Wow, Michele did a fabulous job on my nails. I love them! They've held up for several days now and I can't understand why they got such poor reviews.

I do really like my nails but I wish I wasn't gaslit into going home with a messed up nail.. "it's just a small smudge" the small details DO MATTER to me and I'm sure to your other customers too. Other than that I'd say I had a good experience. The shop is clean, cute and quiet.

Sorry to say this but to not go. Went in for no chip and received the wrong color: they said I could come back for a change for complimentary service and then denied me service even after I booked an appointment with owner Steven. Terrible service! My nails came on in less than a week.

I have been going to Magic Nails for about 2 years now. As someone who does not get my nails done often, I consider it a treat when I decide to do it. Every time I have gone, I return to this spot due to the friendly service and quality manicure and pedicure treatments. The price is fair more reasonable than most places in Naperville and I always get my nails done exactly how I envisioned. I highly recommend asking for Steven as well!

Pros: convenient location, tons of color choices, affordable Cons: nail tech didn't feel comfortable with deluxe manicure (didn't know what she was doing), left polish all over my hand, nails were uneven and polish is completely bubbly. Bottom line: will not be returning. There are many better salons in the area that are affordable and do a much better job.

Excellent work. Justin & Michelle are my go to for my nails. Very friendly and thorough.

Absolutely Amazing! I wanted my nails done for TS the Eras Tour and they came through! Super kind and talkative. They were so patient with me and my design. Would definitely come again!

They do not accept tips on cards!! I want to make sure this is known because I just got an amazing dip powder manicure and I was unable to tip at the moment because I don't carry cash (I'm currently traveling and staying at the nearby hotel) The services were very quick and professional and I love the way my nails came out

The salon staff was friendly and prompt. I came in about ten minutes early for my appointment. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and they were happy to do what I requested. The nail tech who worked with me was friendly and asked how I was doing several times throughout the appointment. I chose powder dipped nails, which is a little bit pricier, but so much better. She did a great job and even walked another tech through the process. I'm all about training in the workplace. Great nail salon. It's clean and organized.

This is what I had asked for (as close to).....

On a Monday afternoon the place was extremely busy. Almost every station was filled. They take appointments and walk ins. Pricing is a little higher in comparison to other nail salons, IMO though it's worth it. I got a French dip manicure by Liz and a green tea pedicure by Jenny. Both services were relaxing and the ladies did a great job. I didn't love how I had both done at the same time, however, they asked me before hand if that was OK. Going forward I'll probably try and get them separate so I can enjoy each service on its own. This was my first time getting a dip manicure and I'm really happy with how my nails turned out. I was getting no chip manis for 15+ years, but as a mom with a newborn... I need something that's stronger and NOT going to chip or scratch my baby. It's been 4 weeks and my nails still look great and haven't chipped at all.

Well, I had to make an exception this week because I have a few upcoming events for which I'll be wearing open-toed dressy sandals in freezing temps (apparently cleaving to my grandmother's credo that you have to "suffer to be beautiful" -- what is wrong with us, women?!) Anyway, cue the need for a toe job. I'd recently gotten a coupon in one of those ValPak mailer things advertising this place, and since it's so nearby (and they were advertising an $18 basic pedicure) I gave it a whirl. The location is an unassuming nail salon tucked into the corner of the shopping mall between Super H Mart and KMart. Decor was simple (some vases of faux flowers, some '80s glamour shots of ladies' hands with talon-like blood-red nails holding pearls etc.), but the place was clean and the service was quick. I was a walk-in shortly after they opened and got served right away (not too much staff on hand). Sarah, my technician, was sweet and quiet and went at my cuticles with an almost surgical focus and precision. I wish I'd been given a little more time to dry at the end; despite the 10 minutes under the UV dryer and a spray of nail drying stuff, she put me back in my socks and boots, and later when i got home the polish on both big toes was slightly wrinkled (not enough to notice from afar, and since it's a lustrous color it hides it better -- if it were matte it would be really obvious!) As stated, I had the coupon, but even the regular price is good for this area: $25. They did not have a take-home handbill (the manager said they were being printed), but the "menu" at the desk outlined their various offerings. (note: I don't know if these prices were limited time or if they're a sort of perpetual "sale".) The "basic" (which I got) includes all the usual clipping, filing, painting etc. as well as hot towels and a lotion leg rub; the regular price is $25 but the sale price was listed as $19.99 (and with my coupon even less). Hot Stone is normally $35, sale $25. Princess (sugar scrub, callous removal, parrafin dip and hot towel) is normally $40, sale $28. And the Signature (a combo of Hot Stone and Princess) is normally listed as $70 but on sale as $49. The one big downer was the fact that toward the end of the session (during the polishing part), the manager guy started pulling out tools and using an electric saw to cut through a plexiglass shelving unit on the floor about 5 feet from us. REALLY loud and killed the relaxation that I'd been cultivating throughout the rest of the session. I guess guys don't think about these things, but seriously -- I was the only person in the place, and she was almost done; he couldn't wait 10 more minutes til I left? It was so loud that she had to ask me the same thing 4 times (whether I wanted a design painted on the nail) and I couldn't hear her at all. Overall, the price was appealing, but the atmosphere (especially with the sawing) left something to be desired. I'm not sure it's love; maybe Nail Love and I will be "just friends."

A couple of things. 1.) Location - VERY hidden, it is right next to the H-Mart grocercy store, driving by it on the street-on Ogden, I don't think you would be able to see it. BC of the hidden location, when I got my pedi there was no one! So no line, or wait. :) 2.) Ambience - The place looks ok, decorations and chairs, etc are just a tad bit out-dated. A scale of 1 - 10, I give it a 5. 3.) Cleanliness - Out of a scale of 1-10 I would give this place a 7.8. Some of the washer thingies where you get pedi's are questionable. 4.) Price - Price is AMAZING, compared to the other places around Naperville. It's $19.99 for a pedi OR $30 for pedi & mani. There is a popular place on Diehl Rd & Freedom-called Magic Nails, I heard their pedi is $30---I feel like $30 for a pedi is kinda ALOT for me right now.... Especially when I know a place is offering a pedi&mani for $30, and the usual place I go to is $22. 5.) Nail colors - This is the only thing that bothered me. The nail color selection was ver minimal...................... It sucked. They need to get more colors/newer nail polishes. You can kinda tell some of them are old. I wanted a nice plum - ish color for upcoming fall, couldn't quite find it... I suggest you bring your own fave nail color from home. 6.) Experience - The woman who did my pedicure did a great job. No cuts, etc. She properly cleaned my feet, scrubbed etc. The massage she gave was good too. The people were extremely nice.
