I stopped by this establishment recently and had an experience that stuck with me for all the wrong reasons. As a United States Marine, I'm always looking to connect with individuals who show discipline, work ethic, and potential. Especially those already working demanding roles like security and bouncing. While there, I struck up a respectful conversation with one of the bouncers. The goal wasn't to sell anything or pressure him, but simply to open the door to another opportunity. One that could build on the skills he's already using every day: leadership, physical readiness, decision-making under pressure, and long-term career development. Unfortunately, the conversation was immediately met with hostility. Before I could even properly explain, I was told to leave. What followed went beyond unprofessional. it turned physical. I was forcibly removed and assaulted on the way out. That kind of response says a lot about the environment being fostered here. There's a difference between declining a conversation and resorting to aggression. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect shown by the staff was disappointing, especially from individuals in positions meant to maintain order and safety. It's unfortunate, because the opportunity I was offering could have genuinely benefited someone looking to grow, challenge themselves, and build a stronger future. Not everyone is open to that and that's fine but how you handle that moment matters. I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff engages with people. There's potential in places like this--not just for business, but for the people working there. Right now, it's being overshadowed by poor judgment and unnecessary aggression. Don't get me started with the "professionals" the Harris county Sheriff's or whatever they are , did not uphold the standards as well, while also harassing me and making me feel uncomfortable about the situation when I needed help as an assaulted victim. No wonder their crime rate is at an all time high and they did not look the part to even be officers being over weight . Only one female sheriff demonstrated Professionalism, integrity, and respect but was not able to help in this situation. Overall experience piss pore and unsatisfactory. They should uphold the standards as the keepers of the people's rights. What a disappointment. read more

As a venue its really nice! Food outside, music bangin on the inside. Honestly, inside is really clean and the bathrooms are even cleaner! This is primarily a latin club, I came out to see Deorro but honestly the vibes were pretty alright! Compared to normal edm clubs like stereo or 9pm, ppl will actually dance with you. Love that parking is free on top of things. If there were more edm events, i'll probably come out more often... but it seems on their website their mainstay is strictly latin music. It's packed!! Arrive earlier for parking. Be patient. Be ready to pay for entry. Lines for the bar are always long and bartenders are the least enthused people you will meet. Be ready to order and keep it simple. Love the different music in each room. We tried it all several times. The bartenders ain't sh**. If you are not a guy they will not acknowledge you. They will over charger the bill, adding a tip for them selves. The music is good. The dance floor gets a little crowded, but everyone is super nice girls take care of girls. And guys in a way are respectful: this place wouldn't be so bad if they would focus on the bartenders and making sure that everyone is getting a drink with out spending so much money. The managers need ti also put more tables; i know there is more tables in the bad and they wont put them out. (If people are comfortable they will spend more money) read more

When I saw their website, I figured they used the same web page for both clubs but that they were far apart from each other. Turns out, they're right next to each other. 2006 is to the right of 2001. There are two dance floors, two levels on each side of the club. The dance floor to the left plays music in English, it's the first to fill up and it gets full. The dance floor on the right plays music in Spanish. Rap, bachata, salsa, merengue, and punta are some of the music genres played in Spanish at 2006. Given that it was the Friday before 4th of July. They were handing out glow sticks with patriotic colors. People were so creative with them. Some turned them into bracelets, anklets, necklaces, halos, belts, and some just swung them around for fun. I ordered a pina colada. A red syrup was placed at the bottom and along the shaft of the glass, before the pina colada was poured in. It was topped off with three tasty cherries. It set me back about 7 bucks. I had a blast dancing with friends. In between dancing, we watched others dance and we chatted amongst ourselves. I played with the escapade matches on our table, the best friend joined in. We disposed of them in the ashtray. At one point, a white light was turned on. It was as if the papparazi has entered the dance floor. A bright light would turn on, light a flash light, every .5 seconds over the dance floors for 30 seconds. It was cool but bright. The dance floor on the left has a circle of flat screen TVs, playing music videos. Every now in then you see female dancers. I figure they were patrons, rather than go go dancers. The crowd was 20-30 something, fashion-forward and nice. It was a great experience overall. We headed out about 1:00am, before the crowds headed out. Though I was initially reluctant to going out, I gave into my best guy friend's invite to Escapade 2006. I've never been to a foam party; I'd like to come back for one of those nights. read more

This is my first time at Escapade in Houston . We are for Dallas and we enjoy the escapades in Dallas area . I was so disappointed to see that this facility allows smoking ! As soon as I hit the bar area I could smell the stench in the air. I don't understand why people cannot stop smoking for the 3-4 hrs they dance . Management I will never be back with my group of friends until you prohibit smoking and allow for a healthy atmosphere of fun and dance . I should not be forced to breathe in that smoke in my lungs . Absolutely terrible at the end of the night. We were holding a drink for a friend that needed to go to the restroom. Bouncer takes the drink from my hand and throws it away. Asked me to leave immediately. I asked for my money back seeing as how the drink was still full. He didn't want to deal with me at the end of the night I guess and was escorted out. If you are going to implement that policy post it everywhere and for everyone to see. I'm owed $15 dollars in drinks because this guy decided all of s sudden to be all high and mighty. OK, so you wouldn't think an Asian chick would enjoy coming to a largely Hispanic-music, Hispanic-attended nightclub... And OK, sometimes the polka-infused banda music, huge wall-sized screens, and circling of the dance floor had me thinking it was the 7th circle of hell... But all in all I had a REALLY fun night! - we didn't pay cover because we found a birthday party gang who were getting in free. yow!! - $1 domestic beers - didn't go to the other rooms, just stayed on the large, banda dance floor: when banda played, everyone would circle the edge of the dance floor like a huge lazy Susan. Then, when a top 40 song came on, we took a break and just grinded wherever we wanted. - the crowd age range was pretty young, though I had an under-21 ask me to dance which was argh. I went here for the first time on Saturday and i had so much fun! Only giving it 3 stars because they charged me and my friends $17/person to get in EVEN THOUGH it said ladies get in free before 11pm. It was probably 10:30 when we tried to get in. Besides that Everyone was so kind despite some dirty looks from some girls. The music and scene overall was great and the tacos in the front are so good too! Escapade 2001, was actually pretty chill. I went Friday night 3-2-18. They played really good Mexican music, as well as Reggaeton. The only downside was, the security kept getting all up in everyone's shit. Other than that, if you can dance to Spanish music, I recommend this place. read more

This place is made only thinking about generating money for the owners. They have no stools whatsoever for you to sit unless you are in a VIP area for which you have to pay bottle service on. The whole club stinks like cigarette so regardless if you smoke or not you will end up coming out of there stinking for days not to mention the restrooms are a disaster over all good music but bad everything else :( read more

What can I say, my first time going it was definitely worth it I had lots of fun but that's because I was a bit high haha, other than that you should definitely take a dance partner because most females are stuck up but not that cute either way. The men are usually about 25 or older and look like pervs. I'm just a 19 year old that went to have fun despite the fact I was rejected by 5 different girls. If you want a sophisticated, classy atmosphere, then this place is not for you. Upon entering Escapade 2001 you will be greeted by a sea of cowboy hats, pointy boots, sky-high heels, and scantily clad ladies. There is smoke everywhere, beer bottles on the ground, and an overabundance of men just standing near the periphery of the dance floor. Despite all of this, I don't know any other place where you will experience such a large gathering of the "Norteña" Hispanic community. This venue is MASSIVE, with the main dance floor on the downstairs and several smaller dance floors on the second floor. They play norteñas, cumbia, salsa, merengue, rock en español, top 40's.... etc. I like this place because essentially you get to experience 4 clubs all at once. I typically jump around from one dance floor to the other throughout the night. As for drink prices, they are expensive, but so far I've never been anywhere where I thought the drinks were cheap. Overall if you come with an open mind, and drink several tequila shots then you can definitely enjoy yourself here. read more

At first appearances, place is huge, plenty of parking, lighting, clean space. I'll admit it is appealing with the flashing lights and loud music to get you in the mood. Plenty of security (OUTSIDE) none inside. Most nights its a rush of people to get inside before 11pm when admission stops being free. However, once inside, I was shocked at the business ethics allowed in this place. First of all since when do the bartenders help themselves to your change? I witnessed this first hand over and over again; and saw how after every drink the bartender(s) would take the customer's change and put it inside their tip jar and AFTER THE FACT, ask the customer waiting in a line of about 5 behind them if this "was ok" with them? No its not ok to steal people's money. This is a huge turn off for me. Another one is the fact that when they "advertise" a major band/group, that particular band does not actually come out to play earlier than midnight. Then you can expect to hear about 5 of their new songs, most of which will be unknown because they are trying to get PR for their new album. Another turn off. Looking for a table, stop looking there wont be any. Trying to dance, go to the back of the dance floor because the front half is taken by people standing and observing the band play. Big dance floor, be careful with all the littered beer bottles on the dance floor. They wont be picked up. read more

It gets too hot in here with the big crowds, this is where you spend all your money for drinks. Customers are rude and don't say excuse me if they need to get thru. Bartenders expect an automatic tip even for water by placing your change in the jar without asking you. Customers get into too many fights and the ladies wear their dresses up to their ass, very indecent. Only cash accepted at the bar. read more
