As a United States Marine, I'm always looking to connect with individuals who show discipline, work ethic, and potential. Especially those already working demanding roles like security and bouncing. While there, I struck up a respectful conversation with one of the bouncers. The goal wasn't to sell anything or pressure him, but simply to open the door to another opportunity. One that could build on the skills he's already using every day: leadership, physical readiness, decision-making under pressure, and long-term career development. Unfortunately, the conversation was immediately met with hostility. Before I could even properly explain, I was told to leave. What followed went beyond unprofessional. it turned physical. I was forcibly removed and assaulted on the way out. That kind of response says a lot about the environment being fostered here. There's a difference between declining a conversation and resorting to aggression. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect shown by the staff was disappointing, especially from individuals in positions meant to maintain order and safety. It's unfortunate, because the opportunity I was offering could have genuinely benefited someone looking to grow, challenge themselves, and build a stronger future. Not everyone is open to that and that's fine but how you handle that moment matters. I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff engages with people. There's potential in places like this--not just for business, but for the people working there. Right now, it's being overshadowed by poor judgment and unnecessary aggression. Don't get me started with the "professionals" the Harris county Sheriff's or whatever they are , did not uphold the standards as well, while also harassing me and making me feel uncomfortable about the situation when I needed help as an assaulted victim. No wonder their crime rate is at an all time high and they did not look the part to even be officers being over weight . Only one female sheriff demonstrated Professionalism, integrity, and respect but was not able to help in this situation. Overall experience piss pore and unsatisfactory. They should uphold the standards as the keepers of the people's rights. What a disappointment.

The dance floor is full of life. Young and old, colorful, vibrant personalities of all shapes, sizes and depths come here to let loose and just have FUN! A night very much needed on my end. Every one is care free and dancing the night away. My feet were so swollen after a fun filled night here that I could hardly walk the next day. Every time I have been with friends someone gets kicked out for a dumb reason and yesterday I was kicked out 30 minutes from close because I sat down on a bench outside and used my inhaler for my ASTHMA literally a life saving device, after being in the pit for over 30 minutes. He even knocked it out of my hand and I had to use my phone as a flashlight to find the pod while he stood over me and wouldn't let me go back inside to even find my dd or let my friend go into to find him. The staff is ableist and not understanding in the slightest and won't listen to reason even when you're even a little intoxicated. One of my other friends got kicked out one time for tripping. So I would only go here if you have no intention of having any type of human needs. I would also like to point out there was someone on the patio literally passed out on the patio that they deemed allowed to stay. I'm extremely disappointed in the staff for turning one of my favorite places in Houston into the worst experience I've ever had with a staff member at a bar or a club.

Shoutout to Sammy the bartender, you absolutely killed it! Not only were the drinks great, but your singing was incredible too. You were seriously multitasking like a pro. I like how the instructor talks about the steps on the mic but there are people positioned throughout the dance floor who know the dance who you can follow. We stopped by with a few of our friends who come more regularly and have mastered some of the dances! Some are more complicated than others but in general these are fairly tricky dances. There's a website you can use to practice the dances at home to prepare for each week. After the lesson there is more open dancing and they play various line dance songs for anyone to join. They also include the song that was covered during the lesson. It's fun to watch - so many folks here are really talented. We only bought some waters and did not try any of the drinks so I can't comment on those. Service was good and the lines at the bar move pretty quickly. We've already been talking about going back here to check out another line dancing class! Would definitely recommend.
