I've been Ziplining before , I enjoyed our time so much I bought the expierence for my siblings for christmas! Last time we had Meriem and another gentleman as our guide and had a great experience, this time we had Tyler and Grace and they were just as great! All the guides i've met are kind and funny and super helpful along the way! This time around I learned about the full moon zips and I think i'll be back to check it out! We did the 5 zip package which lasts around 3 hours! Theres some hiking between and water provided along the way- make sure you wear comfy clothes and good shoes- and for my long haired friends a low pony or bun works best! 10/10 recommend checking out LTZA for a weekend adventure or special occasion. read more

Absolutely awesome experience! I have zip lined before elsewhere in Texas. This place blows that one out of the water! Our guides, Eli and Carmen were super friendly and fun to talk to. The lines start small and short and work their way up to the tallest and longest in Texas! It was such a thrill! There is a pretty strenuous hike between a few of the lines, but they provide plenty of water that straps into your harness. What a great experience! There's a boat ride to the zipline start. A bit of hiking to each point but the guides knew exactly where to stop for breaks. Mostly tree covered. I felt a bit nervous the first zipline but the guides set me at ease. They were a great vibe. Even the guides that weren't with us were positive engaging and inclusive. Expect to carry your pulley and water bottles on your belt while hiking up. Best to grab a bit before or bring a snack with you there isn't a place onsite for a meal. They provide cold water at most zipline points. For all ages, solo, couple or with a group. Maybe have the younger ones experience a smaller one first to know what they are getting into. The only thing missing was MUSIC. Hard to please all so I understand why they don't do, so I just put an earbud in and jammed on my ziplines. If I go again, it would be for my kids or visitors to experience. read more

Such a fun and memorable experience from start to finish. At first it feels a little intimidating, but once you go on the first zipline, it quickly turns into excitement. What I really liked is that it's not just one ride. There are multiple ziplines with different speeds and levels, so the experience builds and never feels repetitive. By the end, you actually start enjoying the faster ones. Be prepared for a real hike between platforms. It's not just a short walk, it's a proper uphill hike in some parts. Honestly, it felt like great cardio combined with something genuinely fun. The guides were amazing. Super friendly, funny, and very attentive. They explain everything clearly, keep the atmosphere relaxed, and make you feel safe the entire time. They also provide plenty of water, which was a big plus. There are many stops along the way where you can grab water, and it's all included. A couple of tips: definitely wear sunscreen, SPF is a must, and a hat will make a big difference, especially during the hike. Overall, everything was very well organized and smooth. I had no idea that this place existed so when I found it on yelp, we had to go! From New Braunfels, it took us roughly 2 hours to get here for a 9 AM tour. I am so glad we booked an early tour because it was not too hot out and by the time or tour ended it was around noon and the sun was already blazing. I realize that on their website it states that there is roughly a mile or so hike up to the lines but what I didn't realize...it is literally hiking up the side of the mountain and some areas are pretty steep. You'll definitely need some decent shoes and apply some bug spray before hand. It is not a incredibly difficult trek up and if you're even minimally in shape, I think you'll be okay, just take frequent breaks and hydrate starting at least a few days before - you will quickly sweat it all out. They do offer a water for free on your tour and recommend that you consistently sip at it. The only real downside of this is once you begin the tour they have literally no bathrooms for about 3 or 3 1/2 hours. The zip lines were super fun and it was pretty cool to be able to go over parts of the water and see the lake from that perspective. Everything was in great condition and seemed very safe. Our guides (two young ladies who's names are escaping me at the moment) were awesome and I could tell they really enjoyed their work. They do have a couple of hammocks, cornhole and down by the lake there are some chairs overlooking the water which is very relaxing! I read on their website that you can swim in the lake but down by the boat dock there is a sign saying risk of shock so not sure where you would swim, and I did not get in the water. They also have a gift shop and offer to take your photo throughout the experience. You can purchase all of them for about $40 I believe. You can have the pictures emailed to you for review and purchase if you don't want to wait around there. However they will email you everyones pictures in a bundle and that is a bit of a pain to look through on a cell phone. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lake Travis Zip Line Adventures and hope to be back to try the night tour! read more

What a treat! My son, his girlfriend and I had an absolute BLAST!!! I have zip-lined all over--both in the U.S. and internationally and I have to say, this experience pleasantly surprised me. Why? These lines let you Truly take in the breathtaking lake views. They were incredibly smooth, too. While some ziplines(here and abroad) are thrillingly fast, the speed often robs you of the chance to soak in the scenery. Not the case here --you get the best of both worlds. This was such an amazing experience (especially this being my first time). Miriam and KC were a blast. I loved how they provided instructions, demonstrations, and took plenty of photos for us. Checking in was an easy process and we completed the waivers online beforehand. They have activities for you to enjoy before the tour shift begins such as corn hole, hammocks and tetherball. The boat ride across the lake was an added plus and enjoyable. I really like how they start you off small and then build you to the biggest one at the end. The hiking was fun. What an amazing experience at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures! Loved our time there! First, our guides were fantastic. Grace and Bart are a ton of fun. Their energy and smiles were infectious. Secondly, riding on the Ziplines with views of Lake Austin was breathtaking and exhilarating. There's a little bit of hiking needed to get to the platforms, but we actually didn't mind it. They took great pictures of us throughout the experience and gave us inspiration for poses. You can take pictures on your own, but the tour guides will also take pictures of you. My favorite part of the zipline adventure was being able to see the sparkling water and turtles as I was flying in the air! Others have already mentioned this but make sure you understand it's a moderate hike. They provide plenty of instructions, cold water, etc. I highly recommend the experience here with the staff. My wife and I experienced the full course, 5 zip lines, in October 2025. It makes for a great excursion with nature, hiking, and some thrilling zip lines. Our guides were chill, Hans & Tyler. They allowed us to enjoy the tour without too much corn. Overall, I was quite impressed with the operation. They have snacks, drinks, and merch at the gift shop where you check-in. There are places to explore on the grounds while waiting for the tour to start. You get to take a short boat ride across the lake to and from the course. The course is set up to gear up and run a couple of short beginner lines, followed by 3 big lines that cross the water. Look for turtles down below as yo go! It ends with a bar and deck that looks out over the water. The price is a little steep, but I do recommend this adventure. read more

Our guides, Austin and Josie, brought amazing energy and made the entire adventure feel seamless and fun. My friend and I ended up with what they called a "private VIP tour," which meant it was just the two of us, an added bonus that made the experience even more memorable. In the morning arrived 30 mins early and meet sterling who is amazing from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed playing cornhole, but even more so the tetherball. The restroom in the area is an actual flushable toilet thankfully. We all head out to the boat and get to the gear set up. This 2nd restroom is more roomy, but no lights. Everything is very clean. I'm scared of heights and speed, but somehow I'm encouraged to get on. I thought I was going to pass out, but after a second hike I'm ready to try again and reminded myself to breath and focus on kicking my legs a little for some mind body connection. The tour guides and team are so encouraging and warm that I was able to complete all 5 Ziplines! I'm shocked and I enjoyed my time overcoming fear. I waved hi to the people on the boats and enjoyed the view. Meagan and sterling are amazing, funny, personable, encouraging, and sweet. I was more than glad to tip. We never ran out of water, Megan stayed behind for those who needed a longer hike break, everyone was taken care of when suiting up the harnesses. I cannot recommend the Lake Travis Zipline Adventures tour enough! We had an amazing time. From start to finish, it was an incredible and unique experience that perfectly blended adrenaline with the beauty of nature. Our guides, Ben and Austin, were the heart of the experience. They were not only highly professional and safety-conscious but also incredibly fun and informative. Their great sense of humor and knowledge about the area made the 3-hour tour fly by. The adventure itself is perfectly paced. The nature walking trails with a slight elevation between the ziplines were a wonderful way to catch your breath and immerse yourself in the hill country landscape. And the views from the platforms are simply breathtaking--zipping over the lake with its great water level provided an amazing, bird's-eye perspective of the stunning blue water below. This is an awesome experience right on the lake! We went Sunday around 1 pm - 4 pm which is generally the hottest part of the day but it was still really enjoyable and plenty of the trail is shaded! You start at the office and take a short boat ride to get your gear and start the trail with the 5 zip lines. The first two zip lines are mainly for practice / to get comfortable and the final 3 are long and above 1000 feet! Our guides Austin and Aubrey were super friendly and helpful, we felt safe the entire time. Plenty of water at each zipline in case you are thirsty and a concession stand with beers / chips at the end before you boat back to the starting location. It is a really beautiful way to see the lake in a different way. Process is quick and seamless to book / day of, everything went so smooth! read more

The price per person was $135. There are certain weight restrictions, so be sure to check that before you go. I went with my friend and it was a great experience. First, we checkin at the registration desk. Then, a short walk to the boat. The boat ride was approximately 5 minutes. Then another short walk. There, we were given cold water and could use the restroom if we wanted to. After that, we were given a demonstration on the equiments and were given instructions to wear them correctly. Then the hike to the first ziplining post began. The first two zip lining were too quick, and it was meant to be an introduction to future zip lines. 3rd and 4th were pretty good and the views were amazing. 5th one, you go side-by-side with your partner if you came with someone else. There was a big hike in-between one of the zip lines. So be ready for that. They do take photos throughout, just be aware that you have to pay for it at the end. ~$40 for all digital copies. More if you need to print it. You can also tip them using card at the end. They charge 1 cent to your card, and you can get cash back to give as tips. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

I had been zip-lining several places before and they were great. There was a young guy on our tour who was very hesitant but they made him feel at ease and he enjoyed his experience. As stated above, there is a bit of hiking but don't let that stop you. They said that last week, they helped an 82 year old woman up the hikes! If that isn't motivation..:I don't know what is :) I suggest an early morning or early evening zip. I'll bet the mid-day zips are blazing hot this time of the year. My partner and I went ziplining here for his 50th birthday in October. This was an ideal day to do this as the older we get, we are tending to revert back to our twenties when we first met when we lived for adventure. This ziplining tour started earlier in the day. We choose to come early to avoid the blazing Texas sun. When we arrived, we were given a rundown on how the day would unfold and were introduced to our guide for the day. We took a pontoon boat to the base of the trail where we would start our day. The first zipline served as a practice to get us acclimated to the to the gear and how participants should properly zipline. After the test run, the ziplines became more challenging as we progressed through the day. As a group, we walked a mile and a half largely uphill with our zipline gear on, which proved a challenge for some in our group as the rising temperatures and steep incline was unexpected and underestimated by many. The last zipline by far was the highest, longest and the most scenic as participants were able to see the breathtaking view of Lake Travis. What's more, at the end of the last zipline, the group was able to stop and get beverages at the small shack-like stand that had beers, gatorades, and did I say beer? The view of the lake from where we sat after the last zipline made the experience that much sweeter. Hans and Miriam were great guides; so patient and friendly. Their instructions about the equipment, the hike and the zip lining were concise and clear. We did the double barrel, which started with a boat ride, then a mile hike up the mountain with several stopping points along the way. I must admit, I had to stop quite a few times. We had a headwind that slowed us down and the lake was very low, but overall, it was a fun experience. I rewarded myself with a beer at the bar near the end platform before we headed back to the boat. This day at the lake was epic! I brought my friend David and we arrived at the check-in about 25 minutes early and got ready (got weighed in cause there's a 250lb limit), loaded on water, and then joined the other 2 guests that were in our group for the afternoon (2pm appt time). Apparently usually the groups are much bigger on the weekend, so I definitely suggest going on a weekday if you can. The wait to ride is shorter and you'll get more personal attention in a smaller group! After taking the boat across the river, we got geared up. If you're a little heavier (i'm 202lb) i recommend you tighten the leg loops cause they really do support you and take the pressure off your stomach area. My first short zip was a little uncomfortable, but the moment i tightened those straps I had so much fun on the next 4 zip lines. Before i go back to talking about the actual zip lines, I want to say the guides including Hans are fantastic chatty and playful and make the day fun! They offer lots of photo ops with your own camera for free or theirs (for sale). So the hike isn't bad overall, towards the end it does get a little steep so if you have leg or knee issues, that may be a challenge. But it's worth it!!!! The last 3 and 4th ziplines are really exhilarating, but you then end on the fifth line which is called Double Barrel because is two lines next to each other and runs the fastest and highest of any in Texas! You get to race your friend down and my friend was brave and used his phone to film us riding it!!! Some key notes: Yes the hike is steep and rocky so wear good shoes, they have ice cold water all along the trail, and that back loop on your gear amazingly holds it tightly so you can keep it when you go zipping... And yes they even have beer and hard seltzer (and soda) for sale at the end of the day at this little cantina that overlooks the lake.
