I already thought that was robbery because at the beginning I was only paying for a cheek then all of a sudden they said it's both I need. Fine. For the last four years I have gone to different locations and had no issues getting a cheek/neck and being satisfied with the hair removal until today. I went and saw BRITTNEY and she waxed only part of my face. She then handed me the mirror like they do when they are done. I saw hair still on my face I said what about this? She said oh that's a chin service and you would have to pay for that. I explained how I've never been told this is a chin service and have gotten waxed at different locations with no issue. She wasn't trying to hear it and told me I could pay for a full face and it would be cheaper. Um no! How about you wax the cheek and neck that I'm paying for! To me it also was humiliating to have her think I would not want that part of my face waxed. To walk out of there with a patch of hair still. So embarrassing but I was not expecting to pay for a whole additional service! So I was left with the option of leaving with that patch still on my face. A great customer service person would believe the customer, solve the issue then educate for next time with the hopes that the person would come back. Nope she was cold about it. Then when I was about to pay the front desk asked me how my service was, I told them the issue and all they could say was I was wrong and sorry it was misrepresented elsewhere. That changes nothing EWC WOODBURY! How can multiple other locations all recognize a cheek and neck as the same thing besides your location! Absolutely ridiculous. She is one of the sweetest and friendliest business owners I've encountered as well, and that will also put you at ease! Allure is located in a single office suite on the lower level of a building called Midway on Greeley. The room is comfortable and nicely decorated and Annie is professional. No need to worry about botched services here. Prices are reasonable compared with other places I've seen too. Annie will make sure you get your money's worth and is an honest and generous person. She has even thrown in little bonuses for me like a tiny take-home jar of special lotion to ease the irritation after electrolysis, or a quick treatment for my acne while I was there for electrolysis. Electrolysis - especially on the upper lip - can hurt like a mother, but the topical numbing gel and soothing lotion Annie uses make it a little easier. It may look like your face is super red and irritated afterward, but not to worry. I've never had that last more than a day. And although it takes a number of sessions to get rid of all the hair, I noticed a difference after just a couple sessions.
