These bags of fruits were like my afternoon bags of crack to get me through the day! Yes, I know I'm not allowed to make a comparison to something I clearly have never done... but seriously, I can't get enough of these fruit bags! Fruits to pick from: Watermelon, pineapple, mango, orange, cantaloupe, jicama, cucumber, coconut. Top off with chili powder, salt, and lime juice. You can actually pick and choose which fruits you want, which is awesome because you can be economically strategic and pick the most expensive fruits, and still pay the same price! Each bag is $3 to $5 depending on what size you want; I always get the $3 bag and it is always more than enough. Compare this to the $5-$10 you spend at Ralphs on a little bowl of mixed fruit! It's a steal! What I love about Cesar is that he lets me be picky! I like my mangoes green, crunchy, and as unripe as possible. He caters to my needs and searches around his stash for the greenest mango he could find. Additionally, I like my fruit heavy on chili powder... AKA I use up half his bottle of chili powder, and he doesn't mind. Even though I no longer work across the street and am unable to go every other day, I still pay Cesar a visit on Saturday afternoons after my workout, and he still remembers exactly how I like my fruit. Sometimes I tip him a dollar or two to show him how happy he makes me.

Amazing sandwiches!!!…read more After long hours of standing and walking, a BIG "NOMAD SANDWICH" $9 is just what I needed. It had shredded chicken, satueed mushrooms and onions. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was simple yet delicious. I also got a side of ZAATAR CHIPS $3 with yogurt dipping sauce.Thin fried pita chips seasoned generously with zaatar. I love zaatar, so I enjoyed it a lot. Zaatar is a Middle Eastern spice and herb blend with a bunch of spices I have never heard before lol. But trust me, it's good! They also had salads and wraps with Middle Eastern flavors if you prefer something light. But you really can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches.

Pretty & pretty small…read more Ordered the blueberry pulled pork, jerk chicken & short rib tacos + some weird soda for a total of $13. I took one sip of the soda and threw it away. Got a coke from another truck near by. Wasn't a problem though, I had plenty of time to get it while I waited for my tacos. The three tacos shells were smaller than the street tacos that I'm use to. Great emphasis was put into making them look pretty, not so much on giving great flavors or value for your money. I knew which one was the chicken by the color of the meat, but all of them were doused with so much sauce, that you could not taste the flavor of the meat. The jerk chicken tasted like sauce, without any heat. The other two I couldn't decipher which was which. My neighbor ordered the jerk chicken and fish tacos. He couldn't tell which was fish and which was chicken. Sad. Finished the 3 tacos in 6 bites. At least it was a pretty day and I had a cold coke...

Also, this was the closest food option around. You basically pick a base for about $10, then add toppings for $2 each. A little pricey, but its artisan brick oven pizza in a truck, so I guess thats justifiable. We got 2 pizzas. 1. Bianca with pepperoni: This was the fave. Great crust. Tasty cheese. Perfectly fired. 2. Meat lovers: This was a special on one of their signs. They guy said it was basically a Margherita base with pepperoni, sausage, and ham. So you save a buck. This one wasn't that great though. Too saucy so all the toppings just slid off the pizza and the crust was soggy. Decent ingredients but just not put together well. Overall, decent pizza. Nothing really mind-blowing IMO. Nice that its mobile and can be onsite.

Amazing Pizza. They gave me the wrong pizza (I ordered a Margherita pizza and they gave me a pepperoni. I didn't complain because instead of a large they gave me two mediums) and I still loved it. Perfect, thin, crispy, wood-fire oven in the trailer, ah this pizza was awesome. It was like being taken back to Italy. These guys are true Italians. My son ended up loving his treat and it kept him refreshed since it was getting warm around the time we were walking around the festival. Over all he was very happy and I was loving it too. Hopefully they'll pop up again so we can try all their flavors.

I am pretty sure I paid $5 for two small balls and had they been delicious, I wouldn't have thought twice about it, but alas. They were gluten-free as well, which is great if you need that, but ugggghhhhh they tasted gluten-free. I have learned in my time on earth that gluten-free cookies, baked, taste waaaay better than raw gluten-free cookie dough. Blech. Not for me! I would absolutely come back and try a popsicle! But unless you need to eat gluten-free, I would pass on the cookie dough balls.
