She wouldn't listen to me, but she spoke loudly and disrespectfully, and even argued with me. She wanted to give me more Botox. She said she didn't want to give me the same amount of Botox as last time. She told me to go somewhere else...! She kept repeating this even while I was paying at the reception erea, right in front of other customer! DO NOT get services at this location. The new staff here is awful. I had my last laser hair removal session, only to be greeted once again by an employee who I've never met before. The girl clearly had the incorrect setting and burnt my legs severely. When I called the next day, the manager, Lori tried to blame it on me that I'm not as tan in October as I was in August and that's why I was burnt and I should have told the staff. Isn't it her job to ask and take note of my skin tone/pigment? I sent photos to Lori and then she called offering me a free service. I told her I wanted all my money back and never wanted to step foot in that spa ever again and I wanted to know what she was doing to train her staff better so this doesn't happen to someone else. She refused to answer and repeatedly said, "I spoke with her." That's not enough for me and future customers. She then told me I needed to send more photos and she would call me back. I sent more photos and never heard from her. I sent a follow up email expressing how upset I was that she clearly was not taking this seriously. Last experience - they are very greedy just want your money upfront. Do not pay them upfront. I made that mistake/ paid half of my package (8 sessions of laser treatment) and was able to only get 1 session when I should have received at least 4 sessions. They want the money for the full service that you will receive approximately in 6 months! AND Laurie (supposedly manager) is easy to increase her tone of voice when you insist on your refund. (Did not get my refund) As a result: Went in for my second appointment and left without getting my treatment! Because I already paid half of the package (8 sessions) I purchased and they want the second half of the package on my second appointment. The facials themselves were fine, and the staff were friendly. I purchased 5 facials here, the first appointment went fine. Though the day before each of my 4 other appointments, I got a call saying that they needed to cancel and reschedule. I get a facial every 4 weeks, and needing to reschedule four times in a row did not help my case. I would not recommend, as they don't seem to care about anyone's appointments. I used to see Wendy for injections and loved her, but she sadly left. HOWEVER, I'm a huge fan of Genevieve and her work! She is so friendly, and really knows what she is doing. G did not rush me or make me feel like she didn't know what she was doing. Everything came out like a work of art! The ONLY reason I'm deducting a star, is because for the last several times, I have made an appointment to only wait an additional 30-60 minutes. Super annoying. I used to work in a salon and if apts ran over more than 15 minutes, we would give some kind of incentive for the customer waiting not to be mad. They really need to do better on penalizing late apts so that it doesn't impact those of us who actually show up early/on time for ours! I highly suggest not booking anything right after your appointment because you WILL be waiting without anyone telling you/explaining why. First and foremost, I would like to tell you I used to love this place when Wendy worked there... She is by far one of the best in the business. Jen also does a great job but this time when I got my Botox done it made absolutely no difference my entire face had movement everywhere and people were making comments "you paid $712 for what?" When I was looked at, I already had three weeks of Botox and I told them exactly what I paid and they said "we can freeze your face for $500, " NO THEY CANNOT ....I paid $712 and there is so much movement in my face people are asking me when I'm going to get my Botox because they feel badly for the poor job I received. Here's the thing, I spend roughly $10,000 a year with them, I also have referred to customers... I could write a whole hell of a lot more on the customer service end but I will focus on the poor job you can see in both pictures. You tell me, would you get your Botox done here? So now, I find it my duty to inform all of you that the manager, Kristy, called me and said she would see what she can do about getting my botched job of Botox fixed....meaning to actually help me out with some services so my $712 job looked like one!! This review is for BOTOX - not laser hair removal - do NOT go here for cosmetic work. Look at my profile pic for reference...I have great skin and great work done. Im pretty versed in botox and made the mistake of coming here because my doctor is away and I was being impatient (and STUPID). When I get work done I normally go to my licensed cosmetic surgeon. They told me if I decided to get my forehead done before they were back I would need 12 units MAX. After reading some of the reviews here it seemed reputable enough and it was close to my house - awesome! First red flag was when I was filling out my paperwork. There are about 20 different stacks of brochures for different kinds of Botox, dermal filler, and other skin treatments out where you sit to wait. But the only things in the facility on the wall or on their desk are strictly for recognition of their laser hair removal. Yikes. Keeping that in mind. Second red flag was while I was finishing up my papers, I heard the secretary speaking with a customer about honoring a groupon. Not good. NEVER, ever go somewhere that offers groupons for cosmetic work. There's "cheap" and then there is "good" - PICK ONE. Now I go in, and have become extremely worried I've stepped foot into a gouging scam. She brings up the Groupon, I go along with it. I tell her what I'm there for without mentioning what my *licensed cosmetic surgeon* told me and then said I need to start my forehead with THIRTY+ (30+) units!!!! LOL I'm in my 20s and don't even have furrow lines!! YES the amount you need is different for everyone of every age, shape, etc. It also depends on your diet, your exposure to UV damage, alcohol/drug use - but dude come on "start" with 30u for me is criminal and will leave you BOTCHED. I would have looked so stupid and overdone. I walked out because I didn't come in here with the intention of looking like a gorilla with rigamortis while lighting my money on fire. This was HORRIBLE!I've been here before, for Botox, and Wendy did the injections. I was very happy with the results. I think it's under new ownership now. ..? I could give them a zero I would. The people are nice but every laser technician I had was new, I felt more like I was guiding them through the process than the other way around. I got the lser surgery because I am immune suppressed and got sepsis from cutting myself shaving. A doctor literally told me to do it. It was a huge mistake. 1 month out from my final treatment I was covered in coarse dark hair, I called and was told I could purchase a touch up session. 2 years out it is worse than when I began and I'm thousands of dollars lost for nothing. Not only did it NOT rid me of hair, it became thicker, fuller, coarser and darker. I have far more ingrown hairs now than I have had in my entire life. They are offering fraud schemes. I purchased a laser package in 2019. They never mentioned the expiration of the treatments. Now, they are asking me to repurchase. I asked for the terms and conditions forms saying about this expiration date. They are not willing to provide those and stopped lifting my calls. The manager of this branch is extremely rude. She makes up false stories that I have never visited the spa since 2017, but I went for my laser treatments until 2020, which is recorded in my appointment history. I spent several hundred dollars getting laser hair removal. The location is very clean and there is a ton of parking. I had to reschedule a couple times and they were ok with it/accommodating. I got my upper lip, arm pits, full legs, and bikini line laser hair removal. To this day I have not seen much of a change and have to shave every week at least. The hair grew back slightly lighter and more scattered, and now that the treatment ended, I have the same amount of hair as when I started and have about $550 less in my bank account. I reached out to other laser salons and they mentioned that if the laser is old or outdated sometimes the effect is very poor, so I am fairly sure if they are using old equipment. The process was typically pain free - and several times I asked them to use a stronger pulse because I wanted to have an effective hair removal. At the end of several months, I mentioned to the staff that nothing had changed and they recommended that I continue coming for more sessions, which seemed counter intuitive since my results were lackluster/ non existent. They mentioned that my hair might be too dark, which was complete BS because any article you read about this treatment says that having LIGHT skin and DARK hair is the BEST combination to get results since the laser easily heats the pigment of the hair since there is little pigment in the skin. When they said that, they must have mistaken me for someone who never read about how this process works. They seem to not understand the mechanics of the hair removal. The staff was great when I started getting treated. Over the months, though, the staff became problematic and one woman would actually complain to me about the other employees. There was too much over-sharing (when the technician who I usually had for appointments was no longer with the company, instead of being professional about it, the staff weirdly was telling me wayyyy to much info about her getting fired.) You could say I was what you would consider a regular at laser MD, for a few years now. I was very happy going there until Wendy left. They didn't even tell me that she was gone when I made my appointment. I should have figured something was up when I had to wait over 40 minutes for my appointment. At which time I realized that I needed to reschedule because I was going to be late for an engagement I had afterwards if I waited any longer. The next time I came in, same thing, I had to wait 45 minutes or more for my appointment. They stated it was because they were updating their system. Anyway, I expected to ask Wendy about it and to my surprise it was not Wendy. It was someone named Genn. I specifically asked to make my appointment with WENDY when I called. Had I known, I would not have made an appointment with this new person that I knew absolutely nothing about. Because I had already walked out when I had my prior appointment scheduled because they were running so late, I was way overdue for having my injections done . I also was planning to attend a major event for which I was going to be photographed and wanted to look nice for. So, against my better judgement I decided to give Genn the benefit of the doubt. I figured that if Wendy had been so great, then this new person must be, also. I was wrong. She made an absolute mess of my face. I had to spend a lot of money to fix her mistakes. I had to have filler dissolved by another injector. In all the years I've had this done I never had to have filler dissolved before! Then, I had to spend more money on filler to get my face fixed because it was completely asymmetrical after she injected me. She also stuck the needle so far into my face that it hit my bone and she jabbed it in, hard. She left me with a black eye from Botox. Botox is usually a cake walk for me but when she administered it, it freaking killed. AND She gave me duck lips. I looked ridiculous and there are wedding photos to prove it. For years I have been getting "a little help" looking younger than my age and no one suspected. But after going to Genn, the cat is out of the bag now! Even strangers were eyeing my face, and a man at a gas station asked me if my lips were real! On top of that, the other girls, desk people or whoever they were techs/assistants I don't know, kept coming in and out, in and out of the room while I was having my face jabbed by needles, it was very unnerving. Really unprofessional! I highly suggest that you seek elsewhere for your fillers and Botox. Jen seems like a nice person but she needs a lot more training or maybe she should seek a career elsewhere. Don't let them suck you in with their low prices , they are low for a reason ! You get what you pay for! And you will spend twice as much maybe more so trying to fix what they botch up. Let me start by saying Dr. Ballenas has a great personality and his staffs is all wonderful.I had lipo done at the Braintree location in may 2014 for my back bra rows and my front bra rows. He did the back bra rows first after 3 to 4 hours I was done and home 5 days later I took out the shaper to take shower and was very unsatisfied I called him and told him he told me its because I was still swollen bout a week or 2 later he did my front bra rows I wear the shaper for 4months straight and still no result. So I told him I was not happy in September he agreed the the results is not fair and agreed to redo my lipo but for a fee of $1500 so the next day I call the office and told the staff that I will not pay the $1500 and I needed to talk to owner two days later the staff called me back and told me that I didn't have to pay so the end of september I went back and Dr. Ballenas redo my lipo its now may 2015 and I still wear the shaper but nothing has change. I went to sit with Dr. Ballenas in April 2015 He agreed that I need to redo my lipo but for a fee of $2000 after carfull thinking I'm not going to put more money out because I don't think he can do the lipo and give me the results I wash I can show pic but my phone will not let me its very depressing that I spent $5500 for nothing read more

This is my 6th laser treatment at this location. Every time I come I am always waiting at least 15 mins or more. I've been late once and still had to wait. I had 3 different ladies perform my laser. The first 2 sessions I had was OK. The lady talked a lot and didn't record what body parts she performed on me. Shannon did my 3rd laser treatment and I like her. I made my 4th appt with her again but had to change the date so I had someone else did my 4th treatment. I called to reschedule and they messed up my appt but they fixed it (wasn't very happy with it but they did it). The lady was nice and but tried to get me to buy more sessions, which I ended up doing. My 5th appt was with Shannon again. It was great and all but I still had to wait a good 12 mins. Now I'm at my 6th treatment and my appt is for 6PM. I'm wondering how long it will take before I get seen. Overall, the service and staff aren't bad. Shannon is great and very careful. I just wish I don't have to wait so long for my treatment especially when I rush here after work to make it on time. I also understand its not in their control some time when customers come late but so far I always wait for more than 15 mins for my appt. Lastly, for some reason they NEVER have weekend appt available. It can be an inconvenience if that's the only time you can come. I am a former customer and to say that I am more than disappointed and dissatisfied would be an understatement! I can't believe that it has had to come to this. I purchased a laser hair removal package of 8 visits and only had two visits. I called and was told that they were closed due to COVID and was never contacted when reopened. I called and went for a visit but couldn't go thro with it since I was on antibiotics within 10 days of the visit. I was told to come back and it wouldn't count as a visi, when I called back I was told that they couldn't find my package and that the company was sold. I asked for a manager and was hung up on! I called back and was told that the manager was on vacation for another week and a half. I called back and emailed multiple times and never got a respons. I finally got ahold of the manager and she told me she would look into it and call me within three days. I had to call her back since she did not. I then emailed corporate but got a kicked back email saying it was the wrong address and since then I haven't been able to get this resolve. since before buying this package I bought before and ended up buying this package in which I'm writing about and have spend a good amount of money on, all I was hoping for was to be able to get the service I purchased and they won't honor it! I am actually quiet surprise with the negative reviews on here. From the very first day Kristi the regional manager has been absolutely amazing. I did my research so my FAQ was not as much as it could have been. I am African American so the most important question for me was do you have the right laser so my skin do not get dark marks. She reassured me that I would not have any marks. This is now going on my 8th treatment this month and it has been absolutely was worth it. I have (had-it works) very thick hair and from the very first treatment I saw a HUGE difference. DO IT!. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere I LOVE. Backstory: I went there for my 3rd consultation in my quest to choose a suitable laser provider. The GOOD: pricing is really competitive (with Groupon apparently) and the location is nice. The BAD: my rep was nice enough in person but upon follow up calls she was pushy and kind of a jerk. ***** The site advertised a test session before committing to a package. I didn't see this until after my consultation. I came in on my own, I wasn't aware of any Groupon deals. The rep proceeds to quote me Groupon pricing which was great but I wasn't ready to start. When she called for a follow up, I told her I wanted the advertised test session and she proceeded to tell me how I didn't need one because if I was a former waxer I can laser. Excuse me? (First of all she has no knowledge of my life or pain levels) Then she says that since I was getting a Groupon deal I didn't qualify for a test session. Would NEVER recommend LaserMD. I was recommended it by my Waxing Technician as a method to try for my full legs, underarms, and Brazilian. I paid over $3000 for 8 treatments. After the 8 treatments i could see NO difference. I went in for a follow up consultation to see if they could help. They said they needed me to grow my hair for them to see the regrowth. So I did, but the girl literally laughed at me when she saw my legs. She said she couldn't see any hair and it had to be longer. I felt awful and it definitely wasn't the first time i left this place feeling totally uncomfortable and upset. After speaking to others, they didn't need to visibly see the hair. You could clearly see on my legs the hair follicles on my legs. So, definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I had used a Groupon account credit which was the only reason for purchasing a Groupon for this service. Kristi Demase, the District Manager, would not honor my Groupon citing that I had already used "the same one" in a prior visit and that I "should have read the fine print". Embarrassing and unprofessional, her response made me very uncomfortable. Despite the great experience with Wendy, I would never purchase any additional services from this spa. I am in management and deal with customers frequently - despite any business circumstances, I would never treat a customer the way I was treated today. The thing I don't like is the lady can't stop asking me to buy this and that. When I said no is no...stop asking me. It is annoying!!!
