    fried zucchini and mushrooms
    Jessica C.

The burgers, fries, fried zucchini, and fried mushrooms are fantastic! We always call to order pick up, and everything is made fresh. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is very outdated, so we prefer not to dine in.

The club sandwich combo was so fresh and tasty. I had already eaten half. This is lunch tomorrow.

This was my first visit and will definitely be back to try more menu items! It was nice to be greeted and offered some meal ideas. I learned the restaurant was under new ownership and the energy is positive and friendly. Food was delicious, fries perfectly cooked, and ketchup cold and fresh. Going back this week to try that breakfast burrito!

This was a classically good burger! I stopped in with a friend at lunch time. We easily ordered at the counter and it felt really quick to get our burgers. We both tried the bacon avocado burger. It was cooked well, still nice and juicy, and seasoned well. It is quite the filling meal! The fries were hearty, cooked to a perfect golden brown, and a little bit crunchy. They seasoning in them was super tasty. If you are looking for a burger in this area, this is a great option! Good service, good food!

    Not a Greek salad.

Asked my husband to pick up Greek Chicken salads for us last night as Esperanza Burger had my absolute favorite one years ago. I seriously used to eat one every Friday for lunch for years. When he got there, the cashier told him that they had run out of salad dressing. He said okay, but still had them make the salads. This is what we got? Obviously not Greek salads at all. One had ham and one had chicken, and both were covered with melted plastic cheese. They were nearly inedible. We also ordered a carne asada fries with just cheese and meat and it came with pepper and onions, and the side of fries we ordered was so over cooked, that they were brown and hard and almost devoid of all moisture. So disappointing. We will not be returning.

    Chorizo breakfast burrito

I grew up with ehs burger and I really want to love it. But, the chorizo breakfast burrito has been so dry the last 3 times. Even with the sauce. Maybe it's too much hash brown.

My family and I moved down the street from this place a couple of months and pass by often. We always say that we want to try it because it looks like a delicious hole in the wall place. We finally tried it today and ordered breakfast items. My fiancé ordered a breakfast burrito that was huge and he loved everything about it except for the salsa. I ordered the bacon and eggs plate, which comes with toast and hash browns. It was all delicious. I wouldn't say it's cheap and I wouldn't say it's expensive since, but you do get quite a bit a food for what you pay and that's a positive! Service was solid and quick! I'm excited to try more items here! Maybe next time I'll check out the chili cheese fries.

This place used to be so good but the quality went really down over the years. Got a breakfast burrito today and the hashbrowns were really soggy and had the not fully cooked texture to it. Portions was mid too.

Well what can I say about this place? For starts the inside of the restaurant is very clean. The staff is friendly and kind. The prices are fairly reasonable for being a burger restaurant. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheese burger. It was well cooked and didn't have any issues with the food! I would definitely come back to this restaurant and order it again! Well done! I would definitely recommend anyone to give this restaurant a chance because their burgers are pretty good!!

The breakfast burrito is always good down to the last bite!

Prices went up $8.99 for a cheeseburger. I know it's under new management but 8.99 seems a bit extreme. Not sure if I'll be going back.

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. We look forward to returning soon and will gladly recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

It's incredibly quaint, with just a handful of tables, which is part of its charm. I can also understand why some people mention waiting, even with a reservation. As a customer, I actually appreciated that we were never rushed or made to feel like we needed to leave. It made for such a relaxing dining experience, even if it occasionally puts the next reservation a little behind. We sampled quite a bit of the menu--the mushroom risotto, short rib, carpaccio crudo, lamb, pork belly, shrimp, lobster bisque, French onion soup, and the watermelon salad. Everything was delicious overall. My favorite was, hands down, the watermelon salad--so refreshing with incredible flavor combinations. The lobster bisque was delicious and may have even edged out the French onion soup but the flaky puff pastry on the French onion was perfect for dipping into the yummy broth. The only dish that fell a little short for me was the shrimp, which I felt could have used a bit more seasoning. The servers were wonderful, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and I'd absolutely recommend giving The Wild Artichoke a try. It's a special little spot and a true gem for the area.

First of all, the service was absolutely horrible: our waiter was very rude for whatever reason and didn't really care much about us. They have good desserts though. So, overall I would not recommend going there, especially for the amount of money you spend, you can find much nicer places for dinner.
