5 stars for LUKE and 0 stars for Jason. We had an appointment with Jason for an oil change at Ford Estabrook. When we arrived there, the man in the first front desk, he asked what was I getting done today and I told him I was scheduled with Jason to get an oil change and I know Jason heard me because his desk is the one next to the man. Jason was busy with two other people and he was not following Covid regulations. He didn't wear a mask talking to the people before me and didn't practice social distancing either but then he saw me wearing a mask and then wore a mask when he was around me. I waited for a good 20 minutes until Luke came by and helped me. He was very sweet and extremely helpful. Luke just got finished helping a customer and approached us quickly so we didn't have to stand around for too long. We saw Jason just roaming around and not doing anything and Luke said he will help us instead with the oil change. We were so glad that Luke has so much great customer service and Jason wasn't the ideal the person to be speaking with next time we're in to service our car. Great job Luke! Had to edit my review. I just looked at my app and it says I have 9% oil life left and it was updated 17 Hours ago. Ford Estabrook didn't even change the oil out my car and I have to waste more gas to go back there to get it done right. I paid $54 for a oil change here& they didn't do squat to my car. The service department has NO contact with anyone who actually answers phones. No one at the dealership will return a call. We left messages and called multiple times, received NO call back or resolvement of issues under warranty. No one there could answer questions about a purchased warranty. A person in the service department told my husband to take his truck and leave. He had made an appointment with a representative in the office. Rudest people in the service department. We will never return to this business, even though we had previously purchased three of our vehicles there. The salesperson we used was wonderful. Everyone else was hideous. read more

Didn't even make it into the door and I'm giving this place one star. Called 11/29/18 to get an oil change on my Ford. Well here's where it got crazy, the lady that I spoke with proceeds to ask for my VIN which I don't have. Asked since I lived close could I come in with my VIN and make the appointment. I was told no that they needed the VIN to make the appointment so coming in would be a waste of time. I was then given a call back after making an appointment with another dealer with the same lady saying their only opening is two weeks from the 30th of November (the day she called). I kindly told her I found another place and that I would pass. She understood and hoped that I would try again with them which I won't. Bottom line I've learned the Pascagoula has some of the worst service from fast food to now auto service. read more

I took my 2012 nissan Altima there engine running fine. the transmission had stopped working it was pulled in. my nissan 200,000 miles on it. I was told I needed a new trans at the cost of 4K. needless to say I came to get my car. It now wouldn't even start, when I brought it in the issue was not then engine. That being said, when I brought it home I decide to find out why it wouldn't start anymore, I got an mechanic involved and told me someone shorted out the brain box. I not saying Estabrook did that but it was running when I took it to them. of course I never be able to prove something like that. Wanted to leave after I got there and and found out that both my vehicles was interested we're gone Sean Varonne didn't tell me that until I got there pleaded with me to please buy a vehicle he had to sell something by that day wound up giving me a deal on a dirty vehicle that had lots of issues not to mention the fins car guy added $3000 almost in BS charges extended warranty which was $2100 told him didn't want that buy snuck it in anyways. Got vehicle home saw all the damage I think it was storm damage even the drivers manual was stuck together from moisture refused to let me return it. They act like your friend don't be fooled I'm a disabled senior and they got me but good. Like most, I began my search online for my next car. I spoke with the dealership several times. Unfortunately, just about every stereotype you can think of when buying a car is true here. I was preapproved, knew what I want, and was ready to go. We were off on the price by about $2K. Probably too big of a margin to make a deal and I told them that. I was at my cap. After a week of talking they told me with my trade they'd be able to get the deal done. I lived about 45 mins. away but with their guarantee they could make it work "if I'd just come down to the dealership" I made the drive. They offered me $2K less than 3 other dealerships had for my 2014 vehicle and their offer to me once I saw it in writing was for $4K more than we had discussed on the phone. Their sales manager was the epitomy of rude and their sales practices are disingenuous at best and shady or more at worse. Plenty of other places to go. read more

This is a service department review. Only reason for only four stars is they are closed on Saturday. While on vacation we purchased bad fuel. Had to have tank removed and drained. Carrie and her team took care of this in a timely manner and got us back on the road. read more

I was rear ended in a brand new Altima purchased from Estabrook. I was pushed by State Farm to go to one of their 'recommended' shops but opted for Estabrook partially because I wanted to ensure any panel alignments were done to OEM standards (by a Nissan dealer). I first visited and pointed out my crooked muffler and other 'hidden' damage that was above and beyond the first SF estimate. The impact was right side rear so in addition to the visible and obvious bumper cover damage, I had a bent 'rebar', rail mounting bracket, and body panel. Per the manager (Clay): the body panel (rear unibody panel connecting the quarters behind the bumper) was pressed in and causing the quarters to pull in and the misalignment in the trunk. Now the muffler ... I specifically asked the question, "how will you fix that?" and was told, "they'll replace it, we don't 'fix' mufflers". Which was exactly what I wanted to hear. After dropping the car off on a Friday they called me on Tuesday to tell me the car was taken apart and per my request, now was a good time to get pictures of the damage if I wanted them before the SF adjuster came back out tomorrow (Wednesday). That afternoon I dropped by and as I drove up, saw the same woman who claimed they 'didn't fix mufflers' laying under the car, bumper cover off, staring up at the muffler. As I approached, a technician walked out of the garage door, STOOD ON MY MUFFLER TAILPIPE, AND HOPPED ON IT! I said "wow, good timing huh?" to which neither of them replied or apparently heard me because neither even turned around, they just walked back inside the garage, consumed in their conversation. I immediately went in to talk to Clay and reported the incident. Clay's response was "well honestly, I know you don't want to see that but if they tell us to fix it, that's what we are going to do anyway. But hang on a minute ... I was told "we don't fix mufflers, they'll replace it". First, why are you making repairs before the adjuster even comes out? Second, what's changed over the past week? Wednesday the SF adjuster goes out and says "there's nothing wrong with the muffler, just put a new chrome cap on it and we're done". As an engineer, I'm not happy with that. You took a thin gauge steel 1.5" pipe, welded to a thin flat stock and bent it back and forth AT A WELD JOINT. Aside from any other potential impact damage internally to the baffles, you weakened the muffler tailpipe by the impact and then literally hopping on it to bend it back in shape. Now it gets interesting. After speaking with Clay (MANAGER) he tells me to my face: "I recommended to the adjuster that he replace the muffler but he just refused and told us to repair it" to which I replied, "That's fine, it's their job to get by as cheap as possible. That's a battle between me and SF." So I go home and call SF, as usual, my claim handler (Adam Lippman) doesn't answer his phone or return calls so I ask to speak with a manager. After explaining the situation, she asks to put me on hold while she calls the body shop. No problem right? I've already spoken to Clay (Manager) and I know he recommends that they replace the muffler. Clay apparently tells her that there is NO damage to the muffler. So I essentially call her a liar because I just left Clay and he told me that he recommended replacing it. I hang up and call Clay back and he DENIES telling her that. I'm befuddled at this point because someone is lying to me. Then Clay's story starts changing. Within 3 to 4 minutes, he goes from "I didn't tell her it wasn't damaged" to "I told her that it was scratched and dented" to "I told her it was repairable". I got three different versions of what he told her, neither of which is "I recommend replacing it". So at this point I think it's understandable that I'm angry but I am already in the process of putting together my Diminished Value (DV) claim letter so that's just an extra $550 added to that bill for DV. I get a call yesterday that my car is ready so I drop by to pick it up. I look it over and don't see any serious flaws. The paint has dust specs but unless it's done at the factory it happens. The only thing I noticed is that while the vertical line spacing of the trunk is good, the alignment of the top of the trunk and quarter panel is still off. Clay says "it is what it is" and I ask him is he telling me it can't be fixed or he won't fix it. He won't clarify. I have to make a claim to SF for DV and I need to know if it's fixed the best it can be fixed because SF will tell me to get it fixed, they're paying. He says "there's no making you happy" and refused to talk any more. Comically unprofessional, STAY AWAY! This is a shoddy run operation by a couple of hacks. Go to a real body shop that's an independent business, not a side business rolled into a dealership. These guys would be bankrupt if the sales, service, parts and shady insurance deals weren't covering their bad tactics and keeping them afloat. read more

I recently was traveling along the Mississippi coast in my new ford explorer and noticed a potential problem. To be on the safe side I went to Estabrook Ford Service requesting that the service department take a lot for me. I was so disappointed when a service manager told me I could leave my car or could wait 6-8 hrs and they maybe able to look at it, normally they required an appointment. I have had many Ford's in my lifetime and never experienced any service department be so unavailable. I was quite shocked with Estabrook given I purchased my 1st car there more than 30 years ago and never had any complaints . I did find a local independent garage that was able to help at no charge. I will not recommend Estabrook to any family members who all still live on the coast. read more

I initially began my vehicle search online with the nearest dealerships and went through the TrueCar buying service to find what I was looking for. Mike Murrell from Estabrook called me, asked what I was looking for, and set up an appointment later that day. I arrived and was greeted by Mike, as well as a few other sales people/managers. I again explained what I was looking for..down to options I did not want and options that were necessary. I also told them that I saw a vehicle in Florida that met my criteria and told them the price of that vehicle (it was a later model, new, but clearance priced--about $10k off the sticker). They took about 5-10 minutes to check on some vehicles and found a few that met my criteria...and gave me a price $100 less than the other one I had told them about. Great, very simple..no haggling back and forth. Courteous, professional...made the process easy. The vehicle I purchased was delivered the next day (transferred in from another location). Mike has also followed up with me, even weeks after the purchase to make sure that everything has been going well and if I need anything regarding the vehicle. My experience from other dealerships in the area (mostly over the phone, but also in person) was that they were less respectful to women and more geared towards men in any deal. I didn't feel this way here and that made the difference in my taking their appointment to begin with. Thank you for your excellent approach and sale. One of the worse car buying experiences I have ever had in my entire life. They act like it is a service that you brace their presence to buy a car from them, and how dare they actually try hard to get you a good deal and get you approved with a good lender. I dealt with the Nissan sales manager first (all I remember about his name is Grace), and he was so rude. He talked down to me like I was an idiot and acted like he didn't want my business at all. Purchased a certified pre-owned ford from Mullinax Ford in Mobile and after a few months needed warranty work so took the vehicle to Estabrook Service Department. Diagnosis was good and service was friendly but it's been months waiting on one part. Called today and guess I'll be waiting for a few more months. Not sure if that's a Ford issue or an Estabrook issue but apparently they make one part per one car that comes off the assembly line and it must be made in another galaxy. Oh well thanks for the five figure lawn ornament....maybe one day the parts god will grant me my prayer. read more

In 2009 I bought a new f150 from Jim Estabrook at Estabrook Ford Lincoln Mercury. Also bought an extended warranty. It currently has 23,000 miles on it and is still under factory warranty. I began having transmission/shifting problems. Took it in to JIm Estabrrok Ford Lincoln Mercury to have it fixed. They "flashed" the transmisson. To make a long storey short the transmission is still not fixed properly and in addition tho that, since the transmisson "flash" my gas mileage dropped from 19 mpg hwy to 17 hwy and from 15 mpg city to 13 mpg city. After researching this problem I found it is a commom problem with all ford transmissions. Chuck in the service dept basically called me a liar and washed his hands of it. So, I called Jim Estabrook, the owner of Estabrook Ford Lincoln Mercury thhinking surely the owner will help me get it fixed properly. What came next was the biggest shock ever! After talking with Jim Estabrook, the owner of Estabrook Ford Lincoln Mercury about the shifting problem and inferior gas mileage problem caused by the "flash", Jim Estabrook, the owner of the Ford dealership told me quote, " You can take that truck and shove it up you @#$$!" Wow! Not what youd expect to hear from the owner of a dxealership especially one that I had spent 30 grand at! Apparently dealership employees take on the personality characteristics of the owner because none of the employees are very friendly...exept when your buying ofcourse...and no one in the service dept seems motivated to do anything to lift a finger to really help a customer.My advice: DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE AT JIM ESTABROOK FORD LINCOLN MERCURY UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING TREATED LIKE TRASH. Go to school on my experience. Shop around. Read reviews like this one. There are literally hundreds of dealerships within a few hour drive of the coast and all of them would love to have your business. read more
