The ambiance/ vibe/ decor were fun and immersive. A great place to dress up and vibe. The service was great- they were very attentive and helpful in explaining meals. However, the food itself was pretty lackluster. Wouldn't come for the food, but for the vibe. We had the steak, the chicken, the pasta, the artichoke dip, the truffle mac, tomato bleu cheese crostini, fries, and the gatsby dinner tower. All tasted okay...

Cute restaurant and such a nice vibe! Food was tasty and service was ok. Our server started out great then fell off toward the end. He disappeared and then gave us our bill. We wanted to get some dessert so we asked him why we weren't told there was dessert. He said oh I didn't know you wanted dessert. He seemed a little bit upset and brought out our dessert. We got a chocolate cake and carrot cake. But we got banana instead of chocolate. So then he got upset again and fixed it. After that he went home and had to wait a while to get some to go boxes for our cake leftover. It is a bit pricey but not too bad.

We had late dinner at Story and the experience was interesting for sure. The restaurant was not very busy nor loud but the hostess stand misheard our party's name multiple times. We gave up and just let them call us whatever name they came up with. When we were ordering, our server did not seem like he had any experience at all, which would've been fine if he was more friendly but it was just an odd interaction. He left us to talk and catch up most of the night so we did appreciate that. And although the portions were smaller than we expected, the food was good and we cleared our plates.

Classic Benny bacon not too salty. good portion.

This used to be Mimosa now it's called Story. The food is good, the service is great and the decorations........"gatsby style" a little dark for me but good for older costumers ambience wise.(). We used to go here for happy hour, this time we went for brunch and it didn't disappoint. will be back!

This is a late review for the tea experience. This was my second time here, this time my family and I came here for Mother's Day. While my kids ordered off the menu, my husband and I enjoyed the Mat Hatter Tea experience. My kids got the short rib pasta, the biscuits & gravy, and Italian Baked eggs, they enjoyed all of it! And of course I had to steal some of my son's baked eggs since I loved them so much from my last visit. The Mad Hatter's tea is not a traditional tea, but it was fun and different. It was reasonably priced and came with a glass of sparkling wine that you can enhance with a blue liquid (I believe it's a butterfly tea syrup) to change the color into a beautiful purple hue. The tea served is Tea Forte tea bags, rather than loose leaf teas. They do have the typical tea sandwiches, but there are also additional savory items like a cheese pinwheel and a cheese skewer. In addition to the scone and biscuit, they also had danishes and fruit. Wish they had cream for the scones, but they had jam and butter. Loved seeing all the groups dressed up for their tea parties in their fancy hats and having a great time.

Love love love this place! Afternoon tea with the girls, what can be better than that? We parked in the very large parking lot the place was easy to find. We booked a 12:15 tea on a Sunday. The restaurant is beautiful. We weee able to get a sparkling wine with our tea. They had a large selection. The server was amazing. We also ordered a charcuterie to share. We will definitely be back cause everything was delicious. Happy Yelping!

Down the Rabbit Hole at STORY -- Anaheim Hills If you've ever wanted to fall straight into Wonderland, STORY in Anaheim Hills is your rabbit hole. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. STORY is more than a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating, planning a girls' day, or just want to escape into something beautiful, put on your favorite hat and come play. We'll absolutely be back.

My third time back at Story. We did another Mad Hatters Tea party. Towers of small bites of sweet and savory, along with sparkling wine and Drink Me potion. So good! Tip: ask to sit in Vickie's area, especially if celebrating a birthday. She personally adds the "Happy Birthday" to the plate that holds a cup of complimentary ice cream Sunday.

We went to Story for their Mad tea hatters tea and it was very cute aesthetic. The tea service includes tea, a sparkling drink either wine or cider, and an assortment of tea sandwiches and pastry items. The sandwiches were good, the pastries were served warm with cinnamon butter and strawberry (both delicious) which was a treat. However, not sure if the server had too many tables, but it took over 10 minutes for them to come greet us and take our tea and drink orders after we sat down. After our order was taken, she was attentive and friendly.

This is such a cute place with a whimsical vibe the minute you enter the door. They have very creative and random but fun decorations. It's a very spacious restaurant, great for large groups. There are plenty of parties celebrating birthdays, bridal showers, etc. This is my second time here and this time I was here with my daughter to try the Mad Hatter's Tea. Presentation was on par. Everything was cute and whimsy like the decorations. We each got our own teapot and they were so pretty. The tea sandwiches and scones were delicious but the Danish was underwhelming. There were two small pieces for both of us. In addition, there weren't any sweet/dessert-like items such as cakes or mouse. There were some grapes. I guess that's why it's $40 per person? It's been two visits... maybe I'll return if friends want to.

I've been here twice now. The food is fantastic. The service is wonderful. The interior design of the whole place is dreamy!! They have really made this place a fun escape from the world. If you can, definitely try the afternoon tea experience. It's wonderful. Lots of people come try it for special occasions but honestly you don't need a special occasion to come here. It's great for tea, regular lunch or dinner or even happy hour at the bar.

First Experience/Visit This Evening. Was Greeted At Check-In For A Reservation. The 'Story' Was A Story Within Itself. Great, Bold Decor!! Server Vicky Was Very Friendly & Attentive!! On Top Of The Music Playing, The Noise Level Was Pretty High!! I Tried The Dillinger CockTail, Ahi Tuna Tacos, Garlic Green Beans & Short Rib Pasta. Everything Was Pretty Tasty.

Wow! We came for their new Gatsby tea service and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is gorgeous and on point. We started with The Gatsby Effect drink which came in beautiful glasses and a tower that drips butterfly pea tea gin into your glass, changing the color of your drink. There's only one tower option with dinner. It comes with an entire 1 oz container of caviar with crumb fresh, chicken nuggets with crown fresh smoked trout caviar and chives, spicy ahi tuna wonton chip, mini lobster rolls, kettle chips, shrimp cocktail shooters, wagyu sliders, and chicken Caesar salad skewers. Nothing disappointed! Everything was high quality. Shrimp was plump n meaty. The service was great! Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us often. This was a great meal, great service, and great price! I would definitely come back
