We had lunch at this location and at the end the waitress almost forced my wife to leave a 5 star review. I politely told her that we were in a rush and would leave a review later but she insisted that we left a review at that time because we would forget. By the end she was basically trying to intimidate us to leave a review as if it were mandatory. Very very unprofessional. That explains why such a below average place has so many 5 star reviews especially on Google. After I told her I would not leave a review she got mad and started taking her time to bring us our bill and at the end she didn't even say thank you. She is lucky they had already charged a 20% service fee because I would not have left a tip. The same waitress earlier had dropped our coke and glass with ice and made a mess so I can see her skills are compatible with her professionalism. We were truly disappointed by the service. Food was just ok and the drink prices are exorbitant. The cheapest domestic beer is $10 and a can of coke is $7 so you can have an idea. Drinks such as piña colada are $20 and up. With so many options around I will never return to this place and I don't recommend it. read more

Very tough decision picking a Spanish or Mexican restaurant in an area with so many options, but this cute corner spot caught our eye with its floral decor and pops of color throughout the seating area. The wait staff was very polite and prompt with everything we needed. The drinks were good, but for the price we decided to stick with just one round. We shared the chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling and smelling great, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly with really good flavor. Unfortunately, the tortillas were flimsy and broke apart easily, so they did not hold the fillings well. In this part of Miami there are probably more authentic Spanish spots to choose from, but this place still offered a pleasant overall experience. read more

Everything was great until we got the bill with a 20% service fee that did not go to the servers. So if you tip 20% you're looking at 40%, on top of the check. No explanation of what the service fee is for, and not disclosed until you get the check. I feel like the staff probably gets stiffed because of this, no return business from us solely based on this. The owner should be ashamed of scalping customers and putting staff in the uncomfortable position of having to explain this junk fee. This will likely be the demise unfortunately. read more

So the enchiladas and Steak Fajitas were good but the Chicken flautas were a bit on the salty side. The mojito was pure alcohol for the people that enjoy just that is good. The flan was delicious and different the most flans. The churros also good but they are like Brazilian style more then Mexican to me. A bit pricey but overall decent food. read more

Seriously disappointed. Came here for lunch ordered two failsafes a classic marg and chicken enchiladas. It was empty and I maybe should have heeded the warning but my dumb a$$ thought I got lucky. Margarita, if you can call it that, tasted like prepackaged lemonade that has been watered down. Decoy there was no sour no tang only a hint of citrus and a little of fake sugar. Was there alcohol? For $19 I'd expect to at least taste it and it was awful. No flavor no booze. Despite being one of only four customers, my food arrived cold. Also, lacking salt and more importantly, flavour. It's been a while since I seriously misjudged a restaurant but this one restarts the clock on that. Most pointless overly expensive lunch I e had in years and I hate that I even paid. They also add a 20% service charge and while the staff are friendly, forcing people to overpay for subpar food and then tacking on a top notch mandatory service charge seems predatory. The appetizers started good small portions though.nowwww once our meals came out different story my boyfriend got a churrasco plate that came with rice and beans on the menu when he got his plate there was rice no beans and a ton of salad. We mentioned it do the waiter they said that's what we ordered. We didn't! So they bring a bowl of beans long after he finished his plate. To then charge us for the beans that was supposed to be on the plate the first time. The chips they served were stale as hell oh and it was about a handful of chips to go with a guacamole that was def not made fresh. It tasted like it came from a pchage. Ate here on a whim. The ability to make a reservation was fast and simple. The place is small and has inside and outside seating. It is clean and has nice staff. There was only one waiter, but the rest of the staff were polite enough to get us our drinks, to go boxes and other things. I had the chicken burrito which was good, but large. My partner had the chicken quesadilla which was good as well. Our friends had the enchiladas (with red sauce) and were able to substitute the rice and beans for a side of veggies. We all shared the guacamole- large portions and flavorful. The food was good. I wished the chicken had a little more flavor, but everything else was good. read more

I was looking for a Mexican place with good reviews in south beach and this seemed to have great reviews! I was very disappointed from the beginning that started with a slow service, she asked if we'd like water I said yes, she brought out a bottle of Panna which was open and looked dirty on the outside. To me I just thought maybe they just give you reused bottled water, so I really didn't mind it but come to find out we were charged $9 for it. I honestly believe they just reuse it, and fill it up to gain $9. The option should've been tap or bottled. I would've preferred tap since I ordered drinks anyway. We started with the elotes which were just one piece of corn cut in half for $14. The corn wasn't bad honestly! We ordered for dinner steak fajitas and steak enchiladas, both come with a side of beans and rice. The steak in both were honestly terrible. The beans and rice are super small portioned and the rice is plain white rice with some pico on top. I'd actually say that's not even mexican. Mexican rice I've always had has color to it. It's just a lazy way to make rice and turn food in my opinion. We get our bill it comes out to $114 that's with a 20% service fee and has additional tip on it. (This is with the $9 water) The waitress asked if we wanted a shot of free tequila and asked if we can scan a review barcode and leave her name and a 5 star review but if we were not going to give 5 stars don't leave her name. Honestly my wife wanted the shot but I'm not bought over a shot for a review. I read reviews to go eat places and this place mislead me by doing this. It's bad business, especially google reviews and yelp. People are easily bought I know this but no way I'm getting bought after being charged for bad service and terrible tasting food. This place should be shut down, it looks run down, the margaritas we're watered down with no liquor and charged 24 dollars for each margarita the food was cold, fish tacos tasted as if they were frozen, guacamole had no flavor. We complained various times to the server and the only time the manager approached us was to ask us to move so he could accommodate a party of nine. We were charged $94 for guacamole, peregrino and two so called margaritas, OUTRAGEOUS !! and on top of everything else, we were charged a 20 percent service fee.
