I wish I could give negative stars. The arrangement was awful and the customer service was worse. The arrangement was half the size we ordered and when I called to let them know my displeasure, I was hung up on. Funny you can't share pictures on their site...but I can here. I live in Maine and my mom lives in MA. I ordered flowers from 1800 Flowers for my mom for Valentines Day. These guys are the local florist that delivered my mom's flowers. I got a pic of the flowers that were delivered. Not the ones I ordered. I called 1800Flowers and advised them of the mishap. They had ordered a replacement to be shipped for the following Monday. The flowers never showed. I called again and was told that the flowers I ordered were not available. A phone call would have been greatly appreciated by the local florist (Especially Yours) to let me know. I was advised that another replacement order would be sent on Wednesday. Needless to say, that order never arrived either. Totally disgusted at the lack of communication from this place with regard to the flower delivery. Just bad business. read more

My son ordered an arrangement to be delivered for my birthday. To be fair arrangement was ordered through 1800florist. The Bouquet was skimpy the delphiniums were droopy and the Roses were brown. After a complaint by my son to 1800florist I got a phone call from especially yours. The florist was rude and the phone called wasted both our time. He claimed delphiniums are droopy and brown roses just happen. He said I hope it didn't ruin my birthday. And he suggested that in the future orders should be placed directly with his store. Because 1800florist was a rip off. I will Never use this florist. read more

The worst flower arrangement I have ever received ... it was a basket of greens tht looked like they went in there back yard and picked the greens and stuck a bow in it .. I called and I said that i could not believe this was a Christmas arrangement. I called my friend and she spent 50.00 . Suggest Rick and Especially Yours get in sync with 1-800 FLOWERS before you continue to make false statements. 800-FLOWERS quoted the initial 2/16 delivery date. You made a feeble attempt to deliver on that date. When we sent a picture of the small basket arrangement to the grandchildren, they were upset! How could you send something that size (though pretty) when the cost was around $100. You were once again reported to the floral service. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this florist to anyone! read more

Had an extremely negative experience over the phone about a delivery question. We had an issue with an order placed through 1800 flowers being fufilled by this shop and they were extremely rude about it. Not only did they provide zero helpful response, they were aggressive and rude in their response, and hung up abruptly. I was severely disappointed in their lack of customer service and would highly recommend going elsewhere for your flower needs. Especially Yours is hands down the best floral shop I have ever used. This was my first time there and by the time I left it felt like I had been a long time customer. Frank and Rick couldn't have been nicer. They put together a beautiful bouquet for me in minutes. I told them what I needed it for and they charged me only a nominal fee. I was delivered flowers from this shop for Mothers Day, and they where old , smelled, and wilted, they offered to deliver another arrangement, and it was half the size of the original dead arrangement, I called to have my daughter who is student refunded,and they have yet to refund her the $80, the arrangement was aweful!, and I had my Mothers Day ruined!, and my daughter was soo upset , I called again asking them why they have not credited my daughters card, and I was told they where too busy, this is a very unprofessional business, consumers beware! read more

NEVER EVER order from this florist. I got a very polite call from a delivery person who was attempting to deliver flowers to me. After 3 or 4 calls back and forth, he called his office who told him he could leave the flowers in our sunroom. My last call with the driver was that I was moments away from our house. As soon as I got home I retrieved the flowers from the sunroom and brought them into our house. The flowers were beyond horrible. Most of the flowers were brown and wilting, the water was luke warm, the arrangement looked like it was purchased at Shaws and then a few baby roses and lillies were added. No styrofoam to arrange the flowers so they were simply tossed into water. No flower food (which always comes with a delivery), and the WORST of it was after I called to let Especially Yours know the issues, the woman who refused to give her name and said the owners were there however were busy, was BEYOND rude!!! I will not go into details because it would take to much time to share her lack of professionalism however, she basically said oh well! When I said I would contact the person who ordered them for me to contact his CC she said go right ahead! I also informed her I would write a review on Yelp and she said "go right ahead"! She did however, tell me I COULD bring them back to her in Easton! I live in Norfolk, the purpose to deliver flowers, and pay for delivery is so that the receipient is NOT inconvienced! NEVER EVER use this florist!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one positive about this terribel experience was that the delivery man was exceptionally polite and apologetic. read more

They put absolutely zero effort into actually delivering flowers and end up telling the recipient to come pick them up... isn't that what the sender pays absorbent amounts of money for? My mom and I both received flowers from the same person for Mother's Day. The exact price, and the exact arrangement that was ordered from an online website and they were delivered by Two different florists, one being especially yours. I wish I could post a pic of the difference in the size and amount of flowers - and the quality. These must have been light pink 'black magic' roses as they were delivered with brown edges. The other company definitely delivered the better quality floral arrangement. Unfortunately this is the second time I've seen flowers delivered from especially Yours that are not up to par. Some businesses deliver bare minimum and most people won't complain - but I had to. Especially Yours should start Delivering quality arrangements or that corner store will sadly be out of business soon. read more

I have just read the reviews here and for the life of me I cannot understand where these people came from. I have done business with Especially since they opened in 1983 and I have NEVER been disappointed. Furthermore, I worked in the shop part time for a number of years and I know for a fact that no one was ever rude to customers. I remember a man who brought in a plastic bag from the supermarket and it had a dozen DEAD roses in it...when I say "DEAD" I mean brown and falling off the stems. He had purchased them two weeks before and it was obvious that the individual he sent them to never added water or cut the stems down as should be done every other day or so. The bag was taken from him and I, personally, put another dozen fresh roses in our florist box complete with baby's breath and greens, tied it with a bow and sent him on his way. There was no charge and no one ever said a mean or nasty word to him although I could think of a few. The person who reviewed from Westwood no doubt received flowers from another florist as Especially does not deliver to that town. A florist is contacted in that town, buy Especially and given all the information for the order....the contacted shop is then responsible for whatever shape the arrangement arrives in. You chose the wrong florist to blame. The Owners of Especially know the good florists in most states, towns and even out of the country so they always strive to make sure they have someone who is reliable putting the order together and delivering. If the florist who did your arrangement did not have professional arrangers on their staff then that is on them not on Especially Yours. If you call Especially Yours to complain make sure you know who the florist is who actually made the arrangement and delivered it as Especially would want to know so that they don't use the same shop again. In closing may I say that you could not find more conscientious individuals than the two gentlemen who run this shop and they are always on top of their designers and make sure that nothing leaves their door that isn't worth every cent you have paid and is something that they are proud to deliver to you. read more

My son sent his mother flowers on 2/13/2015. He was told they could not deliver same day even though it is offered. He settled for delivery on Saturday. I came home at noon to a note on the door of a missed delivery and to call the shop. I called and was given ten rushed excuses why they would not deliver again to Mansfield on this day. They rudely hung up on me. I called back and talked with a different person asking for directions to the shop. I explained that my son asked for delivery yesterday and the woman said were you home? I said yes (I think she was going to claim they tried to deliver). She hung up on me. Now I still did not know if the flowers were back in the shop so I called again. This time another person answered and told me that I should go Fuck myself, I said what and he hung up. I went to get the flowers at the shop right away and I asked for the man who told me to do that, he started yelling at me in his shop and told me that he had cancelled the order. I asked for a cancellation receipt but he yelled at me to get out of his store and said he would call the police I asked him to do this and he walked away. I understand if they were having a bad day but it is Valentines day the one day a year that you should have plenty of delivery drivers, and retry orders if you won't leave them with someone in the neighborhood. This made for a nice Valentines Day for my wife because she never received the flowers her son had sent her. read more

11/3/15: I wanted to write an honest review of this company as this is the first time I have ever needed to write a poor experience. A family member passed away and a friend of mine was sending me condolence flowers. Unfortunately she had an old address. When the driver attempted to drop off the delivery, I informed him that I had moved. He said that he couldn't help me as it was out of his area and to take it up with the manager. The shop closed at 4PM so my husband couldn't pick it up after work. When I called the manager, she too informed me "it was out of her hands" and didn't provide a remedy. This was on 11/3/15. I wound up calling back on 11/7/15 and getting on the phone with FDA and 3 way conferencing the floral shop and myself only to have the rude floral arranger tell me the manager was out and to hang up abruptly. I suggested that FTD reconsider their relationship with this group. read more
