Her studio was cleanness, relaxing, and very welcoming. Most importantly, her technique is outstanding. I highly recommend Emi to anyone considering eyebrow tattooing. You will be in excellent hands!

She took her time and really paid attention to making sure both eyes looked even since one of mine naturally droops a little. I was especially happy with her attention to detail because I was honestly really nervous going into it. After everything healed, I realized I wanted my wing to be a little darker and more noticeable. I brought in photos of my everyday eyeliner to my touch-up appointment, and she completely understood what I was trying to explain. She adjusted it without changing the overall shape, and I left really happy with it. I'm also very thankful for the numbing cream because oh my goodness... that helped me barely feel anything while getting a tattoo ON MY EYELIDS! Overall, I'm really happy I decided to do it. It's so nice waking up with eyeliner already there, and now I just have a guide if I want to make it thicker with makeup. Thank you, Emi! My first photo is the healed makeup after my initial appointment and the second photo is immediately after my touch-up appointment :)

I looked into eyelash extensions, but stumped upon lash lift, and found Tori in Yelp! The process is a little long, about an hour. She takes cash only. There's a convenience store a block away from her that has an ATM if you forget cash! Be sure to get directions for when you arrive. It's a bit tricky to find her place. She says the lash could stay curled for up to 12 weeks depending on what you do to them. Mine only looked good for a month max. The second month, most lashes straightened out, while a few stayed curled. By the end of the second month, all my lashes were straight again. I don't wear much makeup (only eyeliner) on a day-to-day basis. I wear mascara only on special occasions, which was 3 times during the those two months. I never wear fake eyelashes. I'm not sure why mine didn't last as long, but it was nice while it lasted. It's a little expensive for my lashes to look good for only a month. I see why people do it if they curl their eyelashes everyday. It definitely saves a lot of time. It was definitely nice to have, and I might do it again for another special occasion.

I was part of the whole overplucking generation and I did a lot of research on Yelp and Instagram for microblading. What I found was that most instagram photos don't match Yelp and vice versa. Then I found Brigitte and noticed that her photos were the most natural for people like me that didn't have a lot of eyebrow hair left. She also didn't seem like she was "doctoring" her photos to look better. Brigitte is worth every penny! When I found her, I had just had a baby and was breastfeeding so I had to wait until that was finished, which she clearly states on her FAQs. Her website has ALL the info, any question I had was on there, which I loved. She also provided me with a lot of info after each session so I knew exactly what to expect at every stage. Brigitte took a lot of time with me trying to figure out how I wanted my brows to look and they came out better than I could imagine!! I am so happy. It has also cut my makeup time in half! One of the best things I've ever done for myself. Thank you, Brigitte!!

Miki's ad popped up on my Facebook feed at the exact right moment. In a sea of cheap advertisements for consultations, her energy felt warm, genuine, and trustworthy. I had looked into microblading a while back, but after seeing friends get results elsewhere that they weren't happy with, I was hesitant. On top of that, I had completely stopped waxing and threading because my brows were naturally thinning out, and I love a full, thick look. The consultation with Miki was fantastic. She took her time, answered every question, and made me feel completely comfortable...so much so that I booked the service for the very next day. I am extremely happy with my results! My brows look natural, full, and perfectly shaped. If you're on the fence, trust Miki...she is a true artist.

After she finished, I told her my hair looked nothing like the picture, and I really hated it. She told me to live with it for a week, charged me $557.00 and sent me on my way even though I was completely dissatisfied and upset. One day later I told her she needed to fix it, went back, she made it worse. I went to another salon in an attempt to fix it and paid another $175 to get it fixed. The stylist blended the layers and evened out the uneven sides but told me unfortunately I would need to let it grow out which would take 4-6 months. My hair has been up since the cut on 7/2. I relayed all of the information to her and asked her to refund me at which point she just simply ignored me. Her name is "Kimmie Chi" I researched her in an attempt to find her cosmetology license however cannot find anything under her name. Pictures worth a thousand words, 1st 2 images were the original cut, looks like she put a bowl on my head and just cut 1 layer on top and left long hair underneath.
