This was my first sugaring experience. I had my lip and chin done. The pain is no different than waxing, a little less probably. The cool sugar is soothing as opposed to the hot wax that can burn. There are no strips, just a ball of sugar that is almost rolled over the area. It's not a "one and done" pull like with waxing. There are some areas that take a couple passes, but it's not like in waxing where the more rips the more pain. The redness was the same as waxing but disappeared sooner. Kyarra did my sugaring and she is a good soul. I will return for my in between waxes when I can't get into my regular place. It's only $25 but gas prices are so high that I find myself choosing to get a $1.00 gallon of water instead of the normal $3.49 pack of like 20. She did a great and thorough job and spent more time to take off my gel polish which was really nice (can be a huge pain!). My toes look good I just wish she would have spent more time using the buffer and callous remover on my heels and balls of my feet. She literally did two seconds on each foot which was kind of surprising considering paying $70 for a pedicure with regular polish. I'd come back and just ask to really get the bottom of my feet more.
