The Brazilian wax: The most painful wax I've had in a while. She trimmed my hair before she waxed, causing a lot of the hairs actually too short to be waxed. I felt like she was doing a great job, being very in depth and going over the same spots many times I thought . "Man I'll be spotless" WRONG After all the pain I went through I had to go home and go over with plucking, and actually waxing , myself.. This is TMI but the "beyond" part was barely waxed. I gave 2 stars because she was very nice, and tried her best in my eyes. She finished with oils to help with the stickiness. Left with a 15$ tip for a 22$ wax. Absolute worst wax I have ever gotten. Upon getting home, I realized the entire thing was like a dull shave. About 90% of the hairs weren't even pulled out - just broken off at short stubble length. A wax is supposed to leave you smooth - mine felt like a day-old shave. VERY dissatisfied. Seems that their specialty is threading, so if you're looking for a wax, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Bought a groupon for a Brazilian wax here. It was not what I expected. I was waxed by the owner who was super nice. But I have to agree with the other reviewers that: 1. The private room isn't that private. There is not ceiling and it is basically a partitioned wall with a door. 2. The room was not welcoming and was a bit dirty. 3. I should have walked out but I didn't. 4. She used the same dipping stick over and over and never changed it. 5. She also reused the waxing strip paper over and over. Both of which is very unsanitary. Overall I think they should stick to threading because that seems like their specialty. read more

I came here for the first time to get my face (brows, cheek, upper lip, etc.) threaded for a special event later in the week. I made a reservation ahead of time but I found out that my appointment ended up being pushed back an hour because the woman working was behind and was serving other customers. Once it was finally my turn, the woman threaded my face quickly and efficiently and was very friendly. However, once I got home, my entire face was red and had small bumps all over! I understand that this reaction to some extent is a natural result of threading, but I specifically told the woman that the event was in a few days and that it was my first time getting threaded. I wish that she would've warned me or advised me about this... or even give me something to deal with the after effects. I ended up having to cake on makeup to attempt to conceal the damage... I don't like to leave bad reviews, especially since the ladies that worked with me were so nice! I enjoyed the conversation at my appt. But I tried eyelash extensions here and didn't have great results. It hardly looked like I had extensions on in the end and I felt like the service wasn't worth even the Groupon price. It was worse when I went to another salon to get them fixed and they told me they would need to remove the lashes I just had put on, because they were glued to multiple lashes with way too much glue. Luckily Groupon was willing to refund some of the money, but I ultimately had to pay more to get them all fixed. I would not recommend getting eyelash extensions here, sorry to say! read more

As anyone can see through the reviews eyelashes are a big topic . i sadly was one of the people who fell victim . After having them done and sitting for about 2.5 hours they looked absolutely ridiculous and were glued together . now at this point the women ( rahdi) may be spelling her name wrong began to tweeze at them . At this point i was highly upset and wanted my money back . after making another appointment to take them off i was told to let them naturally fall out - and look crazy with half of lashes on one eye and the other full lashes . she asked me to sit down and began tweezing at the extensions which were plucking at my own lashes ...... after i yelled she finally stopped and was told just brush them you will be fine . i will never come here again and suggest no one else falls victim to this. read more

Ridhi was AMAZING. As someone who never got their eyebrows threaded before I was very hesitant on where to go to do so! I needed my eyebrows done ASAP and was just going to stick with waxing but that was until the nice ladies here convinced me that threading is even better! I, nervously, agreed to sit and let her do her thing while stressing I wanted them thick and arched. She NAILED IT. when she showed me that mirror when finished I was almost screaming with joy LOL. I've been meaning to write this review for awhile, and I just kept putting it off for one reason or another... No matter, it's here now! I've been to this beauty salon three times now. I saw a deal on groupon for a deal on three brazilian waxes for ~$40, and it brought me to this beauty salon. The first time I came here, I honestly almost did not want to come back. The service was okay - but an older lady did my wax, and it was excruciatingly painful, and when I got home, I saw there were sections that weren't completely waxed off. Plus, the floor was dirty in the room where she did my wax, and that really irked me. Overall, I was pretty upset, and I seriously considered not going back to use the other 2 visits even though I had already paid for it. I decided to give it another shot, and I went back for the second visit about a month later, and a different lady by the name of Ridhi did my wax this time. My experience was completely different. Not only was I so much happier with the outcome from this one (I was clean! and so was the floor!), but Ridhi also provided me with some of the best customer service that I have legitimately ever gotten anywhere, at any point in time, in my short young life. She was so accommodating, letting me come in for my appointment at 7, when they closed at 6pm (I had no idea until I walked in and saw their hours on the door); she was so kind, and continued to talk to me so I would feel more comfortable during this terrible process. And best of all, IT WASN'T PAINFUL! I live in Brockton, and I drive 25 minutes, and past probably 4 or 5 beauty salons on the way, for Ridhi to do my wax every month now. I will literally not go anywhere else. Yeah, sometimes it sucks to have to drive that far, and I have to plan in advance when I want to make an appointment (but because of my schedule, not because they don't accept walk-ins; they also have no problem scheduling same day appointments), but the pros outweigh the cons, and it's nice to be able to go and have someone who really feels like a friend, and who cares about you, doing this. I never used to feel comfortable having somebody wax me down there; actually, it's a pretty uncomfortable experience no matter what way you think about it. But I have no problem with Ridhi doing it for me now, and that's probably the biggest deal to me. read more

I got a Brazilian wax from them once and they did in under 15 minutes. I had ingrown hairs from the wax and the process was extremely painful. Mind you, I been waxing my downstairs area for over 3 years, one per month. Not just that, but she didn't even wipe away the wax with oil. I was left in a sticky mess. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE! I legit had no idea the Brazilian was done when she finished. She strives to make the appointment as comfortable as possible. I went here based on the reviews so I thought I'd change my eyebrow place and try something new. I had no idea it would be the worst change for my eyebrows. I specifically told the woman to do my brows as thick as possible. I was growing them out for a couple of weeks and needed them to be thick. When I was done my brows were extremely thin and my right brow was off as if she took off too much. In summary, I walked in wanting a clean up to keep my thick brows and I walked out with the complete opposite. If I specifically had not requested to keep them as thick as possible I'd totally understand that's on me, but I was very clear on what I wanted. read more

I love this place. I had some time on my hands today so I stopped in for a quick wax and facial. I've been here before but only had waxing done. And thought the place was great then but now I love it even more. And this is why: I didn't have enough time for both today so I changed the facial to a lactic treatment with high frequency because I've been breaking out on my chin. Oh. My. God. It was awesome. She spent extra time, did not stinge on the high frequency. I felt glowing afterwards As to the waxing, they convinced me to try the threading. Unbelievable! Normally I never leave bad reviews, but I am so incredibly disappointed by my experience here that I need to. I scheduled a full leg and Brazilian wax a week ahead of time to coincide with a vacation I'm taking. When I arrived I had to wait about 15 minutes past my scheduled time, but I didn't mind. I went in and told the woman it was my first time getting waxed so I was a little nervous and uncomfortable, and she gave me a weak, monotone reassurance that she does it all the time. Once she saw my hair growth, she instantly started complaining that it was too short - I have very coarse hair and I'd let it grow over a week, but I guess I should have let it grow a little longer. First she told me she wouldn't be able to do it, then said she could do a bikini instead of a Brazilian, then said after she started that it was working after all, and continued to flip flop from there, making me feel pretty stupid the whole time. She kept asking me questions just to hate my answers ("Do you use lotion?" "Yes, I use lotion every day." "Oh, you shouldn't have. Did you exfoliate?" "Yes.." "Oh, you shouldn't have." "..."). if these are things I shouldn't have done, they could have informed me when I made me appointment. By the time she got to the actual Brazilian, it ended up being the absolute spottiest, worst job I could've imagined - and definitely not because the hair was too short, the spots she did wax came out fine but the whole time she seemed very rushed and like she was hardly trying. She kept telling me she had another appointment (even though I myself made an appointment). She then brought me out to the foyer to show the other woman working there (I think the owner?) and ask if my leg hair was long enough for her to wax. This woman was doing someone's eyebrows and barely even GLANCED at me before tutting and laughing at me and saying there was no way. Pretty embarrassing and unprofessional to have her standing there making fun of me in front of her other customers. So instead, I was charged for a full Brazilian, even though the patchiness of it makes it look muuuch more like a bikini. I had to go home and shave it all over again, so there was $45 wasted. Do Not get your hair done from this place unless you want your hair to be burned by her 35 years old brush set and without nozzle cheap blow dry. I have an A line bob haircut which she chopped it short even though I mentioned twice that I am growing my hair and just need to trim the layers and nothing should come off from the length!! I got everything the opposite that I wanted. Lack of listening skills. Surprisingly she didn't even know what's a Dry Cut? Seriously! 30+ years of hair cutting experience and never heard about dry cut? On the other hand, this place is extremely dirty and un sanitary. I am very disappointed and heart broken the fact that I ended up with burned hair which are clearly visible but nothing was offered to fix the problem, no communication skills what so ever. I am very particular with brazilian wax because it is painful and can go wrong. For those who complain about the pain, you haven't gotten enough wax to feel comfortable because it actually feels great after a while to be cleaned. I called same day for an appointment and was able to get one it. Ridhi was very nice and actually warned me it was going to be painful, but come on! I've been to 3 brazilian wax places the first was terrible, the second place i went to was amazing but it is too far for me in winchester. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and I have never encountered someone so patient. I am quite particular when it comes to everything and my eyebrows unfortunately share the same fate. She is quite amazing with the thread. A sweet person who is willing to work hard to keep you happy gets an A in my book. It has been hard for me to find consistency amongst even the same threading specialist at other locations. And knowing that each time I come here that I can get consistency with little to no pain is great. I am glad that I have found this spot. The location is private and convenient! This weekend, I had my first (and ultimately last) appointment at this salon. I got a bad feeling from the woman who answered the phone when I called to say I was stuck in traffic, but they had great reviews, so I didn't think too much of it. However, it did not get better!!! I was scheduled for a waxing appointment (bikini and upper leg), and as I sat in the waxing room waiting for my technician, I was struck by how dirty the room seemed. I was also surprised to realize the waxing room was a temporary wall that didn't go up to the ceiling- no one could see in or anything, but it definitely felt less comfortable or private than I'm used to! I'm also used to just quiet music in the background, but instead all I could hear was some crappy Netflix show from the other side of the partition. I may not have minded this as much if the guy on the show wasn't talking about some woman having "an ugly vagina"! The waxing experience itself was no better! The technician came in without knocking and asked "what's wrong, haven't you ever had a bikini wax before?" She tried to pressure me into updating my service to a Brazilian wax and seemed annoyed that I declined. She was rushing through my waxing and causing a lot of pain (I've had plenty of bikini waxes before and never felt this much or type of pain before!) When I indicated that it was painful, she got very defensive. She said "I'm not doing anything wrong" and became more aggressive in her motions. The pain got so bad that I was literally fighting back tears. A few minutes later, she said "ok, all set. There are towels underneath if you need one," and left. She hadn't touched the upper leg area at all, but honestly, I didn't even want her to anymore, so I didn't say anything! After paying and walking out, I checked my watch- It was only 14 minutes from when I had gotten out of my car! When I got home, I had bruises on my thighs. Both my boyfriend and my regular waxer (who I saw three days later) said that if not for the bruises, they wouldn't even believe I'd had a bikini wax! read more
