I've been going to Dr Wong since I was a kid and lived in the Marlton area, but after a recent tooth emergency struck in center city Philadelphia -- I'm more appreciative/ devoted/ amazed by Dr. Wong than ever before. Out of the blue one night in the summer, there was an intense pain in my mouth that woke me up from sleep. Since it came from nowhere, I tried to live with it for a day or two to see if it would as mysteriously go away. The pain was terrible -- couldn't think, couldn't sleep, couldn't be helped with OTC painkillers. It got to the point that I literally just wanted all suspect teeth to be ripped out of my mouth. Even though Dr. Wong has been my life-long dentist, out of desperation I went to a very reputable, Philadelphia-based dentist. While there, they examined my teeth, did X-rays, and told me the problem was from grinding my teeth at night. The solution? Take Tylenol, and come back for a night-guard. This didn't feel like a plausible explanation, and the pain was only getting worse. This was not the time to try someone new -- this was the time to go to my tried-and-true expert. Dr. Wong was able to squeeze me in as an emergency, and when he looked at my X-rays, there was a tiny shadow that was missed by the other office -- but thanks to Dr. Wong's incredible experience and knowledge, he was able to figure out that what I really needed was a root canal! It was not a fun experience, but I was so thankful for an accurate diagnosis, and the immediate pain relief it brought! Dr. Wong is everything you'd want your dentist to be; gentle, kind, thorough, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about everything tooth related. (His staff is wonderful too. :) ) After my last foray, I will never stray again: Pavilion Dental for life!

From the moment I walked in the door everyone was extremely welcoming. My initial visit was just to see if Dr Cregar could extract the tooth given its location & complexity. He is a personable guy that you can easily relate to. After the exam, he made some adjustments on the tooth to make it more comfortable until extraction. They were able to get me in quickly and of course I was a bit uneasy. Dr Cregars assistant was very calming and struck up a pleasant conversation. They made me as comfortable as possible & continuously asked how I was doing. Everything went well and I look forward to the ongoing care of my teeth with Dr Cregar & his professional team. Dr. Gaughan never does any unnecessary dental work and is extremely thorough. There is no dental hygienist at this office, which I also love, as Dr. Gaughan is the only person who ever touches your teeth. I have Celiac Disease, and am extremely limited with what I can ingest, dental products included (gluten hides in everything)! Dr. Gaughan took the time to research all of the products he uses, and he even blends me a special gluten free polish to polish my teeth. I am so happy that Dr. Gaughan is my dentist. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care I experience at this office. He truly is the best.

Dr. Gaughan was recommended to me and I would totally recommend him in return. the office is really pleasant because it's such a small practice - I think he is the only dentist and his wife is the receptionist. when I went, there was not even a hygienist - Dr. Gaughan did all of the work and was awesome and gentle. Dr. Pastiu is very calm and gentle, when he explains something he does so with care and concern. The office itself is clean and modern. It is sometimes freezing in there, so take that into consideration. I find the price to be very reasonable for a cleaning, and they don't try to force any extra services onto me. I don't have insurance so it's important to me to be able to pay cash at a reasonable price.

A few months back, my dentist looked at my gums, told me there wasn't enough gingiva attached to…read morethe bottom of several teeth, and referred me to Dr. Canal for gum transplant surgery, AKA a gingiva graft. I went in for a consultation in December, and Dr. Canal explained the procedure to me. As such, for the next month, deep in my heart, I had been secretly terrified. I will not go into the gory details of the surgery here, but feel free to do a Google. I barely slept a wink last night. This morning was as great of an experience as one could have when someone is sticking a gigantic needle in your mouth four times and then... you know, the actual procedure that I'm not detailing. I will say, though, that I didn't feel a thing! Thanks, needles. It also only took about fifteen minutes per side to complete after the numbing portion -- the doc is speedy. Dr. Canal and his assistant were so friendly, and kept telling me I was doing great during the procedure when I felt the opposite. They also made jokes, which was a nice distraction. IE: "Don't ever let anyone tell you that you have a big mouth!!" when I was having trouble following their dental orders during the second part. I'm definitely in pain at the moment, and talking pretty funny since I have band aids on the roof of my mouth (yep, that exists!!), but I'm managing it with their detailed instructions. I'm glad I listened to my dentist and went to Dr. Canal! And, for what it's worth, I hope to never have to go back -- EVER -- but if a periodontist is needed in the future, I'll be booking an appointment with him.
