I was panicking thinking I'd have to go way out of my way and be even later to the lake than I was to begin with. But my boyfriend saved the day because he said just stop at Fisherman's. I said "what's Fisherman's." Lol. He told me where it was and immediately I knew WHERE it was but I had never, EVER seen it. Thankfully it was SO easy to find the tanks (albeit I bought butane vs propane...and had to go back to exchange it) and I was in and out. As I said I bought the WRONG tanks. But it was SO easy to go back and exchange them! I even saved a few dollars since the ones I needed were less! I'll definitely be going to Fisherman's for camping needs going forward! Their pricing is close to the big online retailers OR equal. And the employees were friendly and made my shopping and return experience easy.

This is a few forested trails, one that leads to the river, but not an actual "park" as the name…read morewould imply. Parking is at a dead-end in the neighborhood where the main trailhead is. The trail to the river is down a slope for quite a distance, so the hike back up the incline is a workout. No restroom or toilet facility.

Based off what I saw, I'm sure at other times of year it would be much prettier. You have to keep a pretty slow pace right now, as the trails are very muddy...ice covered mud in quite a few places. The main Sandy River trail is more like a road, with a viewpoint of the river near the bottom. The Jim Slagle loop was a single file trail, and slightly more enjoyable than the main trail. A lot of mud, not the greatest scenery, and the occasional trash made for a "not one of my favorites" hike...especially in the land of gorgeous trails.

There was one small oops at checkout--they accidentally rang up my chicks as an $89 bag. The cashier read the price and asked me to pay, but I pointed out that these were chicks, not a bag! She quickly corrected the mistake and apologized. So yes--double-check the labels and review your prices before paying! Plenty of parking spots, and they accept both cash and card. Swing by today w order number and print receipt only to wait 45 minutes and got the runaround several times by 3 different staff. Was sent to rear where nobody could be found. Back to the front for assistance yet again only to once again find nobody available. Finally management came out of the office and was able to catch attention. Finally just gave up and asked they cancel the order As I have other work to do and don't intend to set up a PO box when I can spend $ elsewhere. Consistently poor experience at this store and have to wonder if anyone is home as customer service seems a very low priority. There was a long line and they ran out of receipt paper, so like the person in front of me I asked for a texted receipt to not slow things down. When I got home and checked, they didn't discount some of the end items which equated to around $15 that should have been discounted. Not sure if they are doing this on purpose, but my time and gas is worth more than it would take to go back and ask for that back. Just be aware and check your receipt before leaving.

The refund wasn't in cash, but in store credit, which I can at least use in the store. It's much better than the one on 82nd Street, where the staff immediately said it didn't meet the refund policy, as if they hadn't been trained at all. They didn't understand anything, not even the difference between air guns and real ammunition guns, and just said I couldn't return it! Their quality needs to be improved!
