I'm not sure what happened to this place but I was a regular here and there are some concerns that need to be addressed: The portion sizes have gone down but the prices have sky rocketed. $20 per meal after tax, even a breakfast meal is way too high. I have ordered the house burrito and they did not put bacon or sausage only ham inside. Be careful when you order in the drive-thru. The menu prices say $13 for example for a plate but it is not accurate. It is actually $2-3 more and is false advertising. When the lady tells you the price it's so much higher even with the tax I always have other peoples food in my food mixed. Example: tomato slices, ends of sausage or bell pepper, and a hair The drinks have been watered down for over a year. The syrup needs to be changed and less ice. Also no carbonation. When you get the receipt of overpaying you can't even see a breakdown of what you ordered, just a big grand total This does not seem legal at all. Incorrect menu prices, overcharging, then not giving you a breakdown just a higher total. Seems really shady to me and the food is honestly plain bland. I'll never return here sadly. I'll have to go somewhere else in the area where they show you the charges and are on top of things. Please do better read more

Stopped in while visiting Mickey Cohen Motorsports and decided to give this place a try. Glad I did. It was busy when I arrived, which is usually a good sign. I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs with hashbrowns and a pancake. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked right. The ribeye was especially impressive, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality and portion size. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a good experience. The restaurant itself deserves a mention too. It appears to have been recently remodeled or updated. The booths, paint, decorations, and overall atmosphere were clean, fresh, and well thought out. It has that classic diner feel without feeling dated. Good food, fair prices, great staff, and a very nice dining room. Whoever put this place together did a great job. I chose sourdough for my polish sausage sandwich. It was really good with lettuce and yellow mustard. The temperature was over 90 degrees so I also got a root beer, which was light on ice without me asking. We received the fried chicken for chicken and waffles but had to wait for the latter, so it's really chickens and waffle. Back again for another breakfast burrito. I swear this place is owned by a couple different guys because there's a Tom's Place, Steve's Place, Perry's Place... This one was packed with eggs, crispy potatoes, bacon, sausage, ham, melted cheese, and little pieces of tomato and onion all wrapped up in a grilled tortilla. Every bite had a little bit of everything in it, and they definitely don't skimp on the meat. The potatoes made it extra filling too. One thing though... every single time I come to this location I wait at least 15 minutes for my food no matter if it's drive-thru or walk-in. I've only tried them for breakfast, and the plates I've had have been delicious. Scrambled eggs scrambled just right. Good, well-cooked and browned hash browns. Nicely toasted bread. Crispy, not floppy bacon. I can't speak for the other options that take place later in the day, like the burgers, burritos, salads, and other diner-type food, for this is a diner, but I'm sure they do that stuff well, as well. It's a nice, quiet, chill diner with excellent, friendly service in a clean setting. In the area and in need of some nourishment? Give Perry's Place a try. Oh, and the prices ain't bad neither. They offer drive thru and dine dine service. The place is kept clean with large TV screens visible wherever you sit in the dining room. I ordered a sausage and egg breakfast burrito. Love how the tortillas were seared on the griddle. The hot salsa was one of the best I've had. My only complaint is the amount of potatoes in the burrito just drowned the sausage and the egg. We love coming here. They have a huge variety of food on their menu from breakfast to dinner. I love that I can have breakfast all day here. My hubby loves that he can get Mexican food, burgers or the best fried chicken he has ever had here. Their prices are super reasonable too. Plenty of seating and parking is ok. It does get pretty busy at times. Staff are nice and they bring the food to the table when you dine in. The place is clean and comfortable. We enjoy eating here when we are in the area and wish they had more locations closer to us than just the 2. But we will definitely continue to visit them as they have great tasting food at great prices. read more

If you're someone who frequents the hat pastrami, imagine the complete opposite of their thin sliced pastrami. The flavor is nearly the same however. The fried zucchini was delicious, super thick spears of zucchini, thinly battered and fried. Onion rings were really good (just wish they included more in comparison to the zucchini) Service at the drive through was quick and friendly as it always is, ambiance inside seemed quiet given it was a weeknight. I was curious because I pass by this busy intersection and so my wife and I went for lunch at this diner at Lakeview and La Palma. My first impression was that the parking could be limited during lunch. It's very clean and the interior was nice with black and red booths and OC murals..,chic and clean. You go to the counter to order first. We ordered the fish sandwich and a burger and a half and half order of fries and onion rings. We got the burger first and maybe 5-7 minutes later we got the fish sandwich and another 5-7 minutes later we got the fries and onions rings. My wife thought the fish sandwich was dry and asked for mayonnaise and the fish was tasteless and bland. My burger was cold and had too much lettuce and very little tomato, onions and pickles. Table service is general was okay but I was curious why the food couldn't come all the once? Overall, I would rate the experience as okay but needs improvement read more

The food, service, and dining room were top notch. To top it off, service was quick. We got the burger specials with side of fries and a drink.
