After the session, I felt amazing. The pain in my scapula region was gone, and I felt totally relaxed and energized. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Susan Burke, OMD (Oriental Medical Doctor) some years ago. She understands both Oriental AND Western medicine, and always delivers impressive results. On top of her skills, she is a warm and supportive practitioner. She can usually resolve medical and physical problems my Western doctors can't address. I came down with Bell's palsy (paralysis & drooping of one side of my face) in early 2020. I've received over 2 dozen acupuncture treatments (for anything from bicep tendonitis to digestion issues) and absolutely love Susan! She's extremely communicative, gives you a ton of her time (her treatments are 2 hours long, where most other treatments I've been to have been 45 minutes to 1 hour long), and works really hard to make sure she's treating you to actually get relief. I recently brought my girlfriend in for her to receive one of her new magnetic natural facelifts (called Qi Beauty) and my girlfriend looked so good after that I booked another treatment right when she came out! In my first session, her vast knowledge of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and herbs, as well as body wisdom, well, she actually stopped the level-9 pain of 3 pinched nerves in my neck due to my degenerating vertebrae.
