My nails are sooo cuteee. I actually work nextdoor and have went to a few salons nearby, which i hated, because of that i was always nervous to try another salon in this plaza. But this one hit it right on the head, and i can be really picky when it comes to my nails! I was in a rush on my lunch break but desperately needed my nails done. I got an acrylic removal, sns dip powder, and gel on my toes. All together i believe it was 85 which i think is honestly the normal price for this but i'm not sure. Took my daughter here after a botched powder gel job at another salon. Hallie was incredible. She was very patient and very professional and pleasant. My daughter LOVED her nails. I went back the next day (I have had the same manicurist for over 30 years but she is out on medical leave) Hallie did a wonderful job on my manicure, pedicure and wax. Everything is extremely sterile and clean and polish is very good quality. Prices are reasonable considering level of service. The entire pedicure took only 15 minutes and her long curly hair was hanging on my feet during the service. The polish application was terrible. What a fantastic find in Naples! I was here on vacation for three weeks and while I might have been able to wait until I got back to my home salon for a fill, I broke a nail. Walking around with a broken nail for a week just wouldn't work! So I broke out yelp and started to see that finding a decent nail salon in Naples, FL is not as easy as one might think. I ran across Essence of Nails and the reviews were good. I thought I'd give them a try. I walked in with no appointment and Hallie (or Holly, I'm not sure) was able to see me right away. She was the owner, and very very good at my pink fill. She even had the white color that is close to what my home salon uses. Her attention to detail was spectacular. Visiting Naples, I was looking for a good nail place for my mom and me to go to get our nails down before NYE. After scouring Yelp and finding places with reviews clearly written by fake clients, the reviews here seemed legit. We made an appointment. When arriving we were seated immediately. Coming from up north, I was happy to have technicians that were conversational and very thorough in their work. They did a great job on my mani and pedi and on my mom's pedi. Massages, cleaning, painting - very nice job. I did deduct a star because the prices are pretty insane. For a regular mani/pedi and no chip removal, and a pedi, we paid about $100 before tip. Pretty cray. I've never paid more that $40 for a mani/pedi - not in suburbs, not in Chicago, NYC, SF, LA... Etc. I would recommend this place because they do a great job but keep in mind, prices are exponentially higher than what you're used to unless you frequent a Bliss or something of that caliber. read more

Phoebe did a great job on my pedicure, my feet feel silky soft. Hallie (I hope I'm not butchering her name) did a wonderful job on my acrylics. Really bummed out with the pedicure I got today. The girl who did my nails just rubbed lotion on my legs and feet, no massage at all. As soon as she had finished painting my toes, she grabbed her bag & keys and left with me still sitting in the chair. Then I went to pay with the owner (I think) & I wanted to leave a $8 tip on $35. I handed her a $5 and a $10 and asked for $7 back so I could have singles and she was like, "you want to leave $10 right?" and gave me the $5 back. Not only did I not get a proper massage, but I was suckered out of more money than I wanted to spend. Very upset that I haven't been able to find a nice pedicure around town, considering I'm a server and I'm always on my feet. I would not recommend this salon. read more

I went there to get my nails filled and painted. I saw Hallie. She was very observant in the details while filling my nails, but they weren't 'great'. There were a few nails that kind of bubble out, so not a HUGE deal..i can deal with that. she filed my nails crooked and i was sick of asking her to fix things so i just left it be but the shape varies from nail to nail. And then the paint job....the sides of my nails aren't painted....and then i have paint on my cuticles...which since its gel polish on acrylic nails i will have to wait for them to grow out...i can actually deal with it being on my cuticles...but the fact that there are sides of my nails that were left unpainted....and the fact that was $50.......ridiculous. read more

I walked in to Essence Of Nails without an appointment. I was greeted politely and seated right away for my spa pedicure (the manicure would come after). The decor inside the salon is so nice! Totally unlike many of the other salons I've been to, which have blank walls and no life. The salon is painted a warm color with a nice finish and all of their equipment matched exactly. Everything coordinated so well, which added to the relaxing experience of the spa pedicure. Well...the massage chair definitely added to that relaxation too! :) I got Deluxe Pedicure which was out of this world amazing, very relaxing as I just mentioned. Everyone in the salon seemed to be working at a good pace, focusing on each customer, rather than rushing through each person just to start the next (which I see a lot in other salons). A note about my manicure...it hasn't peeled off yet!! Usually a french manicure won't even last throughout the day, let alone an entire week. At least one of my nails usually chips the same day I get them done, but NOT this one. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Definitely a 5 STAR experience. Took my sister to get our nails done here. I have acrylics and went to get a refil here cause I heard good things and now my nails are bumpy and the shape that was perfect is messed up. My sister got her nails painted by the same guy and he did not let the paint dry between coats and my nail polish is scraping off in globs days later as well as my sisters! The guy also had a bad attitude and kept walking away and cursing while doing my nails and even left right away before I paid. He did not tell me to dry our nails either.
