    Bar after 5 ziplines!
    Phoebe P.

We came in for their special - pay for 1 adult, 1 child free for their 5-zipline option! It was so fun but man it was truly a HIKE to get to the lines. I definitely would have benefitted from preparing a bit more for that workout in the summer heat. It was well worth it though! The views were wonderful and my little one enjoyed his time too. Shoutout to Josie & Ben for knowing their stuff and doing their thing with us! They were super fun and great to chat with throughout the tour. Would recommend & would def do again!

What a great experience! There's a boat ride to the zipline start. A bit of hiking to each point but the guides knew exactly where to stop for breaks. Mostly tree covered. I felt a bit nervous the first zipline but the guides set me at ease. They were a great vibe. Even the guides that weren't with us were positive engaging and inclusive. Expect to carry your pulley and water bottles on your belt while hiking up. Best to grab a bit before or bring a snack with you there isn't a place onsite for a meal. They provide cold water at most zipline points. For all ages, solo, couple or with a group. Maybe have the younger ones experience a smaller one first to know what they are getting into. The only thing missing was MUSIC. Hard to please all so I understand why they don't do, so I just put an earbud in and jammed on my ziplines. If I go again, it would be for my kids or visitors to experience.

Second to the last line (not the tallest!)

Absolutely awesome experience! I have zip lined before elsewhere in Texas. This place blows that one out of the water! Our guides, Eli and Carmen were super friendly and fun to talk to. The lines start small and short and work their way up to the tallest and longest in Texas! It was such a thrill! There is a pretty strenuous hike between a few of the lines, but they provide plenty of water that straps into your harness. It's such a good time, I can't wait to go back- I've already told all my friends!

I've been Ziplining before , I enjoyed our time so much I bought the expierence for my siblings for christmas! Last time we had Meriem and another gentleman as our guide and had a great experience, this time we had Tyler and Grace and they were just as great! All the guides i've met are kind and funny and super helpful along the way! This time around I learned about the full moon zips and I think i'll be back to check it out! We did the 5 zip package which lasts around 3 hours! Theres some hiking between and water provided along the way- make sure you wear comfy clothes and good shoes- and for my long haired friends a low pony or bun works best! 10/10 recommend checking out LTZA for a weekend adventure or special occasion.

I had such a wonderful experience! Our tour guides, Bart and Lani, were phenomenal. They were friendly and made the experience so fun. We started off at the bunny slopes and did a total of around 4-5 zip lines. The views were amazing. I'd Be prepared for a bit of a hike, but nothing unmanageable. If you want pictures, make sure to bring your phone in a little fanny pack because they charge for the pictures they take of you. I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Came here for a Yelp Elite event this weekend, and boy was it an amazing experience! Three hours, Five total zip lines (with the final one being a two-person race), complimentary cold water throughout the tour. Absolutely amazing time. Our tour guides- Josie and Harrison-were phenomenal, full of positive energy, and Kelly the vibe going. What an amazing adventure, absolutely recommend and go again if afforded the opportunity!

Such a fun and memorable experience from start to finish. At first it feels a little intimidating, but once you go on the first zipline, it quickly turns into excitement. What I really liked is that it's not just one ride. There are multiple ziplines with different speeds and levels, so the experience builds and never feels repetitive. By the end, you actually start enjoying the faster ones. Be prepared for a real hike between platforms. It's not just a short walk, it's a proper uphill hike in some parts. Honestly, it felt like great cardio combined with something genuinely fun. The guides were amazing. Super friendly, funny, and very attentive. They explain everything clearly, keep the atmosphere relaxed, and make you feel safe the entire time. They also provide plenty of water, which was a big plus. There are many stops along the way where you can grab water, and it's all included. A couple of tips: definitely wear sunscreen, SPF is a must, and a hat will make a big difference, especially during the hike. Overall, everything was very well organized and smooth. We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again.

I had no idea that this place existed so when I found it on yelp, we had to go! From New Braunfels, it took us roughly 2 hours to get here for a 9 AM tour. I am so glad we booked an early tour because it was not too hot out and by the time or tour ended it was around noon and the sun was already blazing. I realize that on their website it states that there is roughly a mile or so hike up to the lines but what I didn't realize...it is literally hiking up the side of the mountain and some areas are pretty steep. You'll definitely need some decent shoes and apply some bug spray before hand. It is not a incredibly difficult trek up and if you're even minimally in shape, I think you'll be okay, just take frequent breaks and hydrate starting at least a few days before - you will quickly sweat it all out. They do offer a water for free on your tour and recommend that you consistently sip at it. The only real downside of this is once you begin the tour they have literally no bathrooms for about 3 or 3 1/2 hours. The zip lines were super fun and it was pretty cool to be able to go over parts of the water and see the lake from that perspective. Everything was in great condition and seemed very safe. Our guides (two young ladies who's names are escaping me at the moment) were awesome and I could tell they really enjoyed their work. They do have a couple of hammocks, cornhole and down by the lake there are some chairs overlooking the water which is very relaxing! I read on their website that you can swim in the lake but down by the boat dock there is a sign saying risk of shock so not sure where you would swim, and I did not get in the water. They also have a gift shop and offer to take your photo throughout the experience. You can purchase all of them for about $40 I believe. You can have the pictures emailed to you for review and purchase if you don't want to wait around there. However they will email you everyones pictures in a bundle and that is a bit of a pain to look through on a cell phone. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lake Travis Zip Line Adventures and hope to be back to try the night tour!

My favorite part of the zipline adventure was being able to see the sparkling water and turtles as I was flying in the air! Others have already mentioned this but make sure you understand it's a moderate hike. They provide plenty of instructions, cold water, etc. I highly recommend the experience here with the staff. Super fun and helpful.

Worth it? YES - great experience so take the drive and get those great memories! Fun note: starts with a short boat ride across the lake. Parking - plenty, dirt roads Lockers - available at the checkin reception for free Bathrooms - yes, two bathrooms before the actual hiking and zip lines Water - yes! They provide tons of water at each Zipline and its cold Hiking trail difficulty - medium because it is not flat, it is uneven, rocky, and at an incline. If you do this hike/activity I suggest a morning or when it cools down. Safety- Miriam and Nathan did a fantastic job at explaining the safety, reminding every one of the best fun and safe ways down, lots of photo ops, and both have a positive and funny approach. Such a great time!

Josie and Hans were the best guides!! They kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back.

Enjoyed my experience ziplining with LTZA on a Saturday morning. Megan and Travis were the best guides. Beautiful scenery, fun group we went on the tour with. 5 ziplines in total, longest ones were 1800 and 2000+ ft. Little bit of steep hikes, but you can take your breaks.

    Zip!!!!

My wife and I experienced the full course, 5 zip lines, in October 2025. It makes for a great excursion with nature, hiking, and some thrilling zip lines. Our guides were chill, Hans & Tyler. They allowed us to enjoy the tour without too much corn. Overall, I was quite impressed with the operation. They have snacks, drinks, and merch at the gift shop where you check-in. There are places to explore on the grounds while waiting for the tour to start. You get to take a short boat ride across the lake to and from the course. The course is set up to gear up and run a couple of short beginner lines, followed by 3 big lines that cross the water. Look for turtles down below as yo go! It ends with a bar and deck that looks out over the water. The price is a little steep, but I do recommend this adventure.

Taken from the 5th and final zipline!

Ask the Community - Lake Travis Zipline Adventures

If you weigh 255 to 260 pounds would you be rejected?

Hi Kim, Unfortunately we do have a strict weight limit of 250 pounds maximum. Sorry about that!

Can a person in a wheelchair do this? Are the decks accessible or would someone have to carry you up stairs?

No you have to hike up there.

Do you have gift certificates available (where the recipients can schedule their own date & time)?

Absolutely! Once you purchase a gift card from our website, you will receive a digital gift card code that never expires. The recipient will pick any date and time available and use that gift card code to complete the purchase at checkout.

I have a 9 year old. Can he do the Zipline?

Their FAQ only states that they need to be at least 70 pounds and does not mention age at all

When is the best time to do tour in the summer? Do you have time to swim in the lake afterwards?

Probably early summer before it gets too hot. But either way there is plenty of shade in between and once you're on the Zipline you really forget about the heat. It depends on when you book your zip lining but they do open the lake to you for the…

Can someone tell me how much the pictures they take cost? Trying to prepare myself

I believe they are roughly $15. They will also take a lot of pictures with your own cameras if you allow them.

Does anyone know if they have lockers to lock your stuff up during the tour? Thanks!

Yes they are small but come included in the price that you pay.

Caves are so interesting and there is so much to learn about them . Longhorn Cavern offer 3 different tour options. The cavern walking tour is just like a casual walking tour. The black light tour is where you wear hard hats and walk with a light. The Wild Cave tour is for the extreme explorers who are okay with tight spaces . I chose the cavern walking tour. I highly recommend shoes that have a tight grip. The gift shop has really good options for keepsakes. Also, if you get thirst drinks are available to purchase. I did a wild cave tour without the extra charges that Longhorn collects. At Longhorn, our guide, Johnson did an amazing job with our small group of six people for the 10:45 AM tour. My brother and I initially registered for the 11:00 AM tour and am glad that we were suggested another time. We passed by the 11:00 AM tour and they had 40+ people in their group. Johnson showed us cool geological formations. We saw dolomite, calcium bicarbonate, chert, limestone, geodes, stalagmites, stalactites, and quartz crystals. Johnson is somewhat funny; he had a bit of quirky and dry humor. I enjoyed the history of the caverns, but some of it I thought was interesting. It was really delightful to learn that in the 1800's, before the CCC got involved, the locals would dance and play music turning the cave into an auditorium of entertainment. Johnson said that if certain geological formations glows, it is growing. Very catchy phase for memory. I got to see a few bats hanging out. They were tricolor bats which are smallest bats. The cave is cool, but thankfully not slippery. I was wearing no grip support shoes, but I didn't fall or have the urge to fall. There are mats on the floor of the cave to prevent falls. Johnson gave us more time to look around and admire the geology. My brother and I weren't required to bring our own flashlights. Johnson had a flashlight, but forgot to grab the blacklights. What I find is strange is that this is a state park that you cannot renew your state park pass at. This park headquarters is very different than the rest considering that there's a third party company handing the cave tours, they sell ice-cees, popcorn, and the gift shop is very big and vast. The others don't have this. It is questionable to me. I was told that I needed to go to Inks Lake to renew my pass. The cave tours are very pricey. Kickapoo Caverns tour was very affordable at $10. You can use the park pass. You can't get your state park passport stamped at Longhorn Caverns either. It seems like Longhorn Caverns is more for profit and the history about the cavern could be overly exaggerated to attract customers. My opinion. It was hard to believe half of the things what Johnson was telling us. There's one portion of geological formation in the cave that is "dead" because in year 1919, the locals went exploring by touching the formation it "killed" it. I preferred Kickapoo Caverns and the Caverns of Sonora a lot more. Even Inner Space Caverns and Natural Bridge were very exciting to see. Longhorn is cool, but didn't give me that WOW-factor, but I still had a ton of fun on a Sunday morning.

On a side note, it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited Willo was about Lake Travis once again having a healthy water level after several dry years. In terms of our experience on the lake, we got excellent advice on where to travel based on our team's interests and after following his directions it felt like we had arrived on our own private lake. We probably only saw a handful of other boats during our 3-hour excursion and that was only in passing. The boat came with a Garmin GPS that made it really easy to retrace our steps. For those wondering, there was excellent cell phone service out on the lake and we were able to use our phone GPS, make calls, and stream music. The boat had some nice integrated speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and we were able to jam out to our own tunes. There was also a cool flotation device attached to the back of the boat called the Aqua Lily Pad which we unrolled after anchoring, we had multiple adults laying on it without sinking into the lake. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience and we would highly recommend booking with Float On.
