    Seafood Brodo Pasta ($48)
    Vanessa O.

Tiny restaurant in a strip mall, with tasty though relatively high priced food for the area. Interior is casual, dishes are nicely plated. Steak frites ($46) - tender, tasty, though the butter sauce is too plentiful. Served on a hot plate, so butter was sizzling for much of the meal. I'd prefer half the amount of butter. Signature hamachi crudo appetizer ($28) - a winner, gorgeously plated, tasty but not overpowering. Do get this. Easy reservations online. Chilly temperature so bring a sweater. Hubby and in-laws enjoyed it, so we'll return!

$20 CRISPY PORK: best dish I'll ever eat here! No joke! sous vide pork, outside is perfectly crispy, inside is soft and juicy. 100/100

**UPDATED REVIEW ** OVERALL (5/5): Still absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! I wish they changed things on the menu more often so I could come more often! Anytime they put something new, I must try! You'll never be disappointed. FOOD (5/5): $20 CRISPY PORK: the best dish I think I'll ever have here! No joke! They sous vide the pork, then the outside is perfectly crispy (lightly coated) and it's so soft and juicy inside. I could eat my whole meal with just this dish! 100/100 $23 WATERMELON SALAD: I don't even like watermelon and this was AMAZING! They infuse the watermelon with flavor (mint I believe), and top it with the perfect combination of balsamic, feta cheese, basil, tomato's and citrus. Light, refreshing but oh so flavorful! $43 STEAK FRITES: on the more chewy side, but compared to the sous vide pork I was spoiled. It's a great dish if you want a classic. $48 SEAFOOD PASTA: my least favorite dish of the night. It's a light tasting broth, tons of seafood. Compared to everything else, I choose the flavor bombs.

First time visiting this restaurant that kept popping up on IG feed. First it's true you would not expect this restaurant in a strip mall given the quality of food and pricing. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the wonderful flavors of the Hamachi crudo and Lobster risotto the most! Highly recommend those dishes. The pork belly and on a cotta not my face. The pork belly was underwhelming and the panda cotta was not light enough, definitely does not need a wafer topping. Overall it's good but not my highest rated dinner spot and the pricing for this place a little too high in my opinion.

    CAVIAR & POTATO CHIPS

We came in for a late lunch a while ago, I liked the simple decor and cozy atmosphere of this restaurant. The menu was huge with so many seafood options and limited lunch choices. Great wine list but I wasn't drinking so only hubby had a couple glasses of Cabernet. We were really hungry so we decided on quite a few dishes to share. We started with caviar & chips, also their famous seaweed salad. Followed by wild mushroom risotto, mains were bouillabaisse with house made pasta noodles and lamb rack. The dishes came out at the perfect pace and the portions were generous. For desserts we had chocolate molten cake and creme brûlée. The food was very delicious and creative. I really liked the French style food with Asian twists. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely try to come back sooner than later!

SHORT VERSION: Overall had a great date night dinner for 2 experience at this French Asian fusion restaurant. The ingredients, textures, and flavors were all paired very nicely in each dish we tried. The presentation of every dish we had was immaculate and really elevated the experience (see pics/videos). LONG VERSION: We started with a few slices of French bread that came out fresh from the oven - it had an amazing crust on the outside and was unbelievably melty warm and soft on the inside. I kept asking for more pieces and wish I could have just ordered an entire loaf of it if I'm honest! The presentation of the Hamachi crudo salad was like a piece of art - the dish matched the presentation and the yuzu flavor was unique and refreshing. The shrimp macaron starter was very tasty and the green sauce to dip in had a great spicy kick to it. The Spanish garlic shrimp appetizer was a good size portion that we shared. It came out hot and sizzling on the plate - the shrimp was succulent and the tomatoes and garlic pieces were terrific. For the main dish, we split the uni (sea urchin) pasta. The pasta was home made and delicious. I have never had uni before and it was cool to try a unique and novel flavor but this might not be for everyone (it had somewhat of a bitterness that reminded me of the acquired taste of an olive). The sauce was definitely butter heavy and it evened out the strong flavor of the uni - I found the dish was delicious overall but it is pricey so just make sure you're aware and open minded before you order this. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake/soufflé and this one literally took my breath away and had me rolling my eyes into the back of my head. It was made to order so we had to wait for it to bake, but when it came out, the warmth and quality of the melted chocolate inside was exquisite and the proportions of cake to chocolate to ice cream was absolutely perfect (see video). We don't go out to nice fancy/French restaurants very often, and I'm so glad we indulged with this - it ended the evening in a truly special way. Restaurant ambiance was casual but elegant. Our service was fantastic - we don't eat meat or alcohol and our server helped us navigate the menu to find some great options. Overall, we are grateful for a lovely meal and would recommend anyone else to give it a try if you're looking for a unique and flavorful dining experience.

A little gem in Yorba Linda, which the city could use more of. These dishes are uniquely handcrafted and easily get high honors for presentation. I don't think I've ordered anything here that wasn't adorned with something from a local garden. I think there were even tiny flowers on my steak if I remember correctly. The garnishes kinda match the elegance of the setting which though I admit is a bit plain and monotone in decor, like an outdated hotel room. I'm not an interior decorator by any means, and this has nothing to do with the food, but I think the walls and furniture could be updated to be a little more inviting. Service was bar none. Our server alone served like 4 or 5 tables simultaneously with what seemed like a genuine smile and composure. My only complaint is that I did hear some commanding voices coming from behind the wall during our meal--not sure if the head chef was giving some new workers a pep talk? Maybe they need just need to add better sound insulation between the kitchen and dining area. I have to admit though that just prior to this, we had alerted the server that we had an appointment we had to get to right after our meal, which she made note of and accelerated our order. Soon after, we were amazed at how fast our food came out! So if the chef was rallying the troops with a "Chop, chop!" just for our sake, then all I can say is TYVM!

Came here tonight to have dinner with friends. For the price to us it was honestly meh. Very mid, mediocre restaurant. Casual vibe. My synopsis: Food tastes amazing, portions are so small my 5 year old niece wouldn't even get full lol. The food: The Tuna Tartar was pretty amazing not gonna lie. Full of amazing flavor and freshness. Great appetizer. Just too small. The Uni Pasta was very good. But for someone with my appetite, I could eat 5 of these. That's not an exaggeration. 5. The dish is probably about 300 calories at most. Definitely paying for quality over quantity in this case. But for $43.00 it's too small of a portion. I can get bomb Italian pasta from a fine dining restaurant for $40.00 and get twice the portion size. I know food costs are high these days, but when you find yourself at the drive thru of In N Out (it's where I went after we left here because I was still hungry) then you gotta order more entrees or just eat somewhere else that serves bigger portions. The desserts were pretty delicious. Service: Great service. Except our waitress left in the middle of our dinner and didn't even tell us she was leaving or introduce our new server. She just bolted out the door and we all saw her dip out with her purse. We were like, ok so do we have a server anymore lol. She should have introduced our new server to us. But our drinks were always full. I get we didn't order big tonight so maybe she didn't want to stay and serve our table. Still with tip our bill was almost $300.00. I picked up the tab tonight and if I'm dropping that kind of money I better feel full and satisfied. I wasn't. If you're a big eater this place is definitely not for you. My friend got the Steak Frits and other buddy got the lamb. Again small portions to me. I could have eaten 3 of them. But if you're a small eater with a little appetite and like fusion food, this is your jam.

Came here for my birthday per my friend's recommendation. We made our reservations online and it's very easy. Highly recommend to make reservation as the place is very small. Parking is free outside and not too hard to find parking. Upon arrival, we got some warm breads and butter to greet us. We ordered two appetizers to share hamachi crudo and escargots and they were so tasty. I love the escargots more bc the crudo was on a sweeter side and I prefer my food less sweet. We ordered a steak, a seafood cappuccino and a salad and all were so delicious and fresh. We also ordered two desserts to end our meal. My husband said they have a food selection of wines as well. Server was nice and professional.

Excellent service, unique food, and great ambiance (there was a construction going on right outside but didn't impact inside the restaurant at all)

fancy expensive food. came with 6 girlfriends last November. girlfriend recommended the place but even she was disappointed at tonight's meal. we ordered several different tasting menu items plus some appetizers and desserts. although creative combinations of flavors. but most of the food were a little salty and dark in presentation.

We recently had the chance to experience the Valentine's prix fixe menu at Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda, and it was truly a wonderful evening. The atmosphere felt intimate and refreshing, making it a perfect setting to enjoy a special night out. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, and you could really see the creativity behind the dishes. The menu felt unique and well-balanced, with flavors that were both interesting and delicious. What really stood out was how fun and unique the dishes were--different from anything you typically find at other local spots. It's clear the kitchen enjoys being creative and bringing something special to the table. Another highlight of the evening was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was very personable, warm, and attentive, which made the experience feel even more welcoming and relaxed. The entire experience felt special without being overdone--just a great combination of ambiance, creativity, and quality food. Wild Artichoke did an awesome job with the Valentine's menu, and we're looking forward to coming back again.

Decided to come here for my mom's birthday after hearing so many good reviews about this place and…read moreI was pleasantly surprised! The service was very quick and friendly! We chose to sit in the outdoor rooftop and the ambience was lovely, very cozy. We got the lump crab and avocado stack for an appetizer and it was so delicious! Crispy and well seasoned chips with fresh ingredients in the stack. My parents got the artisan pizza and the arugula salad with salmon and said it was delicious, especially raving about the dressing for the salad and the wonderful amount of meat on the pizza I got the wood fired mushroom pizza and it was soooo good. The crème fraiche wasn't overwhelming and the flavors were just spectacular. Definitely recommend for a nice and cozy dinner in the Yorba Linda area!

We came here after the Whitney Houston Candlelight concert at the Nixon Library, and what a find!…read moreApparently we weren't the only ones with the same idea -- some other people from the concert were at Terra too and recognized us: "Hey, weren't you just at the Candlelight concert?" My sister originally chose Terra because she saw a picture of one of their salads with salmon and knew immediately that was what she wanted. We had no idea we were about to discover a new favorite restaurant. 10/10 -- I've already bookmarked Terra because I will absolutely be back. When we arrived, we told our server we had never been there before and asked what she recommended. Her descriptions of the food were fantastic, and she steered us toward the wood-grilled peaches with burrata and arugula. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely delicious! The grilled peaches, creamy burrata and arugula were such a wonderful combination. Then the salad came out, with salmon added. I took my first bite and was literally speechless. It was an explosion of flavor -- the avocado, salmon, sesame dressing and everything else going on in that salad just worked. The salmon costs extra, but it was absolutely worth it. The peach dish and the salad were completely different flavor experiences, and honestly I would happily order both of them again. We were talking about how we were gonna come back and try to resist ordering the same thing over again, but that will be a challenge. Of course, we were at a wood-fired pizza restaurant, so we HAD to try the pizza. We ordered half-and-half. One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else. I will absolutely be back.

OK. I am a bit tough when it comes to restaurants and reviews. Having worked a long time in the…read moreindustry, I can tell the difference when a restaurant is putting on a show or they are actually quality. This place is top quality. We got there right when they opened at 4pm, and were sat right away by our server at a nice table against the wall. The music was all instrumental super chill vibe in the background as it should be, classic and traditional Italian style mandolin stuff and very relaxing. Romantic even. But let's talk about the food. This is what it looks like when the kitchen takes pride in their work. Absolutely 5 stars on quality, presentation, temperature, texture and balance. The sauces worked perfectly with our respective meals - I ordered the Penne Pesto Chicken and it was quite possibly one of the best pesto sauces I have ever had. The soup on special was a crafted delight of a Toscana style cream base and was simply beautiful with potato, kale, white beans and ground sausage. My wife had a black and white fettuccini with a lobster tail and shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. You can feel the authenticity of a scratch kitchen in the sauces. They even make the bread in house. We knew it would be too much, but we ordered the zucchini special and it was another thing on the list that just fired on all cylinders. Perfect batter around zucchini flower and ricotta cheese, with marinara on the plate and a beautiful presentation. The service was flawless. The server was charming, smooth, and confident in his recommendations. He suggested a wine that was matched beautifully to the whole meal. Even the f***ing oil and vinegar bottle was sexy. COME ON. The only reason we didn't get dessert was that we were totally stuffed. Took food home, but if we didn't get the app and soup, the portion is perfect. locked in for this place. 100% will return.

The service here was also the cherry on the top. They have plenty of seating and a bar in the middle with TV's, I was watching the beginning playoff run of the Warriors there this year :( I ordered the flat iron steak which was cooked perfectly and pair well with spinach and a side of fries. The fries were good, I was just a bit confused if their were oily or they had truffle sauce on it. Calamari was also pretty good, I would get that again. The lighting was making all my food look really greasy on the black plates but overall it was a good meal. I would definitely come back to try more.

I came here last Thursday night hoping it's a good place to try. I've ordered Strawberry Margarita (cocktail), Fish and Chips, and Butter Cake. Fish and Chips was pretty good. Fish was nice and flakey which makes it delicious. Portion size of the fries was more than I expected. Pretty unusual for Fish and Chips or any other items that comes with fries. Strawberry Margarita.... Not bad... but I had better ones elsewhere though. Butter Cakes (includes ice cream).... Pretty good. It's freshly made. Great presentation. Very delicious. Service..... Good, but I feel they were a little slow. They should try to speed it up more. Heck, I work in hospitality... good service and efficiency are very crucial when it comes to sense of urgency. 4 stars.
