She said they would only do extractions on my nose and lips and I said that was perfect for me . They take me to the room and leave the room so I can change out of my shirt . MIND YOU THIS IS A 60 MINUTE FACIAL . I paid for a 60 minute facial which means I expect 60 mins worth of service . It took her 5 minutes to come back to the room . There was no sink for her to wash her hands and I didn't see her put on hand sanitizer . She washed my face and then applied an exfoliator that felt like tree hut scrub . She then left the room for 10 more minutes at this point we have only gotten to exfoliation and she already hasn't been on the room for 15 minutes ..... she comes back and puts this ultrasonic device that is usually used for extractions , she put no pressure and no extractions nor dead skin was taken off . She then gives me the shittiest facial massage . No technique , no pressure , just slathering thick cream on my face this goes on for about 10 minutes and then she slathers a mask on me and leaves for the rest of the appointment . I laid there for 15-20 mins just wondering where she left . Usually during a mask , estheticians will find something to do like a scalp massage or anything really that is providing a service in that downtime . She comes back takes off the mask and this point I'm really upset . I try to walk out the door , and the front desk harassed me about a tip I told her it was the worse facial I have ever received I will definitely not be tipping . Not only am I going to dispute this with my bank but I am absolutely reporting this place to the board of Estheticians. There is no way this lady went though any formal training . You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for this SCAM . You should t have to scam people out of money . Definitely did not receive the service i paid for .

I bought the Groupon deal for the full set of 3D mink lashes. This was my first time getting lash extensions and it took a week for me to bypass all the small annoyances and truly appreciate the beauty of the lash extensions. They lasted a good three weeks for me until I started balding out -- I let it naturally fall off and chose not to do a fill. Although the results looked good, the process to get there was merely OK. My lady wasn't rude or anything, but she wasn't enjoyable or helpful either. It was easy enough to schedule an appointment, but upon arrival, she didn't ask me any questions on how I wanted the lashes to look and failed to explain what she was doing throughout the process. She also didn't tell me how to take care of the lashes afterwards... I had to look up the care process online and ask friends who have extensions. Walking through the steps and providing info on how to make the lashes last long is extremely important, especially for first timers such as myself. The price was a steal, but it comes at the expense of great customer service. Again, they weren't horrible, but just not helpful. If this isn't an important factor for you, I would recommend you come here for your lashes at a low price. Otherwise, I'm sure there are better places for lashes. P.S. I never realized how crooked by brows were (one higher than the other) until she took a close up picture of my lashes. read more

I found this spot while in search for a good massage in Hermosa Beach. It is tucked in a small strip between a vans store and dry cleaners. The inside is done really nicely. It doesn't look cheap or cluttered like other massage spas in the area. I go back once a month and the massage is the best in town. Their masseuses really know how to apply deep pressure. What I also love about the massage is that they massage your feet for a little bit, as other places don't do that for a "full body" massage. I always leave totally relaxed and greeted with a smile and fresh water. The pricing is super fair for the quality massage. I will be back for sure. read more

There's a convenience store a block away from her that has an ATM if you forget cash! Be sure to get directions for when you arrive. It's a bit tricky to find her place. She says the lash could stay curled for up to 12 weeks depending on what you do to them. Mine only looked good for a month max. The second month, most lashes straightened out, while a few stayed curled. By the end of the second month, all my lashes were straight again. I don't wear much makeup (only eyeliner) on a day-to-day basis. I wear mascara only on special occasions, which was 3 times during the those two months. I never wear fake eyelashes. I'm not sure why mine didn't last as long, but it was nice while it lasted. It's a little expensive for my lashes to look good for only a month. I see why people do it if they curl their eyelashes everyday. It definitely saves a lot of time. It was definitely nice to have, and I might do it again for another special occasion.
