Line dancing view from second floor

This place was SO MUCH FUN!! I'm relatively new to Houston and I honestly haven't been to many Texas or country bars. This place was definitely the experience I needed. It's kind of like a night club with a very country feel. There was lots of partner dancing, line dancing, and over all fun. The DJ played a good mix of current rap and pop songs and old and new country. There is an upstairs with karaoke and a FREE mechanical bull off to the side. There were lots of bars around the place to order from, so we didn't have to wait very long for any of our drinks. I will definitely be bringing friends and family that come to visit so they can have this country experience too.

    Bull ride anyone?

First time here since it was renamed Sampede. Came out to celebrate a birthday and the place accommodated 10 of us. There was never a dull moment and kids didn't get board. There is also a mechanical bull. Enterance for ladies that night was free before 11pm or free if you wore Astros gear. Ages 18 and up welcomed. There is a food tent as well and cards are accepted. The layout was pretty cool, clean and kept kids entertained. All generes were played but mostly country. It was a fun night.

I am very disappointed in this establishment. We were turned away due to my husband having holes in his jeans which NO skin was shown! In your "policy" it says "unless" the jeans were designed that way. No skin what so ever was shown! Honestly this is a form of discrimination! You allow women to wear jeans with holes, but not men, I would love a clear reason as to why holes in jeans have anything to do with not having access to enter into an establishment!

    Ripped jeans

This place wouldn't let me in for jeans that have holes in them, even though the jeans are stitched the way they are & there's no actually skin showing. "New management" is the excuse they gave me, & I watched another gentlemen get in with similar holes in his jeans, but they didn't want to let me in because my holes were "excessive" even though the website says as long as the holes are stitched that way there's no issues. Overall this place is annoying & can't follow their own rules posted on the website. Would not recommend, only show favorites towards women with ass showing

Had an amazing time at the Stampede! Came here for a conference and got the opportunity to enjoy the night life while in Houston. Never thought anyone could possibly get me on the mechanical bull but, I did it! ‍ I sure had a blast! The food was great and loved the dueling piano! Of course, I can resist dancing it up!

Very big club was great there was karaoke poker and Bull ride I didn't get on the bull ride because my hair piece wasn't secure lol. It's complementary to give the the guy a tip they help you on the bull and control the ride. It was a mixed crowed that night but mainly white a Hispanic. I would definitely there is another club beside it that they own and have the same parking lot with but it holds more of a Hispanic crowd. I think a concert was going on the night I went. To give you a outlook of how people love this club it was off and on rains and people still showed up. I will definitely go there another day to do karaoke but not anytime soon I it's too far from my house.

Recently, I flew to Houston to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend and his family (my boyfriend and his dad have birthdays close to mine). On my special day, we asked locals for a good place to have a night out and they recommended Stampede. This hall was, for a lack of a better word, the most awesomest highlight of our trip. Cover included free mechanical bull rides all night as well as billiards. Coming from California where clubs are small and cramped, this huge location was a breathe of fresh air (figuratively as they actually allowed smoking inside). The bartenders were friendly and the music was fun. Definitely a place worth visiting for a good night out.

This place would be good if the beer line didn't take 45 minutes. Not sure why there are not more waitresses, beer stations or bartenders.

Everyone here either greeted with a smile or greeted with a hi. That's right, leave your worries home, and any bitterness you have on your chest, cause this isn't the place for it. Food is ordered downstairs but they bring it to you wherever. But drinks can be ordered any area in here. MULTIPLE BARS INSIDE A BAR. Steak was tender. But wanted Medium well, it was more like Medium, but turned out better than I normally thought. Seasoned, butter and savory hands down, and potatoes was well done, and fully loaded. Drinks were stiff here as well. I can only imagine a Fri-Sun night... more crowded, probably standing at times for a seat. Parking lot is first come first serve, very limited. And of course parking near Shipley Donuts when they're closed, in case full, just another secondary. I would really recommend this place if you like enjoying outdoor eating and music with a crowd. This is a real bar, no questions. Must try on your bucket list.

As a United States Marine, I'm always looking to connect with individuals who show discipline, work ethic, and potential. Especially those already working demanding roles like security and bouncing. While there, I struck up a respectful conversation with one of the bouncers. The goal wasn't to sell anything or pressure him, but simply to open the door to another opportunity. One that could build on the skills he's already using every day: leadership, physical readiness, decision-making under pressure, and long-term career development. Unfortunately, the conversation was immediately met with hostility. Before I could even properly explain, I was told to leave. What followed went beyond unprofessional. it turned physical. I was forcibly removed and assaulted on the way out. That kind of response says a lot about the environment being fostered here. There's a difference between declining a conversation and resorting to aggression. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect shown by the staff was disappointing, especially from individuals in positions meant to maintain order and safety. It's unfortunate, because the opportunity I was offering could have genuinely benefited someone looking to grow, challenge themselves, and build a stronger future. Not everyone is open to that and that's fine but how you handle that moment matters. I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff engages with people. There's potential in places like this--not just for business, but for the people working there. Right now, it's being overshadowed by poor judgment and unnecessary aggression. Don't get me started with the "professionals" the Harris county Sheriff's or whatever they are , did not uphold the standards as well, while also harassing me and making me feel uncomfortable about the situation when I needed help as an assaulted victim. No wonder their crime rate is at an all time high and they did not look the part to even be officers being over weight . Only one female sheriff demonstrated Professionalism, integrity, and respect but was not able to help in this situation. Overall experience piss pore and unsatisfactory. They should uphold the standards as the keepers of the people's rights. What a disappointment.

We also got the shishito peppers and melted cheese dish (I've forgotten the name at the moment), which was all recommended by Scott, who welcomed us upon our arrival and didn't leave our side throughout the whole dinner. He was amazing. and moderately funny with his jokes! :) We then had the mussels and shrimp in curry sauce (10 out of 10). The entrees were the pork chop, the lamb chops, and the short rib and were all 10 out of 10. The only complaint is that we were too full to try dessert! So if you haven't been, you better go. The food is truly amazing.
