I was not looking for a soothing Swedish massage at that time. I had injured myself and I was looking for someone that could get down and into the root of the problem and work it out for me in a way that I could not. Enter Ally Cruikshank. I set up an appointment with her after I read a couple of reviews left for her by customers that were pleased with their results. When I went in, my back and neck had pretty much gone into full spasm. I could not turn my head at all. Everything was strung so tightly in my body that even breathing seemed to hurt. I was delighted to find a gap in her schedule on the very day that I was looking for help, and I booked it without hesitation. I only booked a half hour session, thinking that was all that would be needed, especially as the focus was to be my neck and upper back area. I like the location of the business. It is very convenient for me. The office area is small and simple, but warm and inviting. The massage room was a treat. Low lighting, warm freshly laundered sheets and towels, soft soothing music playing in the background - everything that you would expect at a decent massage place. I explained to Ally what was paining me and why, and she went right to work. Her hands expertly dug right in. You could tell right away the level of her experience, as she could feel every tight tendon and muscle and set about trying to ease the tension. I didn't even have to tell her what really hurt because she could tell. She also found a bunch of spots that hurt and were tight that I didn't even realize hurt until she started to work the area. I could have easily booked an hour and would have still needed more time to work out all of my kinks, but a half hour was a good start and eased the sharp edges of my pain. Ally explained to me that I could become a regular if I liked, and book the same slot every month. There is a price discount given when you are a regular like that, which is awesome too. A great massage at a discount - what's not to love?? ;) I decided to go for it and become a regular. I also upped the time to a full hour. I now see Ally once a month every month, and I look forward to my visits. Ally helps keep me limber and loose. I walk out of my appointments feeling like a million bucks, and like I could take on the world and do anything! It is a small splurge for the benefit that my body is receiving. I am spending what someone might pay for 2 visits to the nail salon each month. That is a bargain in my book, and while I enjoyed having my nails done while I was doing that, this is SO MUCH BETTER. My whole body thanks me for it. I highly recommend Ally Cruikshank and HTM. I cannot speak about the other therapists as I have never worked with any of them, but if Ally is any indication, I'm betting it's a great group. Give them a try - you'll be glad you did!! He reacted in a playful but inappropriate way, and as a result, he was suspended for a week. At the time, he was also dealing with a serious medical condition that was affecting him neurologically, which we later came to understand may have influenced his behavior. Out of caution, he did not return to Kids Club after that incident. Now that he is doing much better, and I have returned to full-time work, I recently attempted to bring him back--only to be told that he is permanently banned. The reason given was a Facebook comment I had made at the time describing our experience. I made multiple attempts to have a calm, reasonable conversation with staff to revisit the situation, especially given the time that has passed and my son's improved health. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to reconsider. This puts us in a very difficult position. As a working parent, I rely on the Kids Club in order to use the gym. Without access to childcare, we are now faced with canceling a membership we've maintained for years--not because we want to, but because we no longer have a way to utilize the facility. What's most concerning is the lack of empathy and accountability in how this situation has been handled. I sincerely hope the club takes a closer look at how interactions with children are managed, and how situations like this are resolved, so that other families don't have a similar experience.

The pulley towers are ancient and almost always have at least 1 station broken, broken clips/pins, 7.5# weights that don't work well, bars with sharp burrs, etc... Outdated. Missing many machines that modern gyms have. For abour $70/month one would expect better. Seems more geared towards families with kids and elderly. Always adding on new fees and trying to sell extras.

The best part- Katia added in all types of complimentary services during my facial that I did not expect. She gave me a hot stone massage on my arms, massaged my scalp, "zapped" a few blemishes, and even tweezed a few stray hairs. After my facial was finished there was no pressure to buy products or reschedule for another service. Katia gave me a few product samples to use over the next month and informed me that future appointments can be scheduled if I like. One word of note, don't let the drive by appearance of this spa fool you. The spa is in a charming cape that seems like a private residence from the road. However, once you step inside you will have entered a "pamper and relaxation" oasis with a well appointed waiting area and private and soothing rooms. Take care of yourself and enjoy!

I asked the kind attendant to have the owner call me so we could discuss the issue, and she never called me. In the shower I heard a dog barking (don't know if it was from upstairs or from the neighbor's next door)... So, it is a no frills, no privacy establishment... if that's your gig, that's fine, however if you expect privacy, then I suggest a different venue.
