I had about 14 massages with different ladies, I highly recommend Monica and Illiana they were amazing. Pros: They are friendly and give a great lymphatic drainage massage. Cons: They are usually very busy and it can sometimes make massage times inconsistent. Sometimes a 50 min massage can start late/end early, or you can get a 15 min massage and 35+minute wrap finish. read more

Had my 1st ever session at Esencia Salon & Spa. Jeanette performed the lower body contour + butt lift session. The room is dimly lit with relaxing spa music playing. The bed lined with a thermal mylar metallic blanket which keeps you comfortably warm. You are asked to put on the disposable bandueu bra and thong that are lying on the bed and asked to wait laying face up. Jeanette explained what she was using and doing as she went and explained why which is what a first timer wants! Overall it is relaxing, but be prepared, it is painful as she works deep into the muscle and tissues to break up body fat and help with toning, so be prepared!! I wish I had been booked for a longer appointment as they only had me down for one hour & I was planning to have a facial as well since I drove from an hour away and I was hoping for a longer visit worth the drive. For a first time visit it was fine. Jeannette was nice and answered every question I had in detail which was appreciated. I purchased the detox tea & slimming tea to assist with my current weight loss, so I'm excited to try them out. Josselyn will give you an assessment of what your body needs and will explain every step if you are new to post op care. If you are a person who thinks a 5-10 minute assessment is a waste of time, then you've been going to the wrong place lol. Seriously, read her reviews and/or give her a try. Words can not describe how great Esencia Spa is! Monica, Kathy and Catherine are amazing. Not only are these girls amazing and make you feel so comfortable but they don't lie to you or promise you anything that they can't do for you. I've always had bad cellulite and this is embarrassing for me to post but other girls need to know about this amazing place and the services. I was referred by my sister's friend Magaly and will be forever grateful!! I want the same for other girls with the same problem. Not only did they make my legs slimmer and almost got rid of my cellulite ( not stopping yet, I have a long way to go) but the facials and everything else is just so amazing. In less than 2 months these girls helped me with so many parts of my body!! Seriously slimmer from everywhere!! Don't mind the bruises on my legs. Let me start off by saying Monica is amazing with Post Op Massages. As soon as i came back from Colombia after surgery, i purchased a package. I literally scheduled to see her everyday because i wanted to prevent fibrosis. The equipment she uses is amazing. She uses a vacuum machine, a electric belt for my abs, cold body wraps that feel like menthol and her hands to break up the fibrosis. Honestly the BEST in Los Angeles. I do not recommend this place. I booked a post op appointment the day after my appointment. I paid a deposit. They have a very strict policy. This policy does not fit the nature of their business. People are typically moving slow, sick from surgery and high on very strong narcos. If you are late they are not flexible. You forfeit the $80 deposit. You cannot reschedule or cancel. They just take the deposit and say "Sorry". I made a mistake and booked with them. I will not do that again. I called and found another lymphatic massage spa within mins and they were very sweet and was able to get me a same day appointment. Do not come here. F- read more

So let me rave about them. I did a last minute call and a last minute appointment and I was taken care of! I came to my appointment and the place was very clean, neat, and friendly as I walked in. The front desk greeted me immediately as I walked in and was asked to fill out a questionnaire on an iPad (up to date on technology) I loved there savinesS on technology! It shows that they keep moving up not only in services but technology! I walked in with my mother and even she got services done! While our service we got my mother and I were explained eVerything we where getting done. I was very comfortable with the way they Did the service. I am so beyond upset with how they deal with their cancellation policy. I informed them I was arriving late and when I got there no one was there they were closed and she charged me the full amount of an oxygen facial, which is one of the most expensive facials!! After I called multiple times to ask for a reimbursement or a facial there was no response till days after with little to no room for flexibility. Also, there services are mediocre for the price. It's a one dollar sign amount but charging DTLA/ Hollywood prices for a location and the spa looking very low grade. Kathy does a descent job on the facials, but would rather just go to North Hollywood for a more fabulous spa and pay the same amount and plus get some amenities. read more

Well I'm this was my worst experience ever I won't be returning back I told her I just had surgery 5 weeks ago she was using the metal on me I was pain and she didn't care the lady it's LINDA if you hate your job might as well quit!!! Because you left me worst than I never had pain or cried during my recovery until last night you left swollen with pain I don't recommend this place for anything I hate it here. I was lucky enough to win a free facial from their Instagram acct. I came in not expecting much since it was a free service. I checked in, waited a few mins and finally walked in to Kathy's room. As she was examining my face & addressing my concerns, she was explaining the different facials they offer & their benefits with prices. They have quite an array of custom facials, I remember the highest amount being $225 (but it has like 4 combined services in one for that price.) So I figured out that she wasn't aware that I was their giveaway winner. I said, Ill take whatever comes with the giveaway prize. I'm your giveaway winner. With out hesitation, Ms. Kathy said Oh! I went to this spa last year and it was the worst facial I have ever had! First, it was greatly overpriced (over $200). They don't even do your décolletage area. So I paid over $200 for them to scrub my forehead, cheeks and chin. Talk about throwing my money in the toilet. I will never go there again. read more
