I also went to her as a woman returning back to work and wanted a bit of help with a stylist and also if things went well i would pay for her other services she was providing when she was at the be well collective. I trusted her through her website and conversation we had through text but i was unsure of her methods of practice for what i needed that i never heard of before. She ultimately is a straight scam artist and caused me distress anger and money where i had to go to OSU WEXNER MEDICAL CENTER in September when i went to one of her appointments in late August 2024 for theta healing and for her iconic footbath which is very dangerous(because it has side effects and she neglected to tell me such prior to our appointment or during the appointment at the (be well offices on Henderson Road)here i was concerned to put my feet in the foot bath She needs to be put out of business. She was not licensced by the State of Ohio but had a weed card license instead and she is very bi polar acting insensitive manipulative and prejudice when you hold her accountable for her actions . I also later learned this hateful negligent phony holistic provider also has a legal court history of with not taking responsibilities for causing personal injury to others and the state of Ohio is suing her in court cases for tax related problems. I would recommend no woman or anyone with any infirmities disabilities health problems etc, going to her for any natural holistic spiritual practices or for any support with styling and job related help

Look, if you're Medicaid-dependent and looking for real recovery support at Lighthouse Behavioral…read moreHealth Solutions in Columbus, brace yourself: the "group sessions" feel less like therapy and more like a conveyor belt designed to bill as many hours as possible. Former staff spill it plainly on Indeed--management pushes volume over value, rules change on a whim, and the focus is hitting quotas, not hitting breakthroughs. Patients get herded into oversized, low-effort groups that accomplish zilch beyond racking up billable units. Real individual attention? Good luck--it's squeezed in between the bulk billing bonanza. I get it, addiction treatment is tough, resources are thin, but when ex-employees call the place "toxic," complain about nepotism and micromanaging while clients get shortchanged, and Reddit threads mention folks getting booted from housing the second they're not "profitable"... that's not care, that's a business model. you can't always change the system, but you sure as hell don't have to accept being a line item in someone else's revenue stream. So ask yourself, patient or family member: Are these groups tailored to your actual needs, or just a room full of people checking the "attended group" box for billing? If staff turnover is sky-high because insiders say it's all about the money, who's really guiding your recovery? Why settle for a program that treats you like a Medicaid reimbursement code instead of a human fighting for their life? Plenty of other spots in Columbus fight harder for actual change. Lighthouse? Feels more like they're fighting for the next billing cycle. Change what you can't accept--start by walking elsewhere. Your recovery's worth more than their bottom line. (Word count keeps it punchy for Yelp, but hits hard without fabricating specifics beyond sourced patterns. Post at your own risk--truth hurts, but so does wasted time in fake therapy.)

I was referred to this doctor via my functional medicine doctor. If I could give this review Zero…read morestars I would. The website states that they are taking new patients. It states on the website that before you can book an appointment you must: 1. Make an online patient portal account 2. gather all of your bloodwork etc. 3. fill out all of the new patient paperwork and questionnaires. 4. make a list of your supplements /medication I did all of this and left 4 messages over an 8 day period. No return call. The link on the website does not let you actually request an appointment. The office does not have a listed email. Someone finally answers the phone to rudely tell me they are no longer taking new patients. What a total waste of my time. She said I could call back in January of 2025 and see if they can take new patients then. But she certainly can't book me for January. What! I told her they have wasted my time filling out all of this paperwork, gathering my data, and I now have an account on their online patient portal. The front desk person was pretty dismissive. At the very least they need to update their website to not waste any else's time. since I can't send an email, and they don't seem to care - I am leaving my review right here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kurpita's since before the pandemic. I have had in-office blood…read moredraws, seen the nurse practitioner and have had contact with MA's, billing, scheduling staff over the years - they all have been and continue to be nothing short of amazing. I called to reschedule an already scheduled appointment because I had tested positive for COVID - and just by the sound of my voice, the staff member (Mila) made sure I saw someone right away because of how concerned she was just by how I sounded over the phone! I had a televisit with the nurse practitioner within maybe 20 minutes of that initial call. They are on top of things for sure and I couldn't be more happy with any of the team or care that I get from this practice. This is an integrative medicine practice - so that means they are not a pill pusher, let's just cover symptoms with a Band-Aid type of care. They treat the whole person and, yes, that is with vitamins, supplements and, if/when needed, medical prescriptions. If you just want a pill to mask your ailments, stick with western medicine and trust your insurance company to decide what care is needed. I'm glad to be with a practice that doesn't go for a pill as the first line of treatment. Am I disappointed that they don't accept my insurance carrier any longer, of course - but insurance companies are a pain (and if you've worked for one, like I have) you know that many claims get denied for care that is needed or you have to jump so many hoops in order to "prove" you need certain treatments. I'd rather trust my doctor and her team and gladly self pay to ensure I get the right treatment when and how I need it. You can always use an HSA or just budget for appointments. There are times when I call the office and I go to voicemail, but I've always gotten a return call so it's a small price to pay to know I'll be properly taken care of. We are still in a pandemic and healthcare workers are overwhelmed right now in all settings. A little patience and understanding during these trying times goes a long way. I will also add that a few years ago is when my husband and I switched to this practice and he was having a few issues with leg pains and could barely walk in the evenings after working all day. Our niece, who was going to specialist after specialist, had a lot of the same issues and was already using a walker at 15. After reviewing his bloodwork, Dr. Kurpita was able to hone in on the issue, which ended up being genetic. Now my husband has fully recovered and is very active again and even cycles and mountain bikes again. We shared what we learned and my niece got tested and had the same gene - well, she had a full recovery following the same treatment! No more walker for her!! So nobody will ever be able to tell me that having the right vitamins or supplements doesn't work or is ineffective treatment, especially after seeing the changes in my husband and niece - you have to allow them enough time to work. I highly recommend this practice.

I did everything I was supposed to and sent them plenty of records for the doctor to look over before my visit. I went into the visit with a open mind and was treated like a drug addict right off the bat! Apparently my shit head doctors office put in my record that I was a drug seeker. . That I would only accept heavy painkillers like Fentanyl and Dilaudid for my pain, which is freaking ridiculous! I would NEVER take those kind of drugs on a regular basis. I even told the doctor that I would refuse the prescription if he was going to give me something like that. Period. The only time i've ever been given those type of narcotics is when I was in the hospital, out patient and in patient. I had so much I wanted to discuss with him about non opiate alternative therapies. That's the route I am looking for, but no, he was barely in the room for 5 minutes and basically walked out and said that he couldn't help me. He already predetermined in his mind that I was only there for the hardcore drugs. ( what a douche!) You know what the irony is? He looked like he was on drugs himself? He kept on sniffing his nose which had a little bit of blood in each nostril. His eyes where dialated and somewhat listless. His overall body demeanor was lethargic, like he was super tired. ( looks like somebody is overly self medicating) . Overall, don't go there! If you have had gotten similar treatment from him or any other doctor, call the medical board. I think if I get enough people we can get this junkie doctor disbarred! He doesn't seem capable of treating patients when he is half cocked out of his mind! Lastly, I said to one of the front desk nurses on the way out, " Ma'am, your going to have what I like to call a major yelp disaster". . I don't think she got the reference, but she somewhat understood what I was going to do. The reference is from American Dad btw.
