Tucked away into a inconspicuous parking lot lies a fun and engaging experience courtesy of Escape Hour. The staff is extremely helpful though and walk you through everything you need to know ahead of time and feel genuinely excited to be a part of things. Upon checking in you are required to lock all items into a locker, this is done to eliminate the ability of people filming the room itself. Upon entering the room (we played Dead Man's Cove) you are greeted by a deliberately and carefully thought through set. The design of the room is incredible and the activities you participate in are fun and challenging, although not too difficult. The most difficult portion of it all was the lack of light since we weren't able to carry our phones on us. Since there are no spoilers in this review, I'll leave it at this: Escape Hour is nothing short of a fun and exciting experience highlighted by workers who care and a well built out environment. This is definitely something anyone local should try at some point. We have played a few escape rooms ahead of this one and it is a far better experience than our previous ones and provides a good challenge without feeling too convoluted in its design.

Giving it 5 stars because we had a blast. The room was solvable and the props were decent. Not at all rundown like other escape rooms I've tried. What really made it stand out was the super friendly staff. That made all the difference. They're very strict about no phones for photos or videos, not even to use as a flashlight!

Just finished this escape room on Halloween, and wow -- it was terrifying in the best way possible! They actually got some genuine jumps and screams out of me. For my first time doing an escape room, it was way harder than I expected but super interactive and fun from start to finish. Huge shoutout to June, our host (or should I say actor extraordinaire) -- her performance was top-notch and pulled me right into the storyline. She made the whole experience feel real. I didn't manage to escape this time, but now I have to come back to see how the story ends. Call me an escapee from now on, because I'm officially hooked!

Great immersion before you even get into the room

My partner and I played Call of the Ancient with our 5 month old son, we absolutely loved the room. The puzzles went with the theme, not too easy or too difficult, great use of tech in the room and the staff were all amazing. I did knock off a star because we called before we booked and asked if the 2 rooms we were looking at would be suitable to do while having a baby strapped on our chest. We were told this room wouldn't be a problem, unfortunately there are some tight spaces and more specifically small crawl spaces that should be done with 2 people at the same time but since I had the baby my partner had to crawl in and out of the 2 spaces to complete the puzzles. I would NOT recommend this room with a baby in a carrier and we were a little frustrated that it was recommended. However, if you are baby free and can crawl I would definitely recommend this room.

The game master was wonderfully helpful when we needed it, and gave us words of encouragement along the way.

Toby was a very friendly and genuine game guide that made us feel great about our accomplishments and CJ was an awesome and generous host that got us hyped and left us feeling elated. I was visiting from The Bay Area, California for my birthday, and we decided to play The Heist. There were 5 of us, and 4 had played escape rooms before (not at this company). The room design was awesome, very intricate and detailed, and the puzzles were really well done and very fun (Zelda Ocarina of Time vibes in one puzzle). It had plenty of things for us to do and find solo, and then still come together to solve the puzzles as a group. We smoked it, escaping with over 20 minutes left, with no clues, so we were ecstatic! We got out of the room and much to my surprise they made me a hand-drawn birthday card!! So incredibly sweet, and totally made my day. Coming off of our high of escaping The Heist, we decided to try their hardest room, Prison Break (with a discount for playing same day!). We were split into two cells at first, which proved difficult because we weren't communicating as well as we should have been. We needed a little bit of guidance in the beginning, but once we were out of the cells we started working better as a whole team. The final room was my favorite, I completed a really cool chess puzzle and then there was a detailed bookcase one too that I managed to figure out! I personally felt very accomplished in this room and we managed to escape with around 7 minutes left! Overall, these rooms are meticulously designed and sets were immersive. The puzzles were clever and made you feel very smart when you figured them out, which made the rooms that much more fun. They really focus on teamwork, which amplifies the connection and good vibes of your friends and family. Guidance was kind and not overbearing, allowing you to struggle on your own before gently nudging you towards what was blatantly obvious in hindsight. You can tell that the staff there have a unique bond and really enjoy making the guests feel special. They made my birthday a super memorable one and I'm so happy I decided to come here. Please check them out, you'll be glad you did. My birthday was the bestest because of you all! Thank you so much Toby and CJ!!

They give you 25 min but we were going through everything pretty quickly! They also had some file cabinets and old PC's for you to continue to smash through. The staff was very friendly, they automatically give you a speaker to connect your music to. Definitely recommend checking them out. Note: it does get warm in the room so dress appropriately since you will be given a jumpsuit. Also make sure you're wearing closed toe shoes. You'll have protective ear, head and face gear which will be needed since glass is jumping everywhere!

The guys in the front desk were very friendly, they let us connect to their speaker through Bluetooth and I played some hard rock music that I found fitting for the occasion. The session lasts 25 minutes. I added 2 TVs to smash, those are very hard to break since they only have metal bars and not sledgehammers as other rage rooms, I'd avoid purchasing them as extra next time. The guys were nice and gave me an extra computer monitor to break, it was fun! They also have 1 fridge and a broken washer that you can smash. Very therapeutic!
