The AC doesn't work and there is holes in the dance floor. A little TLC and this place found a lot better.

A throwback dive bar exactly as it should be. We don't have many of these any longer.

The venue is intimate, the acts they book are hard and thunderous, and the drink prices are ridiculously good. Parking is the only sore spot. But I enjoyed everything about this place. For a town with a nightlife that ends too early at too many places, The End keeps going until the wee hours.

We ended up parking by some apartments down the road (across the street from the venue next to a gas station). The bar was located outside. It was a makeshift bar. The prices were good and the bartenders were nice. We asked one of the bartenders about parking and they indicated that you're allowed to park across the street in the Lawndale Medical Clinic (strip club parking lot) they did advise not to park at the pawn shop. They don't sell food. I believe they recently moved from the building next door. That old venue still has "The End" on it so it was a bit confusing. We walked past the new location not knowing we missed the entrance. My partner suggested we walk open the door where we heard a band playing and thankfully we found it (our friends also had this issue). This location doesn't have any bathrooms located inside but they had a couple of port-a-potties outside next to the makeshift bar. I hope that's not permanent. This place had a definite dive vibe which I enjoyed.

The entertainers are varied and we really enjoyed all groups we came to see! Especially grateful for Peter Noone and Herman and the Hermits !! We absolutely adored each show! The last one was scheduled in the Crossing in Tomball - fun , but nothing like the Dosey Do ultimate gun and up close dining experience we loved so much! When will Peter Noone be back eith Herman and the Hermits? What other groups are in your program!!?? We love this place and we always get to know interesting fun people here- mostly from Houston.tjis is the place to go! It is definitely the place to be! You will hsve more friends leaving than you had before you came in! Incredible unique wonderful experience for all! A true memory builder and a place to take fsmily snd close friends and business associates!! Everyone loves it here and is so excited to come back! And yes, besides tee shirts and souvenirs, you can order fresh made in house legendary coffee! If you can' t arrange to see a shoe in a historic venue, then drop in Dosey Do on Research Forest across from Alden Bridge shopping and grab a cup snd maybe add their tasty empanadas??

Once inside, it was so cozy and homey and we were treated like special guests in someone's home! Such personal service by the most polite and pleasant staff. I have never been treated so well at a concert in my life. Whether it was pouring us drinks or showing me where the restroom was we were met with true southern hospitality. The bathrooms were clean, the food was delicious and the venue itself nothing short of amazing! It is smaller than you think which makes it so you feel right up close to the performers. Never mind that Girl Named Tom were nice enough to come upstairs to the balcony to do a few songs and they walked right by us and stopped to chat! I mean where else can you have that happen?? The salad was fresh and crisp and the chicken fried steak was a real piece of steak not just pounded cube steak. The green beans were perfectly prepared with some bite to them still and not the canned kind. My husband's pork tenderloin was also good and his sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts were perfection. Every second I was saying to myself how impressed I was with it all. Josh and Shelby took such great care of us and made it fun too! Iced tea glass was kept filled as was the coffee. I wish I liked country music more as I would come here for a show again and again!

I don't remember them serving food while I was there, but the drinks were definitely flowing. The bartender was friendly and quick with the mixes -- no long waits at the bar, which is always a plus when the place starts getting busy. The energy really picked up once the house music got going. The DJ kept the crowd moving, and the whole space felt lively without being overwhelming. I also appreciated that they had plenty of seating, including booths for groups who wanted to sit back, catch up, and still enjoy the music. It's a solid spot whether you're there to dance or just hang out with friends.

One of the things I like most about this venue is the size. It's small enough that you can actually feel close to the artist, which makes the experience much more personal than a huge arena. I love being up close and personal with the talent, and HOB is one of those places where that's actually possible. The venue has a good concert atmosphere without feeling overwhelming, and I've always enjoyed the energy of the crowd. It's easy to see why so many artists stop here when they want a more intimate show. Overall, it's a solid venue for what I go for.

Ambiance (3/5): Dan Electros is located in a residential neighborhood. They have a relatively small parking lot and it was completely full on a Wednesday. We ended up parking on the street a block or two away. Initially, I wasn't too impressed. Dan Electros has a gravel parking lot. Never a fan. It gets your car dirty and your shoes dirty. When you walk in though, you're entering a dive bar with some character. It's tough to describe what that is exactly but it's something you feel. Dan Electros hosts a lot of live music and they have a small dance floor. If you're into live music, as I am, this may be the spot for you. They also have a pool table which is always a plus in my book. Service (4/5): I ordered a drink at the bar. I was greeted promptly and received my drink promptly. When I later went back to the bar to close out, I was able to do so without much effort. Solid experience overall. Food (N/A): I didn't have any food as I had dinner prior, but I don't think they have food anyway. I'm not 100% though. Drinks (4/5): For a dive bar, Dan Electros has a cool menu with some interesting cocktails and a good beer list. Even at a dive bar, it's nice when you can order more than just beers and simple cocktails. With that said, I had a beer. When in Rome.
