Came here one early evening. We were seated on the patio. It was very crowded and loud. The nearby traffic sounds were a bit much. The service was fantastic. Our server was very attentive. Tuna Melt: Delicious! You can choose between a side of potatoes, salad, or fries. I went with the fries, and they were great. Poke Salad: My friend said it was delicious. It had a nice spicy kick, but it was still really good. Thai Pasta: To me, it gave Asian chicken salad vibes--but with spaghetti. It was definitely unique and tasty! OMG! While visiting Orange County we decided on Reunion for a late dinner. We shared appetizers since we couldn't decide on anything else and they did not disappoint. Still the best! I brought my friend whose new to the area here for dinner on a busy Thursday night. Was so fun! World cup playing on all the tv's. Food and service were fantastic, per usual. We both loved the stuffed jalapeño appetizer which does pack some heat when it's all done. I loved my Prime Flat Iron Steak -- cooked medium; it was tender, a lil salty for a couple bites, but otherwise perfectly seasoned. Asparagus was great as well. And the mash potatoes with blue cheese topping were outstanding. My friend loved her short rib, vegetables and mashed potatoes. She had the sauce on the side, suspecting it might be sweet, but it was not. She loved it all. We both had takeout containers because the portions were ample. My cousins and I visited for dinner after a long moving day. They have multiple locations, and I've been to the Santa Barbara location for brunch, so this is my first time visiting for dinner. Parking: They're located in a high foot traffic plaza. Finding a parking spot during rush hour will be difficult. Shout out to our server Elise for being quick and attentive. She checked on us a few times and refilled our waters. Throughput took under 20 min after ordering. Food & drinks: I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and Dad's Mai Tai. The entree included baked & fried chicken thighs, drenched with hot honey Nashville sauce, and served with mac & cheese, green beans, and a biscuit on the side. The sauce was sweet and had a slight spicy kick to it. It made the chicken even more delicious. The mac & cheese was creamy, and the green beans were seasoned well. The biscuit was dry, and the butter didn't really help. I like sweet cocktails, but the Dad's Mai Tai was too sweet for me. The maybe extra shots of rum would've been sufficient. It's an absolute staple for me. Small Plates to Share: Deviled Eggs: These are a must. They don't skimp on the filling, and that bit of bacon adds the perfect crunch. Jalapeño Poppers: The pairing with raspberry jam is genius, that sweet and spicy combo is honestly mouthwatering. The Drinks: My husband is a huge fan of their Bloody Mary. It's heavily garnished with a bacon-wrapped jalapeño popper and finished with a Tajin rim it's practically a meal in itself. They are also one of the few spots offering bottomless mimosas, which is always a plus. What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;) We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back. read more

The asian crispy ribs were amazing and we also enjoyed the coconut shrimp. I never order the specials but I made an exception and ordered the steak entree. I ordered it medium rare and that's exactly what I got. It was delicious. I ordered my husband usual- Captain Morgan and Coke with a lime, no straw. Honestly, I stumbled on my words as I recalled my husband's cocktail of choice to which I received an eye roll from Derrick. I felt bad for not easily remembering something so typical and for frustrating Derrick. I hadn't decided what I wanted so I waited....after my husband joined me I finally settled on a cocktail. Derrick was clearly the only one at the bar - much compassion. However, we waited for 10 minutes while Derrick chatted at the other side of the bar with regulars. How do we know they are regulars? Well, because we are too..... The wait wasn't the problem as much as Derricks response when we finally got his attention. My husband politely agreed with Derrick we had been waiting while he was on the other side of the bar, to which Derrick replied arrogantly, "I was on this side of the bar for a while too!". My thought.....excuse me sir, we have only ordered one cocktail - no appetizers, no questions, no conversation. What did you spend your time on our side of the bar doing? (And with such attitude) We did ask who would be joining him at 5 PM to assist with orders. Steve would - thank goodness! As predicted.....service resumed back to its usual. We did let Steve know there was an issue. Of course, Steve made sure everyone at the bar was tended to in his normal Steve jovial manner. Service with Derrick started to get better also. Management needs to know the potential to Go south REAL QUICK in their staff. Without a doubt, the restaurant industry can be competitive and challenging, similar to healthcare. Personally, I did not enjoy the burger bc it felt too soggy and the bun didn't seem like it was toasted so it fell apart while eating. The salad was ok but also had a weird aftertaste in the dressing. My friend and I did not have a reservation and were seated in the furthest table in the back. It was a weird feeling bc it felt mildly punitive even though there were a number of other options available. It was nice to have a heater lamp for the day we went bc it was cold outside. Not sure if I'd come back after my last experience. On service: Someone in our group has a gluten allergy and clearly ordered the gluten free version of a dish, while another person ordered the regular version. The waitress delivered the gluten free plate to the wrong person and, when asked to confirm, incorrectly stated that it was the regular version. Luckily the friend with the gluten allergy didn't receive the plate yet as they are still making the second one. This is a serious problem... Gluten allergies are NOT a preference, and misidentifying a dish after being asked to confirm shows a lack of attention to a basic safety issue! They would have given my friend the regular dish had she not adamantly call out the waitress due to noticing the bread was different. Moving on, I ordered the salad and added chicken as a protein. Everyone got their food at this point and I waited an additional 10 mins before asking for the status of my salad. She apologized and didn't explain much but said it's coming out. 10 mins past still no salad. another person said it's coming out and obviously she had forgot to put in the order. So when I called her out on it, I said did you just forget to put in the order and she just apologized. When it finally came out, there was no chicken and when asked she had a confused look on her face. So I said I ordered chicken extra as a protein, u even repeated it when I place the order. So unacceptable. Food: The food was just OK. The quinoa salad was sooo oily that defeated the purpose of even ordering a salad for a healthier option. I took it to go bc it was just so bleh and the container was soooo drenched with oil. French onion soup was good but heavy& oily like typical. Brussels sprouts were ok, oily again.
