I noticed that the tech wasn't doing a lot of things that I usually get done at other locations, but I didn't really pay it no mind so for the most part, the paint job was like a toddler, painting And that's after I sat there for an hour next I get my feeling as she does it again I'm noticing techniques that I haven't had done before so she started painting again. Kim is my absolute favorite! But, all of the staff are nice, kind and capable. I don't get anything special, so I can't speak to those things. I get a no chip mani and basic pedi. Kim knows just how i like it and she knows my spots that need a little extra attention. I also appreciate when Kim advises me on when i pick a nail color that doesn't work well with my skin tone! Stopped going there a while back because I had an appointment and waited 30-40 minutes with my feet in cold water and finally walked out. Decided to try again today. Had a pedicure today. It took 24 minutes. The tech didn't talk, she grunted, yanked on my feet when she was done, didn't use the cuticle lotion on the cuticles , (she hardly touched the cuticles) and she didn't massage my feet, it was more like a limp rub while SHE WATCHED THE NEWS. I was a walked in for a French tip manicure fill in. It was my first visit to this shop. The manicurist was friendly and took time on each step. I think I was there almost an hour. The $50.00 price was $5 more than I was quoted at the desk but one of my French tips had to be replaced. I am used to less white and more pink, so bring a photo if you have a preference. The shop is very clean and has a large screen TV to pass the time. My French tips normally last 2 months. read more

My mom and I had a little time on our hands and we decided to get our nails done! I was extremely excited to show my mom the power of powder dip nails because of how beautiful they look and their longevity. Unfortunately, the experience was not at all what I was hoping for. They didn't shape my moms nails, and when they tried to shape mine, all my nails were different shapes and sizes. Upon the application of the powder, my nails looked like bubble nails. The tips were way to thick and the top of my nails barely had powder on it, to a point where you could see my natural nail. Powder dip is known for its ability to last weeks. My moms chipped within a few days, as shown in the picture. Definitely will not be coming back. Too bad too, the prices were extremely reasonable, but not worth the pathetic job done. read more

Loving the new building. Everything was nice and new - the pedicure chairs were heaven. I got a no chip OPI basic spa pedicure for $45 and a full set of acrylics with no chip OPI on top for $55. The ladies did a great job, atmosphere was clean and didn't smell like a nail salon (points for that). Even stayed open an extra 15 minutes and didn't try to rush me out the door. I decided to treat myself to a mani-pedi for my birthday and did NOT enjoy my experience. I selected light pastel colors as I do nearly EVERY SINGLE TIME I get my nails done. In my opinion, softer colors are the most complimentary on deeper skin tones. Anything other than Funny Bunny or soft pink is adventurous for me. My middle nails have a darker colored line. This is not uncommon for people with a darker complexion. It's genetic. Every single aunt and my mom have the same middle fingers. After my pedicure (which has already chipped 4 hours later), the woman who was going to do my mani kept insisting I select darker colors like burnt orange, brown, or gold because my nails were "too dark" for the springy lavender and pink combo I picked out. I hurriedly selected a "safe" pink color that she tried to talk me out of. After moving from the pedicure station to the manicure table, I decided to switch back to a springy color. It's my birthday and I'll choose what I want to (choose what I want to). The employee who was supposed to do my nails then had the man who gave me a pedicure do my nails instead of doing them herself. I was fine with that since he was more friendly. As the man doing my nails started adding the colored polish on top of the cured base coat, the lady who opted out of doing my nails decided to sit and watch. If you opt out then you should fully opt out. A third employee also briefly stopped by to watch me get the color they felt pigmented nails were "too dark" for . It's so freaking annoying to have employees in the beauty industry watch you like a zoo exhibit. You can easily just go home and YouTube or Google tutorials for dark skinned people instead of making a client uncomfortable. Better yet, just listen to the person who knows what has lived long enough to know what works for her body instead of being pushy and repeatedly using the phrase "too dark." Had I driven myself, I would've opted out of the mani and gone elsewhere. I didn't drive, though, and the base coat was already cured when the spectating began. Instead of a pleasant post-work birthday treat, I got a very awkward mani as they sat there and discussed me and my color choice. I know this bc they kept using the English word for the color I chose. Lessons learned- ALWAYS drive if it's raining and do your research. read more

The ambiance of the nail salon is wonderful so is the pedicure setup! However, the technician, Ann, is inexperienced when it comes to polish with no chip. My no chip is lumpy to say the least and when she used the incorrect color she didnl not take it all off which created a halo of a different color around mt cuticle...tacky! Was in town for the holidays and went to get a manicure with a girlfriend. $35 for a no chip manicure is pretty standard --- having the manicure chip within 1 day is NOT. My nail technician was done with my "manicure" before my girlfriend was even getting polish on her nails (we were seated at the same time). She then filed my nails after my no chip was applied....? In the first three days I had 5 chips in my nails - one week in and I had half of my manicure cracked and chipped off. My no chip lasted a mere 24 hours. Not sure why my technician was in such a rush to be done when there were only three costumers in the entire place --- as opposed to the hour long wait and two other local salons. Worst no chip manicure and pedicure. I can do a better job painting my toenails with my left hand (i'm right handed). Paint all over my skin and that's how the girl left it. Plus, it was more expensive than any other pedicure i've ever gotten. NO CHIP manicure, that's a joke. One nail chipped within 24hrs and unfortunately I was out of town for a wedding so I couldn't go back to have them repair it. The remaining no chip peeled off within a week.
