience. I went there to get a very long bob. I showed the picture to the stylist maybe 6 times and she cut off maybe 5 more inches than I said to. It looks nothing like the picture and now my hair looks completely awful. She even asked if I wanted bangs and I said "no". By the end of the session she said "let me fix up the bangs". She gave me side bangs when I specifically said not to!!! This place is overpriced and the workers do NOT listen to their costumers. I have no idea what to do because my hair is ruined now. read more

ESBI made us all look great for my June 11th wedding. My Mom's hair was spot on, my brother's difficult cut was cleaned up nicely and my upstyle was AMAZING! It stayed in securely all night and didn't go flat. Thank you to Jenny who made me look exactly how I had envisioned and feel not only incredibly comfortable, but beautiful. I go here and get a spray tan by Kristine every once in a while. I'm a very pale person so I want something natural not orange. Kristine and her sister Justine rent out their own room in ESBI and only uses organic products. My spray comes out looking natural and lasts for a couple weeks. Kristine is knowledgeable about the products and how to take care of the spray as well. read more

If you are looking for a stylist who does not listen or pay attention than this is the place for you. Was looking for a new stylist closer to our house since we moved. Decided on Esbi and came armed with laptop, photo albums and phone pictures so the stylist would know EXACTLY what I expected to look like when I left, so we would not have any miscommunication. When I arrived, my hair was WELL below my shoulders. I was using 1 1/2" curling iron to style it. Nuccio told me he was certain that he could achieve the look I was after. I left there crying all the way home because I expected long, layered, texturized, bouncy hair. My husband & I are both horrified. I came home with my hair WELL above my shoulders. I am struggling to get it in my curling iron because it is so short. My hair has not been this short in over 35 years. Never again. I should have just driven the hour away to go to my old stylist. I will be going back to her but my hair will not need to be cut anytime soon. What a waste of money this place turned out to be. I actually paid them to make me look like the dutch boy on the paint can when I specifically mentioned that I did not like a square, short haircut but wanted layered and the ability to wear it with height. I couldn't put my hair in a ponytail if I tried, that is how short it is. Save your money please. I don't want anyone else crying over their hair. I would give this no stars if I could. I do not know what to do because to "fix" my hair I have to wait a year till it grows out again. Disappointed is an understatement. They say word of mouth is the best advertising so I have told everyone who asks me what the heck happened to my hair & why did I cut it so short, exactly how I feel about this salon and how horrible my hair looks. I don't think any of my Brunswick, Strongsville, Valley City friends will be going here. read more

GREAT salon!!! Its very classy and feels relaxing. Very clean...both the workers and the place. The stylists are very up to date on all the most recent techniques. All the equipment is up to date and kept up. The staff is all very kind from the front desk people to the cleaning crew. They allow time for each client and don't rush. They always style your hair at the end so that you are free to enjoy your day :) read more

They do a really nice job every time. The process for coloring/highlighting doesn't dry out my hair like other salons. I get compliments all the time on how nice the color is. Everyone very friendly. Would recommend it to anyone. My husband gets his cut there also read more

For the amount of money I pay to have my hair done there, I have a huge problem with the stylist "double booking" appointments. A one hour apt turns into 2 hours, because she is bouncing back and forth between me and someone else. It makes me feel like my time isn't important enough to her. Time to find another stylist. read more
