Update. Asked to book a second service on 3/13 for my other dog on 2/28 and it didn't get approved til 3/7. I'd like to add that the first time that he showed 30 mins after the arrival window. I get some appointments can run long but he asked if I "still want" the service. Luckily, I was flexible. I work remote 4 days out of the week and I tried to reschedule my second appt the day before due to work demands and never received a response. Communication could definitely use some work but the service provided is satisfactory. read more

Being a new puppy owner, it was difficult finding an appointment for grooming so it was refreshing to be able to book an appt within days of contact. The appt was scheduled for 3:30pm. We get a text reminder at 2:08pm also stating that there may be up to an hour delay. At 4:10 pm, we get another call saying "we had a difficult grooming session and if it's not too late we can come now." I said it was ok...BUT they didn't get to our house until 6:15pm. I specifically told Bashir that this was our puppy's first grooming experience. He is only 4 months old and just finished his shots. We definitely wanted a face trim, nails trimmed, sani area trim, & if possible an overall trim. He said "no problem." About 75 min later, Bashir brought our pup back looking & smelling great. I asked him how the pup did, he replied, "he did good, but not that good." He explained that our pup needs to get used to the grooming process. Yes. We know, which is why we wanted to start as early as we could. The issue is, the next day, we noticed that pup's left side of his body didn't seemed to be trimmed. His right side looks good and trimmed but his left side & left front leg is long while the rest of the fur on his body is shorter. I did watch him clean the pup's ear. He didn't do that well of a job. And honestly, his demeanor & his temper while pulling some of the ear hair out, seemed short and it bothered me. The only reason I gave him the benefit of the doubt was his wife was so kind and gentle in handling the pup. If you don't mind a lopsided uneven haircut, or possibly waiting 3 hrs past your appt time, and if your pup is PERFECTLY well behaved & accustomed to grooming (NOT A PUPPY), give Bashir a call. BTW.... I ended up asking my friend to even put my pup since his uneven haircut was so bothersome. read more

Wow - a mobile groomer with availability!!! Highly recommend Bashir. He is so sweet and gentle with my dog, Wally. By the end of the grooming session, Wally was completely in love with Bashir. This never happens! I'm super impressed by the level of detail and care that Bashir put into Wally's groom. He cut Wally's hair completely with scissors because a razor would be damaging to his coat. Bashir opted to spend the extra time to correctly treat Wally's coat, whereas most groomers would simply take the shortcut (literally!). His pricing is also very reasonable. We're officially on a regular schedule with Bashir now, because good groomers (especially mobile ones) are always booked up!
