Ideal image reached out and invited me back for a consultation with David. I had explained to him that there was confusion with phone consultation ( basically a sales call) and treatment. I would discourage ANY phone consultation and go in (in person) to discuss treatment. David reviewed everything and kindly offered to rectify the situation. I went in the other day for a Botox treatment. I shared my concerns with my nurse, Lorrayne. She listened to me, and walked me through all the areas on my face she could treat to address my goals. I had a virtual consult with Frank - he was very kind, relaxed, and thoroughly educated me on the procedures and my financing options. I have since gone to two appointments at the Braintree location and left virtually glowing after each one! The reception staff have been friendly, polite and helpful. NEVER THOUGHT THIS COULD ACTUALLY HAPPEN TO ME! I ended up in the ER! MY FACE IS BURNT! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE! They've done absolutely nothing to help me! They told me to apply Aquaphor which seemed to only cook my burns and make it worse & and apply ice every 20 minutes. My skin looks disgusting. I'm so uncomfortable and afraid! They kept telling me that they're bruises and trying to sugarcoat how common this is and then saying maybe me having sun exposure caused it which is bullshit, I also wear sunscreen as recommended. But no I kept saying she burned my skin, it is peeling off and I continued to get "it looks like bruises"!! The pain is beyond me. The woman was going to let me leave without saying a word; even though I was in so much pain and uncomfortable & I knew something was wrong because it wasn't my first time having a procedure done there, I knew something seemed off. It hurt so bad I didn't even fully complete the normal procedure, I had to stop her. THEY STILL HAVE YET TO TELL ME WHAT WENT WRONG! The woman at the front desk, ready to check me out, who noticed how uncomfortable I was asked me to go back to the back so she can look. Adding to the long string of reviews that I should have read prior to calling. The place is a scam. I called for a quote and agreed to do a service. I was told someone would contact me the next day to schedule a service within the next couple of weeks. Nobody contacted me to book for 6 days. Finally I called them, and come to find out there are no appointments for two months. I asked to cancel the service and have my card refunded, only to be told that it was non-refundable. Don't go NEAR Ideal Imaging!! Stick with a reputable small business. I'm out a lot of $ and time after making a poor choice. I WILL get my money back by doing what I need to They've made a ridiculous decision thinking they're entitled to continue to keep MY $! . Their "virtual consultations" are conducted out of their Corporate Offices in Florida by a "Sales Representative" (probably working on a commission/bonus basis); NOT an aesthetician or licensed medical professional. I wasn't aware of this, when I pre-paid for a procedure during this "virtual consultation". I was led to believe the North Andover office would be scheduling me the next day or so. When I didn't hear back, I found out they weren't even OPEN!! This "nightmare" just continued to get worse. At one point, when they (finally) did reopen, the night before my appointment, they left me a voicemail message informing me that they couldn't do the whole procedure. One "issue" after another and never any apologies. Most employees I spoke with were rude and arrogant! Nikki L. I was sent an advertisement for ideal image last year in April 2022 . I called the number and with in minutes transferred to what they considered and expert aesthetician. It was decided that I get juvederm to fill the ance scars on my face because I have tried multiple laser which was not effective. When I went in for my appointment the nurse refused to administer the juvederm becuase she felt it was an inappropriate treatment. I called bac ideal and asked for my money back which they of course refused and gave me a hard time. So I asked what else can I do for my acne scars so they said a BBL therapy which I then scheduled to have done. When I went for the treatment the nurse again did not feel my acne scars were appropriate for the treatment. So I left again and I heard there advertisement for cool tone. So I called and they said I have one free treatment and they well transfer my credit to the cool tone treatment. I again made an appointment and the day of the treatment they were demanding I come early and when I arrived the nurse had me speak with an NP ( Heather) who was not knowledgeable about my cardiac condition WPW so she asked me to get a cardiologist clearance. I went to my cardiologist who has been practicing medicine for a very long time he is about 60 yrs old. My cardiologist at first saw this procedure as a noninvasive plastic surgery so he labeled it as "plastic surgery" as far as he was concerned is surgery considering it needs his clearance. I went back to for another appointment and during that appointment the nurse was NOT experienced and wanted specifically the language there is no contraindication with "cool tone". At this point I was upset I change my work schedule and my mom schedule to accommodate there openings and still they are having me running around. So I called the cardiology who changed the language of his clearance and wrote a 6 page justification to why I'm cleared for the procedure it clearly stated "she is cleared for the procedure and is low risk for cool tone". Again prior to my appointment I called and made sure there was no issues which the nurse again said no there's no issues. About an hr later after I changed my schedule again for the appointment I get a call from the nurse there who again is poorly trained and lacked experience. His name was David and he stated oh the note from the cardiologist has to specifically say " no contraindication". I was already on my way to the office. I told them I'm already on my way. When I got there they refused to address me and when I asked the secretary to speak with David she gave me all kinds of excuses so I called the police and they validated this behavior was fraud. Thats when all of a sudden David was available. He called the nurse practitioner ( Heather) who also lacked training and experience who was trying to convince me her choice of language is better than the cardiologist so the cardiologist should write it the way she wants. I asked for the policy and the policy states anything cardiac needs " cardiology CLEARANCE". When I pointed this is out that this is the legal preop language of specialized doctors to clear people for procedures she all of a sudden "didn't even read the clearance report". At this point clearly I'm working with untrained providers so unfortunately I like myself and my life so I demanded for a refund. Again they gave me a hard time however was willing to refund me if I sign some form that states that I cannot complain or say anything bad about the company for there malpractice and neglectful behaviors in any media, or social platforms . As much as I would like my money I held off so I can write this first . This company I'm sure has more women than men they services. That refund agreement is insulting. To rid women of there ability to speak I think is disgraceful. Ideal Image is a poorly functioning company and fraudulent please do not use them there are other options !!!! read more

When you book a service, they make you sign a contract. Even if you cancel the service, you still need to pay for the service or book another service (for the same cost) I cancelled my service 5 days ahead of time, and no one said you still have to pay for it. Then 3 weeks later I get a call from a person who is a National Client Support Specialist. He told me I have a binding contract and can not get out of it. He offered me 200 off a service. I told him I don't need the service any longer, and he said I don't have a choice I need to get a service, or I need to just pay them the money. He just keeps repeating this over and over in an aggressive and threatening manner. I can not tell you strongly enough how rude, aggressive and threatening he is to me when I talk to him. He said it will go to collection if I don't not resolve this today. I let him know about the Massachusetts Consumer Protection laws. And that no services has been received and no transactions have been confirmed. Therefore, In accordance with state law the contract should be terminated. I now need to get my lawyer involved now. I've been going to ideal image in Braintree since 2017 and have had many different types of treatments there. I used to tell people all of the time that this was the place to go for Botox and laser because they did a great a great job. Unfortunately the last few sessions I've had have been horrible. I feel like they're not using the same amount of units I've always had done because it's not working as well and it's lasting not even half the time. I thought maybe my session (done in Newton) a few months ago went poorly because it was the nurse not being familiar with how to do them but my last session was done by someone I've had previously and I know she's good at her job. Unfortunately I had the same poor results with the Botox. Perhaps the Botox they use is defective. I'd have called and complained to them but no one ever calls you back to follow up with unsatisfying results for treatments. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else because it's a waste of time and money to go here for Botox. I did have good results for laser hair removal here and have minimal growth so that's a positive. Pre covid I had cool sculpting on my chin thinking it would be nice to get rid of my little double chin but I had zero results from that either. I signed up for laser hair removal in November of last year. Received my first ever treatment. In my opinion, staff were unprofessional and cold. I did not feel welcomed. Following my treatment, I had a horrible reaction, and my entire area broke out in blisters. It was very painful. I went to my PCP and she recommended I do not return to this location because of the reaction I had. I had her write a letter and I submitted this to Ideal Image's customer support specialist immediately. I was told I would be called when someone was able to review my case and had further information for me. Well, a month went by and I heard nothing. I reached out several times by phone and via email, and still no call or email back. It's now been just about A YEAR LATER, and I am still fighting to get through to someone for support. Please stay away from this location. They are so understaffed, that it becomes the patients problem. No accountability whatsoever. Rude and entitled. The woman Krystal at this location is not fit to be a manager, but I guess it's the best they could do. She is very condescending and makes her issues with being understaffed your problem. Very unprofessional, as soon as I requested to speak with a manager and she picked up the phone I could tell it wasn't going to be a pleasant conversation (just by her tone), but as hard as I tried to keep it lighthearted she became very unprofessional and foul. I had the misfortune of taking a call from an employee once I'd inquired about the promotion being run for cool sculpting. It was a high pressure sales tactic saying the promotion ended that day so I had to book it to receive the "special pricing". The agent stated that it was so special because not only would I be getting some em sculpt thing free that was normally worth $700, but I'd also have a lifetime membership, which would include either a eyebrow or lip ultherapy free each year. She said all I had to do was follow up with the appointment person to get it all set up right away and that she'd transfer me over. WRONG. The person I was transferred to said coolsculpting was booked out until the end of May and the other two appointments couldn't be scheduled until they had the nurses schedules in. Not to worry though, 40% of the time, coolsculpting people cancel, and they would call me back in the next few days because I'd be put on a VIP wait list. Okay, fine. I'll wait a few days. WRONG. I call back and the next woman said oh sure, I could book the ultherapy there was no wait for that and the schedule was already out, but the emsculpt thing isn't even included. I asked to speak to a manager, she said one wasn't available but would have them call back by the end of the day. Never happened. Spoke to someone 2 days later, she was much more pleasant and said of course she'd get right on that and make sure a manager called me right back, how terrible, I am so sorry that happened, blah blah blah. Never heard from anyone. Same thing next call. I do not want to continue with my booking and I am horrified after reading all the reviews on Yelp... so I emailed the address that they have given as a standard response to the complaints. Just the facts: On Monday, July 30, 2018, I called the Ideal Image telephone number to set up a free consultation to learn about Cool Sculpting. A woman based in Florida immediately started to "sell me" on cool sculpting and her amazing experiences with it. She then said "we have appointments as early as tomorrow!" I made the appointment for the next day at 10:30 ... until the confirmation email arrived which gave me a date of 8/1, not the "next day" as I had been told. I then received 2 more confirmation emails for a total of 3. The first two emails listed my appointment time as 10:30 am, but the last gave a time of 10 am and gave me the name of the woman I was to meet. On Wednesday, August 1, I arrive at Ideal Image at 10 am. The receptionist was professional and kind and despite the earlier confusion, confirmed that my appointment time on her calendar was indeed 10 am. I was given a one page form to complete. I did so promptly and sat down. I watched as ladies arrived after me and were called in for their appointments. At 10:10 am, I was handed an iPad and asked to complete a medical history. It felt a bit invasive for a "free consult" but I completed it and asked if I would have to wait much longer. The receptionist apologized and told me the consultant was on her way. I said "you mean she is not here?" The receptionist said the consultant was on her way and would be here soon and nobody else could do it. Receptionist apologized profusely for the delay, offered to give me a 20% discount on treatment, and then handed me a "free gift" which she stated is normally handed out at the end of the consultation but she was giving it to me now (I guess, to make me feel better about waiting). The free gift was some sort of a beach bag (wrapped and folded in plastic) and a much smaller pouch which she said contained sunglasses and suntan lotion or something like that (I never did open it.) At 10:20 am, the receptionist asked if I wanted to reschedule, that there was a mix up and the consultant thought the appointment was at 10:30 am. I said, very nicely, "If I leave, I am not coming back. I will wait until 10:30." At exactly 10:29 am, as I was getting ready to leave, the kind and polite receptionist came out from behind the desk, told me she would give me pricing (which I could not get by phone), and escorted me to a room off of the waiting room. We probably spent about 15 minutes in there and I wondered who was manning the front desk (lol). We talked about the procedure and she asked me what areas of my body I wanted to address. I mentioned my thighs, arms, and stomach. Receptionist told me that Ideal Image does not do arms but she "knows other places that do arms". She went onto explain that Ideal Image does not have the right tools to do the arms. I said "oh, that is not what the woman in Florida told me when I booked the appointment." I was told that Ideal Image was not happy with the results on the arms and were waiting for the procedure to improve. Receptionist further explained that they were waiting on FDA approval. I said "yes, but you just told me other places do it, are they doing it without FDA approval?" Receptionist did not know. Receptionist proceeded to tell me that the total cost for outer thighs and stomach would be $4,000.00. I was surprised and asked "with the discount?" (you know, the one she promised about 20 minutes earlier. Receptionist said yes and then said: "Oh, the retail price is $6,000.00, I gave you 15% which brought it down to about $5,000.00" and then I "just took off another $1,000.00." She did not seem to even notice how sketchy that sounded. I was floored, I mean, why not just take off another $3,000.00? Why stop? Hey, why not just pay me to do cool sculpting? It sounded like such a racket! Wow. At about that time, through the window behind the receptionist, I saw someone enter the building wearing a uniform like blue scrubs. I said "the consultant I was supposed to meet may have just arrived." Receptionist got up, looked out into the waiting area, came back and said "no, it is someone else. The other one is always late." Oh really? Gee, you should have told me earlier rather than make me wait for 30 minutes before finally being seen by "the receptionist". A moment later, a woman wearing blue scrubs knocked on the door and popped her head in and said to the receptionist "hey, I can do her assessment if you want." Receptionist looks at me and excitedly says "She can do your assessment?" I get up from my chair and say something to the effect of "No, I think I have all of the information I need. I am sure I am a good candidate. Thank you very much." I then left without the Ideal Image folder, any pricing or other documents, and I gave them back their "free gifts". I wanted none of it. BUYER BEWARE, and if you decide to proceed, negotiate because it sounds like there is room to haggle. PS The consultant I was supposed to meet with never did arrive. read more

They will take your money ($4000) in my case, and then tell you there is no one in the entire company that can help you with any questions. For two weeks I was told I would get a call back by the end ot the business day and I never recevied that call. I asked if I could speak with a manager and I was told there was no one. First you get virtual consultation with someone from other side of the country, then you have to pay right at the spot, because you can't schedule an appointment without paying fist, then they will tell you that no appointments available for 2 mth. Now I can't even get the refund, even though I didn't start any service, I didn't even see the place, because contract says " no refund after signing". When I went in for a consultation for laser hair removal, the consultant (unfortunately I forgot her name, but she was a sweetheart) who was teaching the process constantly stopped to ask if I had any questions and to make sure I understood the entire process. When I went in for my first appointment, I was extremely nervous. The tech sat me in the chair and explained the process of what's going to happen. She was so easy to talk to, which calmed me down. The lasering took less than 10 minutes and I was all set. They have spray on deodorant and aloe that you could use afterwards, which is nice. I got the 60% off one area deal, so my total was about $1400. I decided to pay 50% up front and 50% at my second appointment. About a month before I had to pay the second half, I receive a phone call from Ideal stating that they'll give me 10% off my remaining balance if I pay it off then. Now let's talk about results.. I am unfortunately a hairy woman. My underarm hair would grow back right after I shave it, and for me to wear sleeveless tops in the summer, I'd have to shave multiple times a week. I've only gone in for one appointment, but I see fantastic results already. I barely have to shave my underarms now, which is saving me so much time and embarrassment! I signed up for brazilian and underarm laser treatments for $2600, had one treatment for underarm and tried to cancel my account, as it wasn't for me. I've called and left emails for months with no response whatsoever and had to contact someone through facebook messenger to even hear back. When they did finally call they essentially told me there's nothing they can do and I have to just continue making payments for services i'm not going to be using. I have said i'm willing to pay for the ONE laser treatment I had, but no one is helpful AT ALL and just tells me they can offer other services that I do not want. I would definitely not recommend this business to ANYONE that's debating on getting services there. read more

This store specially is really disappointed, I paid a good amount of money for a laser treatment, first they literally burn my skin and played like nothing happened and it was normal to be bruise, I work in the health care and I clearly know that that wasn't normal. second they are always canceling appointments I don't know if they overbook or what's their deal but they are not good at costumer care. read more

I was a client in this office for years. This year it start to be very difficult to make an appointment since there is a very rude woman at the front desk who make it not possible to finish the sentence or make an appointment by phone. Today 12/02/2022 I decided to go in person and make the appointment since I know people there and they were always sweet and professional to me. Got to the office and there was an old lady at the front desk upset, about (life ?) she ask me if I have an appointment and I said,, no it is not possible to make one through the phone since there is a very rude lady who will make it not possible, so I would like speak with the supervisor please '', she said,, you not going talk to me this way ''and she pointed the door and scream on me,, leave or I will call police !'' I was shocked standing there and disbelieving she had just done that,I froze....there was a woman waiting for her treatment I looked at her and ask her,, did you hear that ''? and she just says,, I'm getting botox here I can not be involved ''....I look back at the woman at the desk and she was already calling the police she said,, I have a client who attacked me '' I have to say I left and seat in my car crying unable to drive ...what just happen? why did this woman falsely accuse me and why does somebody like her even work here? she is destroying the business I will for sure never go back there. That was horrifying for me what happen I'm still in disbelieve. I do not recommend that place to anybody safe Your mental health and stay away, also the botox injector is not a good one even if you tell her what you need she does it her way and you look worse after the treatment .go spend your money in a more professional place read more

They refuse to give you a price on the phone telling you that it is "tailored to the specific needs of the person." However, I got there and she did not look at the area I was interested in for laser hair removal and miraculously, printed up a price! right then and there! (So, one wonders why this wasn't do-able over the phone.) They make you come in and do a consultation, offer you a price (which is ten times higher than the price you would pay at other places), and tell you the offer will expire if you don't sign on and pay up from there. They are overall an aggressive sales company. You fill out a form and they call you. I told the man I had laser hair removal done before and he proceeded to explain to him how it worked (and to give me some stupid sales pitch about how they are #1 etc etc.) then, they texted/called a million times prior to my appointment. I am suspicious of any place that is constantly runs a 70% off deal. At that point, it's not a deal, it's just your price. My technician was also shocked to hear that the laser hair removal I had gotten elsewhere had actually worked (it messed up her plus of "we can't compete with other places price-wise because our lasers actually work") I think it's a scam. read more

I cancelled my treatments due to COVID & requested some type of refund and they have yet to even return my phone call. Mind you, I have yet to go to the office and get a treatment done. DO NOT! I went to ideal image about 3 years ago and they tell you that lazer hair removal cost a lot there because it's the only place that gets rid of the hair forever: their ads been popping up so I'm writing this now: hair was not fully gone by last treatment (5ish thousand dollars later) and a couple years later I am shaving every day (also I moved and was told there's plenty of places to go in Florida for touch up treatments at $50 a go, and there is no place within 100miles). Here tonight after Corporate intervened. I was told by reception that I was scheduled 'at the bottom of the list' and incorrectly. My expectation that l would be served and treated as contacted is too much. Jessica came into my treatment room after I told the nurse the listed areas for treatment were incorrect. I was frustrated and vulnerable wearing only a paper gown when she came in and I was expecting the nurse. I had driven 2 hours from a funeral for this appointment so I was tired but it took so long to get this appointment I made sure to be there. I was told to tell them what I wanted or cancel my contract. I had been unhappy but didn't even consider my $7,500 contract could be cancelled for a refund! All I wanted was to have the services I paid for. This was an amazing escalation. Now I am out of luck for having my treatments completed. read more

Providers are nice, Laser Results are awesome but they over charge you like a mother fucker.
