Most importantly, they were actually fully dry and clean--I didn't have to second guess anything, which I really appreciate. Their paw pads were nicely trimmed too. They also did a fantastic job with deshedding. Anyone with huskies knows how big of a deal that is, and I could really see and feel the difference. The whole process was smooth. Online booking was easy, and they text you when it's almost time for pickup, which is super convenient. I was looking for a salon to take in my 25lb corgi last second as she was due for her quarterly grooming (we bathe her every two weeks to up keep her cleanliness). Initially wild dog grooming had no appointments available but Liz proactively reached out to me to see if I need any help booking an appointment. Luckily through our conversation, she let me know that there was one available slot for the same day so we secured it immediately. The entire service (bath and tidy) came out to $100 before tip which is a fair price! Ponyo came out with a nice rounded butt and her trim was very clean. Unfortunately they do not do anal gland expression, but I'm still pleased with the service. They even gave her this really cute pink bandana after the service. Sarah Wang did a great job cutting my little guy's hair back in June. I'm impressed she was able to work with Zee without any issues since he had knots and was dealing with a paw issue that wasn't fully healed by the time we dropped him off with Sarah. He came back looking dapper and with the short summer cut that we had envisioned. He got a cute little handkerchief, too! We have been bringing in our teacup Yorkie to Liz for almost two years now, and wouldn't imagine bringing him to any other groomer. As a matter of fact, her business in Fremont is probably the main reason why I have not taken a more serious effort in moving my family out of the Bay Area. I literally cannot think about having to go through the process of finding Joffrie another groomer given his particular small dog temperament; my brain just shuts down that possibility as I approach that particular rabbit hole. We take him to Liz every two months or so for a haircut, nail trim, bath, the whole nine yards. Even with his small stature, she puts in 110% effort in ensuring that he is properly groomed. Given that he is so anxious and fidgety, I'm sure she has to put in way more energy when taking care of him versus calmer, larger breeds. Liz has also provided great dog handling advice for when I was a dog noobie myeslf when I first got Joffrie. She quells my own anxieties and insecurities about being an adequate pup pawrent, and always has nice things to say about Joffrie, despite his destructive tendencies towards photography props. The infectious positivity that Liz exudes provides a comfort for me that I desperately need when it comes to my Yorkie. The last thing I need wandering the labyrinth of my mind is the notion that there is a possibility that Joffrie is yelping out of control, terrorizing people as a result of his own neuroses that have arisen from my own. When I drop him off with Liz, I know with confidence that these thoughts are unfounded, and am able to get about my day while not being a nuisance to my wife. If you are a nervous first time dog owner like I was two years ago, I highly recommend Liz not just for her grooming capabilities and services, but for her words of encouragement as well. Took my chow chow for grooming here. She had a beautiful fawn coat and her previous groomer had given her a smart lion cut. This was our first time coming to Wild Dog Grooming. We won a giveaway for a free bath and haircut. We really liked how the grooming space is very open and the dogs are welcome to roam around behind the gated area. I prefer this layout compared to most groomers where the grooming area is behind a door. Liz was very nice and it seemed like my dog, Mochi, really liked her. Mochi is usually very timid and instantly shaking once I take her to a groomer, but she didn't se as scared here. Liz was very welcoming when we arrived and she let us send her reference photos for Mochi's grooming. Mochi was done in about 2.5 hours and her haircut was very nice! Her legs specifically were so even and still fluffy! Most groomers I take Mochi to ends up giving Mochi a very choppy haircut. And I was very surprised that she was actually very happy when we picked her up! I did notice that she was in a kennel while the other dogs were roaming around, but that's 100% understandable, because Mochi doesn't do very well with other dogs anyways. When I usually pick her up, she's very scared and shaking and rushing to leave. But when I picked her up from Liz, she was happy and running around and wagging her tail! This review is for my 2020-2021 past experience (around that timeframe). Run away from this place! Extremely expensive, unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful attitude. Even a jellyfish has more thick skin than this owner. Don't take my word, just look at the 1 star & 2 stars reviews & specifically her responses to those! They are mediocre and uncourteous. Business seems to have some entitled arrogance! I love Kumar's grooming (Original Grooming) which is literally next door and was the first place to start originally. I have always tipped great groomers in the range of $10-15. So calling me cheap and idiot proves how low you can go. And instilling the same arrogance into your employees! And if you think I never used your services then why were your groomers complaining about me tipping them and calling me cheap? Clearly you are a liar. I have taken screenshots of her original rant, just to prepare in case she lies again and redacts it. And yes, I used both your groomer & the independent groomer at your place. And then stuck with that independent groomer because you & your groomers are arrogant, so I had to stop using your groomers. We adopted Bleu, our Australian Labradoodle at the beginning of March. A week later, Shelter In Place/COVID happened and we found out quickly that many of the local groomers were closed or no longer taking new clients. As soon as businesses started to open up, we took our dog Bleu to Petsmart, which we learned quickly that this was probably the worst idea. I reached out to friends, other dog owners and trusty Yelp and found Liz at Wild Dog Grooming. Bleu just had his second grooming session with Liz and we are just as happy as our first session. She's so incredibly personable, friendly and knowledgable; giving us tips and tricks to try at home. I originally came to this place to get my dogs nails clipped the lady was wonderful! I had brought her to two other groomers and they could not do it? The lady here was great ! Ok I asked for a nail clipping appointment? She said that is considered a walk in and side job and they don't do that??? She's an awesome groomer, I fell in love with the way she took care of my Pom/Dach mix the 1st time. You can tell she has attention to detail and treats animals very well. Usually, I can tell when Yoda is not happy with his body language and eyes but everytime he sees Sarah it's like he has met her at a previous life. This was Blue's second trip to the groomer and I can't emphasize enough how amazing Liz was. I've gone to multiple groomers in the past for my other dogs and have gone back to a cut that's completely different from what I've explained and shown. I brought two of my yorkies to this place was happy to have there haircut since everywhere else was booked and this place got me in within a week. I dropped them off and they said it would take 4-5 hours. I received a text they would be ready in 30 mins. I showed up my little girl yorkies hair was uneven and I kindly asked her to cut it shorted in which she did and she looked great. My boy Yorkie looked amazing. I went to pay and pulled out money for the tip and my card for the fees. I was charged 75 initially then I gave a tip and was informed at that point I was only charged one dog. So I ran my card again for which I thought was another 75. Then gave each girl 10 dollar tip. As I went to the car I looked at my transactions and realized I was overcharged by 30 dollars and i showed them my bank statement. I stood in the hot sun while I'm assuming it was the owner and her husband looked into it. They agreed they would give me the difference back that was overcharged but then decided they would send me home while they figured it out. I left and got a email from the owner upset that I gave a bad review in which all I did was put a sad face on the square transaction because the truth was I was overcharged! The email stated she refunded one of my dogs fee which was 75 and I haven't received it. The money was refunded by accident which she cancelled because she initially was trying to refund 30 and accidentally refunded one dog fee in which I took two yorkies to her. The work is great the girls did a great job but as for the owner there professionalism was poor and she could have went about it in a different way. I wouldn't recommend this buisness at all! The owner has zero professionalism! Also she stated in the email that I was overcharged due to the type of card I used which was extremely offensive because I'm pretty darn sure I'm not the only person in this world that is on unemployment. read more

I got my German Shepherd bathed and brushed by Liz today and he looks (and smells!) amazing! You can tell they use really high quality products. His coat feels incredible and very different from when I bathe him myself at the pet stores.
