Exquisite Nails Spa is under new management as of June of 2024. As a previous review stated, the owners Kathy & Jimmy have taken over and opened up their own business after working in a local Naperville salon for the last few years. This family owned salon is extremely clean, the staff is extremely nice and very talented. One thing I really enjoyed about my time here was that my manicure and pedicure were not rushed. You can tell they take their time and want to give you the best service possible which I truly appreciate. Kathy and Jimmy have invested a lot into rehauling this space. The color selection alone is extremely impressive and they're dedicated to having popular and trending shades for the seasons! Both the manicure and pedicure station chairs are extremely comfortable and all of the tools/pedicure bowls and stations were very clean. Exquisite nails salon also has a really great customer relationship management tool that they use on their iPads. At the end of your first service you make an account, you add in what you had done as well as the last 4 digits of your phone number to earn points to eventually get a dollar amount off your next purchase! I first noticed this nail salon about a year ago when I parked over by the kohls and walked past it. Honestly, it didn't look very inviting ( looked run down) and then I read the reviews which were not good. I then heard that they were under new ownership (June 2024?) with new employees and thought I'd give it a try . First thing I noticed is that it was cleaned up and redecorated, has more of a spa feel now. The new owners Jimmy & Kathy came from another salon up by Showplace 12 in Naperville. I had the dip & a pedicure done, they took their time & I didn't feel rushed! My nails were perfect!! They even offer an incentive that you can earn1 point of every dollar spent & once you get 500 points you get $15 cash back or if you refer someone you get 50 points. I can't say enough nice things about this place and highly recommend that you try them. It's very rare that you can say this about a nail salon and I've been to many!! People that work here are super nice. However...I had a lot of issues. When I called to make an appointment, I specifically asked for dipping on my toes and fingers, they said no problem. The spa pedicure was great, until they started young gel. I told the to stop and the said that they could do powder on my toes... I'm like whatever.... But I want dipping powder on my hands... and they said okay.. Once it was time for my manicure, they started doing gel...I said no gel.... I want powder!!!!! They said no, and at the point I'm trying very hard not to be rude because of how frustrating it has been. Anyway I told them whatever..... do gel.... I was so over it! (I suggest seeing either Maya or Kim they're amazing at what they do) (also this place is really good price wise) First off can I just say that I've been to a lot of nail salons, and by far, this place is not only the best skill wise, but in atmosphere too. Other salons have bad lighting and terrible ventilation with all the nail products they use, but not here. I drive across town to go here passing at least 4 nail salons, and I don't regret it because of the results. I got a no chip manicure by Nicole and she was amazing! She told me everything she was going to do before she did it and made sure nothing hurt. She chatted with me while I was getting my nails done and helped me pick out a color. They turned out great and look amazing! They are so friendly and nice there. While getting my pedicure they began the process of taking off my old no chip (as most people know that's the longest part). This cut my time there in half. The employees speak good English, which is a plus to when having to explain what you want. I will definitely return and tell my friends about it! My cheap set is the most horrible experience I've ever had with a full set. And somehow not only did my hands wind up gouged but so did my pocket book. The tech cut my finger behind the nail and ignored my cry of pain and bleeding. 40$ for a rush job that's too thick. Uneven gel and lengths. I went in and made an appointment for later. I went back and they assigned a male nail tech who didn't know what he was doing. I asked for someone else and another tech said she would do my pedi and no chip. Only for her to say she has a 4:30 that never showed up and sorry she couldn't service me. I really hate leaving negative reviews. And Yelp very rarely lets me down. First, I'll say that the staff was very friendly and accommodated us without an appointment so that was cool. I got a no-chip mani and my daughter got acrylic nails. Again the manicurist was very friendly, but when we were comparing nails in the car we notice both of us had "pits" in the polish and visible brush marks. Then my nails started to chip by day 4 and by day five there were huge chips in 4 if my nails. On day 7, while washing my hands the polish just pealed back on my thumb. I'm not hard on my hands or nails and this has never happened so early to me before. I normally get a full 2 weeks out of my no-chip. Unfortunately the salon is about 45 minutes from where I live and I work full time so returning was not an option. It's a shame because this was a nice salon. read more

This place is amazing. Under new management I had to come check it out. This place takes a way the fear of sanitation. It is so clean. They even use cups and spoons to grab their products out of containers. Gloves and full bleach cleaning. They have 15% off right now on all services which is a great promotion. Very professional staff. All their chairs are new and work amazing. I also got an eyebrow wax and they are so gentle and skilled. I would give them 10 stars if I could . Great job new management!! they did my nails very nicely and i really liked them. i have no complaints other than one thing. the lady answered her phone like she wasn't at work and had it on speaker phone while she was talking quite loud. she also was eating a carmel candy and was chopping on it which was very rude and inconsiderate. she did not wash her hands after she touched her mouth to eat the candy. she was also the only employee NOT wearing a mask. the nails were very nice and looked amazing. i'm not giving it a poor rating for the quality of their work but for the way the employees were acting. read more

Lily does an excellent job with nails, is personable and friendly, and encourages feedback. If there's something you like, let her know. I went in for a quick polish change and chose the old standard "Bubble Bath" color of OPI. I kept telling them that it was not the correct color in the bottle. For the last 12 years, "Bubble Bath" has been an almost clear, pinkish color. I know that the polish in this bottle was bogus . . . it was an off white, creamy color and went on very gloppy. Not a very reliable business owner that they wouldn't know this! Will not go back as I don't trust where they get their products. read more
