I was a last-minute situation with needing flowers for a funeral. I could not find any red roses or yellow at a couple of different places I called. She did have some. She was open early and I went and had them done over there. Yes, I'm spoiled by the prices at the regular grocery store it would cost me three roses for $10 with greens and everything in them And she charged me about $32. I believe it was which I felt was not a good value to me it was just too expensive. I probably will never go there again only because the price really put me off, but I need them as an emergency type of basis so because of that I paid for them. She did not have tap for her credit cards or debit cards and my credit card and debit card is only tap. It cannot be slid in the machine. It will not accept the payment. It rejects at a later time and I have to go back and pay people. But she was kind friendly and she was very nice. She did wrap the flowers beautifully I was able to take them and be happy with the way they looked and stuff but I just was like I said I've been put off by the price. But it's probably because she's a small shop and the small shops have to charge a little bit more in order to make a difference and that part I get, but it's not something I could afford on a regular basis for sure. read more

BUYER BEWARE! My boyfriend called and ordered flowers for my birthday and picked them up on his way home. Dealt with a woman named Mandi. 2 days later he receives a text that reads "Hi this is Mandi from the Flower Shop, if you ever want to grab a drink this is my number." You can't make this up, she used a customer's personal information that should not be used for anything other than business! Her own personal dating pool! She knew he bought those flowers for his girlfriend and texts him to ask him out. Very unprofessional and she should not have a job dealing with the public. I tried to reach out to owner, but received no call back. I texted the old broad Mandi back myself and let her know exactly what we thought. I ordered through Teleflora and you just never know what your going to get with that platform. Half the time its a roll of the dice, however this place was outstanding. Not only did Judy call me back and let me know the delivery driver missed my wife being home, she stayed late until I arrived at her shop to pick up this beautiful arrangement. This arrangement blew my wife away and Judy even took the time to wrap the leaves in the vase which you don't see much. Fresh floral arrangements can tie together your wedding colors quite nicely. Unfortunately for us the flowers we received from Judy's Village Flowers (JVF) missed the most important accent color along with a few other elements! In fact anyone with eyes can plainly see they were not the flowers we agreed upon at all. For once my incessant photo taking proved quite useful when looking back on the ones we originally selected months before the wedding back in February. As you can tell from the harsh intro, this review is more of a cautionary tale for potential customers looking for a florist. Thankfully we were able to coordinate with the venue, Raffael's whom we purchased the package for a refund. They must have negotiated an amazing rate with JVF for $10 per low centerpiece per table. Good on Raffael's for responding immediately by calling me as soon as they saw my e-mail and cutting us a refund check for $120. Aside from an assortment of purple and pale pink flowers arriving on time, in the selected vases to the venue, I cannot speak highly of any other aspects of JVF. We encountered difficulty from the moment we e-mailed Judy Verizon e-mail to schedule an appointment. She attached the information sheet, which we filled out and didn't respond back to us to confirm the timing for weeks. We eventually agreed upon the time original time she suggested of 10:30am on a Saturday since none of the other time slots we proposed were suitable for her. She whipped together a vase of flowers and showed us the 2 options available for low centerpieces, bulb shaped or square shaped vase. The first one she made had too much vivid yellow and not enough coral / orange for our accent color. No consultation for specific types of flowers we wanted or specific colors with the swatches. Her solution was to just remove the yellow altogether, which was fine. I took a photo of the arrangement we agreed upon, which looked very spring feel with the bright white, pink lily and of course the orange roses. We finished up our appointment in less than 30 minutes and Judy couldn't wait to get us out of there. She really didn't give us much of a choice for what we wanted given her "take it or leave it" type of attitude when talking with us. If you take a peek at her other reviews you will notice others have characterized her personality with the same brusqueness. We still have not received any response from Judy herself or anyone in business weeks after the wedding/e-mail on 5/9. I even called for a follow up a couple days after I sent my e-mail and the woman on the other end acknowledged they had read the e-mail and that Judy would contact me back when she had a moment. Understandable since Mothers' Day weekend was fast approaching I was not expecting an immediate response. Yet, several weeks passing with radio silence reflects blatant neglect or indifference to low-value customers. Honestly this incident could have been avoided if the floral shop had contacted the venue and or me ahead of time to let me know that the selected flowers were unavailable. That way they could have coordinated appropriate replacements. If you use her services through the vendor packages it seems like a great deal especially when you compare to her retail prices. Hundreds for each arrangement! However, we also had the choice of another florist vendor so I can't help but feel like they would have been less abrasive and delivered the correct product. In addition, the flowers we did receive also did not look the freshest several petals were already wilting. I'm not sure about the shelf life of arrangements but ours were unsalvageable by day 2 - shedding here, there, everywhere! My company sent me a floral arrangement in November from Judy's Village Flowers and it was stunning. Within a few weeks of receiving my flowers, my mother had a fall that landed her in the hospital then into rehab. Judy's Village Flowers did the flower package for my wedding a couple years ago, and I was extremely extremely happy with them! I met with Judy either once or twice before my wedding to discuss flowers... she seems to have little patience for brides who want this-type-of-flowers-and-nothing-else-because-its-my-special-day!! and that's refreshing to me. When my stubborn litte sister (who is 4'9 and 90 lbs) wanted her bouquet to be the same size as everyone else, Judy told her it would look silly in the photos - and she was right (my sister later said she was happy the bouquet was much smaller!). I appreciate candor and honesty in an industry where everyone lets the bride run amuck and make whatever silly decision she wants. That being said, I went in with a vague idea of what I was looking for, and she provided me with lots of wonderful solutions, ideas, and photographs. We talked a lot about what flowers were in season and what blooms wouldn't cost a small fortune, but would keep with the theme of my bright summer wedding. She had so many great ideas for bouquets and for table centerpieces, and even threw in more expensive flowers that were not necessarily part of my package. She also had many great money-saving ideas that none of the other florists I had met suggested - she told me to save the scraps from the bridesmaids dresses and bring them into her shop so she could wrap the bouquets with them... they matched perfectly and looked fantastic. The day of my wedding, she had a representative there who made sure everyone got the right flowers and the men's boutonnieres were pinned on just right. The flowers were fresh, beautiful, and looked amazing in person and in the pictures - I got so many compliments on them. The shop itself was filled with about a million other gorgeous flowers, and the price seemed reasonable too.
